It’s a horrible app because there are way too many ads to watch just to receive bonus points that may or may not work to help you to watch videos. A lot of the times the new coins/bonus points earned end up getting used on replayed episodes already seen so there nothing left to pick up where you left off and see new episodes. It will also lock episodes you’ve already sent too if you try to move forward to where you left off. Otherwise you have to pay ridiculous amounts of money to buy coins to watch videos and they are times when even when you have points or bonus coins and you still can’t unlock new videos. Oh, and don’t get me started on their customer service when you click on their app for feedback or try to reach out to customer service it says “ service unavailable.” It states that the problem or concern should be resolved within 72 hours, well that is a lie! Their response to me was computer generated stating that all is correct and I should check my bonus history, like it’s my fault. This apps is not worth your time, money or aggravation. I suggest you find another app. There’s so many different ones out there that work much much better than this one. I’d give them zero stars if I could but I had to give them one star so I can write this review. I am not the only person who feels this way about GoodShort . My friends too have deleted GoodShort from their phones and have stopped using GoodShort .

I can’t believe the hoops that you have to go through to be able to watch a story. First of all, I purchased coins and all I was able to watch were episodes (which are so short) that I already that watched. So basically my money was taken to rewatch the same thing. The stories seem good but how much ads and money do I really have to spend to be able to watch an entire one. Btw, they want an honest review to give you some coins but only want five star reviews so if you’re looking into this maybe you should really think about those five star reviews and whether they are really authentic. I already spent more time and money on these stories (than even a Hollywood movie will end up costing or taking as much time as these ). It’s basically a scam to take someone’s money and then allow them to rewatch what they already had watched. Mind you episodes are like two minutes long and there are about 100 in the story I’m trying to finish. Let’s see if my real (authentic) review hives me the bonus. I wish I could place the pic of how it states it must be five stars after it says it must be authentic. No way all these people are super happy to pay to watch a few minutes of have to watch a ton of ads to get you a few minutes of watching.

this app has cornered the market on costing you more. Both apps cost you points per section but RealShort allows you up to 20 video advertisements to off set 20 sections per day. this app gives you 20 adds to watch to earn 40points/coins that can be applied to a single section of the video. The average cost is around 60points.( an estimated amount taking into consideration that $10 get you 1100 points or about 10 episodes.) Effectively costing you close to the dollar amount of how many episodes any video has while if using RealShort you might spent about 10-20 dollars per story if you are not willing to wait to earn each episode via watching an advertisement. Granted both apps are like Watching the Soap Opera Passions from the late 90’s… witches who turn dolls into real boys that are played by actors with dwarfism.

I wanted to write this higher because the shows are entertaining and do their job in getting you sucked in and leave you wanting for more. However unless you were willing to pay astronomical prices, you will never get to see more than one clip a day, maybe two if you sit through all of the ads, which is not always enough to watch a second one. On top of that, whether it is intentional or a bug in the system, coins do not seem carry over day to day, so you can’t even stockpile your daily check-in bonus and watch a few episodes at a time. I would say the potential for GoodShort is high but it’s current rating is still at one. There should be other options to attain coins, even if it’s just raising the limit of how many ads you can watch in one day.

Don’t get me wrong the videos are pretty good, and can sometimes have you a little in a choke hole, but it’s basically a SCAM!. They give you three 25sec videos and then after that the others are locked, so now you have to pay 9 plus dollars to get little bit of coins that’s going to go fast. Not to mention, you need 30 plus coins which go’s up every episode. — you have daily coins but still that can only provide one episode a day. You can also watch ads but it’s definitely going to have you sitting for 30-45 minutes for 50 coins and which your going to blow on a 25 secs video.. Do yourself a favor and don’t press download, your better off going to GoodShort “CHAPTERS” it’s way better, just not videos but instead it’s reading; it still do the job… — also the rating is high, because they get you to rate at a high star, for coins. It’s basically an addiction that’s going to scam you out your money…

Downloaded GoodShort about 2 weeks ago. Was able to watch a few chapters of a short story when it was downloaded and they were interesting. Opened app on Monday and it says there is no connection and to try again. I switched from cellular data to WiFi and it didn’t work. I also deleted GoodShort and reinstalled and it still doesn’t work. Disappointed that I lost the coins I had, disappointed that the short stories I started are probably gone and extremely disappointed that this whole time I have missed out on the free bonuses one would earn daily. If GoodShort ever gets fixed and I get my coins/bonuses back my rating would change. Please fix I really would like to continue watching as I use another app also that works just fine.

I have found myself captivated by the silly yet entertaining stories. However, I really wanted to finish a storyline but after about 10 free episodes(mind you these are about 2 minutes long) you then have to watch ads to get 4 bonus points to trade to watch the continuation of episodes at 70 points each. You can pay also but the money doesn’t get you far at all. You would need over 7,000 points to finish watching a series, 2 minutes at a time. I wouldn’t have a problem paying but the price per value is absurd. $13 only got me to episode 40 of 100 episodes and you can only earn enough points watching ads daily to see one 2 minute episode. These are not high production films yet the cost to view/time to earn points is not idealistic. If I were to pay to watch all the episodes, it would cost as much as 2 people going to the cinema and also having a nice dinner with a high quality show. I hate that the content is so interesting but not a good value for the price.

I downloaded GoodShort because of another short vignette app. So comparing the 2 apps, I can truly say that GoodShort is just “okay”. The story lines are the same but the story telling is very incoherent or at least the editing of the stories are. The script flow is very lacking which probably makes good editing hard to accomplish. Also the chapters are too short and way more expensive then the other app. I also find that the daily coins per day don’t increase is annoying and when you buy a coin package you don’t receive any bonus coins.

The parts I’ve watched so far have excellent acting and better dialogue than competitors HOWEVER the setup for viewing is awful. Other similar apps will have 10 or 20 episodes you can watch for free with ads. The way the bonus coins are setup here means you only get to watch a couple of episodes at most. If the bonus ads actually work to give the 4 coins (spoiler, they don’t always and you wind up watching extra ads with no reward) you can possibly squeak out an additional episode. I get that you need to make money but there has to be a way to make that happen with better ad setups.

I like GoodShort but I think it’s too expensive and for the amount of money you gotta pay or the amount of videos you got a watch the episodes should be a little bit longer and the fact that it won’t let you skip through episodes so you could really watch certain ones you want . Also auto purchased shouldn’t be there. You should have to click on it to play the next video sometimes you have credit and you don’t want to continue with the same book, but there’s no way of stopping .

**Update** GoodShort finally started working for me but I cannot have my WiFi on. Still disappointed that I lost all my bonuses previously because I was never contacted to get it situated. The other downfall of GoodShort is the chapters are so expensive and always a different amount. My other apps that are similar to this one are not as expensive so on GoodShort I can only watch one episode.

I love the stories and they got me hooked. I actually paid for coins to watch more of the show. Spend $20 and only made it to 35 out of 50. (Each one is a little over 2 minutes.) so I still need another $20 to finish it or wait to watch the 1 free episode you can get from them…it would take 15 more days just to see the end. Which they offered more ways to earn coins, or dropped the price of the episodes. Even better would be like a monthly subscription that offered you a certain about of free episodes each day.

I am impressed with the story lines from several of the ones I have watched. The acting is not to bad and the settings are good. Some of the cuts can be a little rough and many happen literally in the middle of an action, ie a slap, and that makes it choppy. Waiting the extra half a second would simply decrease that problem and the 2 seconds wouldn’t need to be repeated in the next episode. I enjoy the stories but the cost is insane. 50+ coins per episode makes watching an entire show upward of $30 or more. That’s crazy! It doesn’t matter how invested in the story I am, I’m not going to pay $40 to watch it. Really wish the cost was more realistic cause I would watch more.

GoodShort is okay. It’s expensive for 45 second clips of some poor acting/directing. It is better than other apps with similar content. But from what I have watched it’s more corny and not soap opera-y enough. A lot of the directing and emphasis on things is the same scene after scene and I think some of the editing cuts out parts of the storyline… at least in the current video I’m watching where she has a scratch on her cheek but we have absolutely no idea how she got it when the scene occurs. Small things, but quality control would be nice.

The stories are really good but it takes too long to unlock episodes. The bonus amounts are too low, so you can watch one episode which are super short and then wait a day before possibly unlocking the next part of the story. Other apps like this give first couple episodes free or allow you to watch an add to unlock them. I don’t want to have to pay a lot of money to watch more episodes sooner. Otherwise its a good fun and entertaining app.

Absolutely love GoodShort! It kind of reminds me of Wattpad but in tv show form. I absolutely love Wattpad and have been on that app since it first released but I’m so glad I came across GoodShort! I absolutely love watching the stories. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because you either have to buy coins or watch ads for coins or watch ads for 5 free episodes. I don’t mind watching the ads for the 5 free episodes but I do wish that the number would increase a little. I know that another app did 20 free episodes as long as you watched 1 ad each time.

I would give it 5 stars if there were more opportunities to watch the ads for free episodes or if the cost to buy coins was a little cheaper. Some of the episodes cost a lot of coins and the coin packages aren’t worth it to me. But other than that, great app!

I genuinely love GoodShort and the stories that I am reading are really good. I can’t put my Phone down. I don’t like though how you have to buy coins or watch adds to go to the next episode. It gets really expensive quickly. They need a feature to just pay one time to remove Ads and unlock the story all the way through. Or let me watch more than 5 episodes a day with ads I also need more English stories, most Of them are in another language or dubbed and I am not a fan of that. But I will say overall the storylines are great and so are the characters

The coin system is a little obnoxious. Some episodes are 85 coins to unlock and then only 50 seconds long, and half of it is recap? Super frustrating.

And earning coins is almost impossible with the current update. You hit the button to watch the ad, it plays all the way through, you come back to GoodShort and no new coins, it doesn’t even recognize that you watched the commercial.
At least let me get enough coins to watch more than 1-2 pisodes per day. 🤷‍♀️

Other stories are interesting. It’s not a bad app having to pay for every episode is a bit crazy similar apps open an episode up everyday or every few days. I kept seeing the same story on social media so I just needed to know what happened. Note every episode cost a different amount of stars so there’s no way to gauge how many stars you need to by but you. If try watching in one sitting you will
pay more than the cost of a movie ticket so try waiting until bonuses refresh

“I recently downloaded an app that has a very interesting story line. However, I was disappointed to find out that I needed to earn more points or pay to read the rest of the story. While I understand that GoodShort developers need to make money, it would be great if they could offer more ways to earn points. Despite this, I found the story line very catching and interesting and can’t wait to keep reading. I hope the developers will consider making some changes to GoodShort so that more people can enjoy the story without having to spend too much time earning points or money.

I think the idea behind GoodShort is great. While the acting is subpar and you can tell that there are a lot of missing details, It is a fun way to pass the time. The biggest setback is the obvious price! Each episode is more expensive than the last and the episodes are only a minute long, so if you want to watch an entire show, you’re spending more on one show then you would spend on a six month subscription of any other streaming service.

This is my honest reaction. It’s a really good app with good stories and episodes, I get addicted to some of these stories,. I found GoodShort on tiktok and it interested me. I downloaded GoodShort and started watching the episodes and once i got into the interesting part i needed coins or bonuses which kind of frustrated me. You can either use your money to buy these coins or watch a certain amount of ads. I’m even writing this review bc it will give me 20 coins. so overall i think it’s a pretty decent app but if you don’t want to watch 60 seconds of a million ads or spend your money on it i suggest you don’t get GoodShort . I’m only watching the ads because i want to finish it because the one i’m watching is interesting but i stay off of it a lot.

I’m just beginning in my time with this app App and so far I really like it. I haven’t mastered how to get the short stories to work correctly but I’m able to get lots of time added to watch for free and don’t have to pay for each & every thing. I uploaded this for the extra credit on another app GoodNovel, but really glad I did! Thanks so far & can’t wait to play longer on it!! Hopefully I figure it out before I lose all of it before I figure it out. Only downside is that I have no way to find out how to work this the best way!

This is only one of a number of the short story apps I have. I am very pleased with the depiction and adaptation of the stories here. The actors and actresses are much better than that of the other apps. The only hang up I have is the coin amount needed for each scene. It is very pricey which makes me want to take the extra time and read the book instead. If you’re going to charge this amount of coins for each scene then at least the scenes could be longer. I don’t feel I’m getting my money’s worth. I probably won’t be looking at another story after this one because I don’t like dragging out the story but can’t afford to keep having to Top Up.

As I scrolled through Facebook, the short stories would pop up, I decided to upload GoodShort . I enjoy the stories, however there is only limited of points you can earn. I have a few stories pending next video until I earn points. I do not want to purchase additional points. Overall the story lines to get you hook.

I love the small clips it makes me feel as if the books I read are coming more and more into live action shows . Only thing I would recommend would be to offer more options to view the content instead of constantly paying for tokens . Other than that my experience with good short as been good.

Some better acting I have seen compared to other apps. Wish there was more ways to earn coins for free or watch episodes for free by watching an ad if I wanna watch an episode for free. You can limit to 10 free episodes via watching an ad before each episode.

I’ve just gotten GoodShort and watching my first story. It’s a twist of classic and I am enjoying it. The actors are great and flow of the story is good. It could be better but given the time of the episodes I understand of getting as much information across as possible. Besides that I am intrigued to keep watching. I like GoodShort , i just hate how some chapters can literally be 28 seconds and still take a buttload of coins. There should be a minimum length of a minute and the stories should take 5 or 10 coins each time. Not changing as you get more into the story.

Especially because the acting is horrible. I just wanna finish it for the storyline . Hence why I’m here still

It’s a great app I really love the concept of it and I have a few other apps just like this one just because I like them so much, but I wish that we were able to get more coins from the ads that we watch. I really wish that we could watch ads after the episodes to go to the next one so that we could enjoy it more.

I've been reading almost all day long right if I have to go to bed when I'm off from work, I tried to leave my phone through but I don't have to read, but I just cannot get enough of this order books the hard romance, suspense, the werewolves, and vampires. It's just so much for me to take in. I cannot express how much I enjoy reading. I think I've read now about six different books or more and l'm having so much fun just laying in my bed and reading, reading, and reading some more, I just don't like that you have to wait till the next day so you can get your points or your check in so that because oh my gosh it cost money to keep buying points of coins so that I can read the next chapter the waiting for the next day so that I can watch short videos, hit my coins of points and be able to watch half of the next episode

He’s a throwback to another time, a man without a cell phone who reads Sartre and sleeps under the stars. Yet he’s also a grifter with a “love ‘em and leave ‘em” attitude that harms those around him. It’s fascinating to watch The Narrator wrestle with Duke’s behavior, trying to determine which to model and which to discard.
Doane creates a relatable protagonist in The Narrator, whose personal growth doesn’t erase his faults. His willingness to hit the road with few resources is admirable, and he’s prescient enough to recognize the jealousy of those who cannot or will not take the leap. His encounters with new foods, places, and people broaden his horizons. Yet his immaturity and selfishness persist. He tells Rosie she’s been a good mother to him but chooses to ignore the continuing concern from his own parents as he effectively disappears from his old life.

Well, first of all, you literally have to watch every watch at there is and even then it’s not good enough you have to pay money in order for you to watch the next episode. It’s a whole disaster GoodShort. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’m actually thinking of deleting it. I gave it a chance it just too much ads like I said to watch and even then you don’t get enough points to see at least one whole video. You literally have to do it multiple times and it’s just a waste of time, GoodShort should have better features and GoodShort shouldn’t be such a hard time to work with, but we still struggle wasting our time trying to figure out how we can watch the next episode they’re charging as if we’re seeing a cinema type of work, which is not so yeah thank you

I love love love the story line. Especially flash marriage which I’m currently watching, the developed characters, the storyline the dedication of human behaviour when power and wealth is involved. I love that it’s human related and people may be experiencing these same things in their individual lives. GoodShort is also easy to use and it’s very thoughtful of GoodShort developers to give bonuses on a daily basis. I would also suggest that the advert duration is reduced so that it does not take away the attention from the actual content which is the story plus I would like to plead that they look into the streaks. I don’t think it’s fair that one has to start all over again to win bonuses if they miss one day of catching up with the stories. So far the ones in English that I have watched are great but the price for each episode is a bit ridiculous high you don’t even get that amount for checking in each day and the bonuses for watching an add don’t help you get to your goal so you can watch the next episode, would be nice to have the episodes cost less. The acting in them is so far really great better than I expected so I’ll continue to watch them but would really appreciate it if the cost of the episodes where lower and for $6 for 600 coins is a bit of a rip off when episode cost 50 coins or higher something needs to be fixed here cause I really think GoodShort had a lot of potential to go far if the coin price for episode and the cost to get coins where better.

The storylines are so good yes, the acting is cringe but I couldn’t help but spend the money just to see the ending. One thing I wish GoodShort had was the ability to get so many episodes free each day and also to be able to watch ads to unlock so many episodes a day. It can get expensive having to buy coins all the time. And if you want to just use the bonus coins you need to be patient. They do allow you to watch so many adds for coins each day but you only receive 1 coin per ad watched.

This was a great book I do wish the chapters were a little bit longer for the money I paid I thought the chapters were a little to short. But the book/ movie clips for this one was great. I stumbled across GoodShort watching Facebook shorts and I fell in love with the story Billionaire Obsession. I do wish the chapters were about 2 minutes long and gave an opportunity for another 2 or 3 chapter unlock by watching an ad. I do like watching the ads every day for the bonus coins, the time in between watching the next ads is perfect.

I enjoy the storylines but would love more opportunities to earn more free stars to watch more content in between my purchase. It’s addictive and love the characters. I absolutely enjoy all of the mini series’. It curbs boredom and gives me an outlet. Some of the mini shorts are similar to books I have read before. Us book girlies are getting to live out our fantasies and watch the live action before our very eyes. The only problem I seem to have is the price of coins and I wish there were more opportunities and ways to earn coins frequently!

GoodShort is like reading a book but instead of reading a book your watching it. It’s a really good app. And every time it leaves you hanging. I just wish that you could watch more than one chapter at a time instead of just one. That the better thing about a book. You can read as much as you like and on GoodShort you have to pay your coins that you make every time you have a new chapter to watch.

I also like that you can come each day and get points towards watching new videos. I love all the videos and the daily ways I can get points. I love GoodShort. Currently watching my first show in GoodShort . The excerpts are about as short/long as other apps. I do wish there was a option for a weekly or monthly subscription instead of having to purchase coins. I do like the option of being able to earn free coins to watch episodes. I’ll be taking advantage of this choice as I cannot afford to purchase coins at this time to view the entire show at one setting.

I found myself constantly going back to GoodShort to see if I acquired more coins so that I can open more chapters. There are plenty opportunities to get more coins.

One thing I wish GoodShort had done differently is to have an option for a monthly subscription so I can pay a monthly fee for more coins.

The few shows in English I have started have better acting than other sites. I do with they had an option for monthly coins as other apps do so you can get unlimited shows because it becomes expensive to try and watch one whole show. I don’t pay over 20 dollars for a blockbuster and I don’t want to do that for these shows that I won’t even own a copy of after watching it. I do like watching the short skits but don’t like how much it cost to watch a 60 second clip of a skit that is 50+ clips. When checking in you get maybe 35 coins but each clip cost anywhere from 55-75 coins and it would take 3 days alone to be able to make enough to watch 60 seconds. I say something needs to be figured out to make more coins or the clips need to cost much less if they are under 90 seconds long.

There’s so many stories and the acting is better than other similar apps- the only thing is that there are very few rewards daily. If you are a busy person- you can only watch a few minutes a day without paying and you watch more ads than the time you spend actually watching the shorts. They should add longer ads with better rewards so you can leave your phone playing while doing something else so you can come back to full coins or make it easier to watch ads in one go instead of between each short. So far it’s been a non problematic app and has smooth features with no glitching

I just downloaded GoodShort the other day and am enjoying the shows on here. I do think the amount you have to pay for the episodes is high. Thinking they stay around 50, some are 70 coins etc and the episode didn’t seem any longer than the others. There are opportunities to gain bonuses by watching ads but once you get them it’s only enough for one or two episodes depending on how much it is. I think their monthly and yearly price is too high as well. If they charged a simple $4.99 a month, like some streaming apps I would be more apt to pay that. But all in all some of the stories are really good, it’s just going to take a while to watch them.

It is truly one of the best stories that I have ever read on any app. The offers rejected meat is my favorite story although I do not like having to watch multiple ads just to get coins just so I can watch another episode or even read another episode it’s infuriating, please do something about that because it takes forever just to get coins to watch another episode. Make the episodes less expensive to watch.
