DO NOT USE PictureMe! It’s a scam. I have reported them as such. The “AI” headshots of me were ridiculous. Not a single one looked like a photo of me. My eyes are brown and most of the photos made them blue. I couldn’t post a single one and people think it was me. They make you feel comfortable before you make the purchase saying “if you aren’t happy, just reach out to us via chat”, but they will ignore your requests for a refund and only give you a chance to try again. Then they will ghost you.
Scam, want my money back. Looks nothing even close to resembling me. Didn’t even get eye color right.
So many of these images look like another person, I realize it’s a AI and it should be expected to get a couple off pictures but I had a third hand in one picture and two heads in like 8 pictures! I’m sad I wasted my money, please save yours.
The photos presented were laughable and had obvious flaws to them. Not only did the photos not look like me, they made me look much older and with wrinkles (I do not have any wrinkles). There were also crooked eyes, misaligned teeth and dress ties that weren’t even tied, but just popped out of the shirt. Do not use them!
I paid $21 for pictures that not related to who I am, this is just a fake and scam app that generates pictures like a cartoon and different than your actual face, I was expecting just a background change but it’s all changed even they change me with someone else in the photos lol, not sure how PictureMe still exists.
First of all, false advertising.
When you can do this for free with other apps, why is PictureMe advertising FREE, and then after you to take 30 minutes out of your day to pick all the correct photos and edit them and then not letting you actually do anything without paying 20 dollars. Which is SO STEEP. Legit awful. DONT get PictureMe.
I hate that I fell for this but don’t use PictureMe. The pictures don’t look anything like me. They added 20-30 years to me and they don’t offer a refund but just to keep trying again and it’s all the same. The pictures are so bad can’t even use a single one. Apple should remove PictureMe from the store.
I I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing PictureMe. It turned out to be a total scam. I paid $16, but the pictures I received were completely different from what I expected. The person in the picture did not even resemble me. PictureMe should not have passed a quality audit. I am disappointed with both the developers and Apple for allowing such a subpar app on the market.
I wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing. Not one photo looks anything like me. I was aged significantly and there’s some photos where my lips and teeth overlap giving a horrible image. The details in the hair look like a cartoon and every photo’s facial proportions are so off it’s creepy to scroll through all of them. Don’t buy it. I wish I could get my money back.
What a waste of money. The chat feature to speak with “customer service” isn’t even real, no one will get back to you. None of my pictures looked like me whatsoever. Let alone realistic. This is the biggest scam I’ve ever seen by an application, and I’m so upset that I gave them $21 for the worst photos and lack of customer service. DO NOT USE PictureMe. I’m also reporting them like everyone else. I want my money back!
This was the worst experience possible. I tried two times but the pictures were absolutely nothing like me or anything me (or anyone else for that matter) could use.
I asked for a refund but they referred me to Apple and that led to nothing. I messaged them again only to find out a couple of days later that my account was eliminated and my money is gone.
Avoid PictureMe. Don’t waste your money.
I never write reviews, but I’d like to spare anyone else from wasting their hard earned money during these difficult times. PictureMe made several different people who aren’t me. The photos aren’t usable for LinkedIn because the interviewer will just wonder who you are when you walk in. When you’re unsatisfied with the photos, the only refund option is to be given more free terribly distorted photos of yourself. Now I feel like I can never trust an app ad ever again.
TLDNR summary: not realistic, bad UX and sleazy billing
It used my tongue as my lip! Creepy on top of not looking like me. After a lot of hustling I finally got in touch with support who gave me “credits” to try again but after going through the whole process it tried to charge me again. Contacted support again who said to try again. So finally get to a step where said it was generating new images and to come back in a few hours. Then when I go to login it’s refreshed with neither the original images, second images, or credits… like I never used it before.
When k got my photos back, I was horrified. I’m 37 years old, and I look like I’m 70 in a lot of them. Out of humor I shared with my friends, and they assured me it was worth a $20 just for the amount of entertainment. It brought them looking through all of my photos. Not a single one looked like me. One that I thought actually could resemble me, the arms of the person were conjoined into one arm, and one hand had an extra thumb. some quotes from my friends, “this one looks like you are on a serial killer documentary.“ “You look like a coked out skinny drug dealer that needs to eat a cheeseburger ““you look like a cartoon character from a graphic novel. ““You look like an alien, trying to become a human “
What was created did not, in any way, look like me. Requested refund, but all they will give you is credits to generate more bad pics.
This was awful. Total waste. I don’t even look similar to the photos and if posted to professional sites, it would come across as a cruel joke. I wish I could get a refund because a credit for another set of photos is an absolute joke. Don’t purchase. Would give zero stars, but had to give 1 to be able to post this feedback.
I cannot believe PictureMe is on Apple. I'm going to file a complaint it is horrific do not use or waste your money. It's fraud.
Horrendous pictures and when you contact support they tell you that you didn’t follow guidelines. Do not use.
Please refund me for my purchase. The photos look nothing like me, or for that matter, like any real human.
SCAM ALERT!!! PictureMe is completely useless and your pictures come off terrible. If you say you’re unsatisfied the only option that comes up is to give you extra credit and not a refund. Don’t waste your money or even space on your phone for PictureMe
I’ve never felt compelled to write a review or ask for a refund until I spent $15 on PictureMe. I immediately reached out via the chat in PictureMe , and have not received a response despite them being “available” on business days. PictureMe honestly borders scammer territory
The result does not even remotely resemble what I really look like! They generated some random woman in her 60s (while I don't have a single wrinkle... yes, I'm still young!) who looks like me only in hair color... Don't waste your money on this, there are other apps that do it much better
Wish I had read the reviews… total scam the photos are horrible. Not only do they not look like me they don’t look like a PERSON totally scary looking. Other reviews are saying they won’t give refunds and are slimy so not even going to try. Waste of money.
Literally don’t give them one cent of your money. The headshots they sent me are terrible and not one looks even remotely like me. I reached out multiple times for my money back and haven’t heard back. They are an absolute scam. I would give them 0 stars if I could.
Well if you do this for entertainment purposes only you won’t be disappointed. While some of the images did resemble me the teeth were absolutely horrific in everyone. There’s no way I’d use these for anything but for laughs.
Do not trust PictureMe. My photos came out horrible and have requested a refund. No one from PictureMe has gotten back to me. It’s all AI bots that present to be real but it’s a complete fake!
Whoever created PictureMe should be held accountable for brining such a terrible product to the market. Wasted $15 dollars on this. Fought it with my bank and can’t get the money back.
Horrible quality, and they never respond to chat messages even though they promise a full refund if not satisfied. Stay away!!!
Not worth your time.
Took my money from Apple wallet and didn’t get any pictures!
photos were absolutely terrible and the “money back guarantee” is a lie. They just stop answering you if you say you’re not satisfied with the product
I see what they’re trying to do - but it does not work. AI can’t get the face/eyes right. It was fun to try but I would not recommend :/
Terrible… I wish I had read the reviews before buying. The pictures are so unrealistic and look like oil paintings. Not to mention they all aged me by at least ten years with every line and wrinkle in my face enhanced. There is no way way you could use this to portray yourself in any positive or realistic light. Silly…
Like the idea, but I’m also not trying to catfish anybody. Also added about 30 bounds on my shoulders and chest 😅
I didn’t really think any of the pictures looked like me at all 😔
Made some pics to use on my LinkedIn profile as well as to use for professional publications at work. I am not always camera ready or have time to schedule a professional
Photoshoot .
I am so pleased with my photos! I need headshots regularly for my business and absolutely hate the process. My casual photos are always so much more “me” and I feel like my results really capture my personality but in a classic business fashion.
It’s a super fun app!!!! Get lots of options to chose from!
I uploaded decent selfies and got a really good result of images back. I suggest taking good selfies and you will get wonderful results. Very please saved me the trouble of getting headshots
Amazing job, can’t believe how great the photos turned out.
