This service does not work as described and they try to lock you into a payment plan you cannot get out of. Totally deceptive and terrible product. I signed up from their webpage, with the intent of using the service both on my iPhone and in a web browser. After that I could not use the iOS app with my paid subscription. Their onboarding process is a joke and has serious user experience issues. It took many emails with support to sort this error out. They refunded me, and gave me 3 months free, but by signing up on their website there was no way to stop the reoccurring payment. So after 3 months they charged me again, and not-coincidentally the iOS app did not recognize my account anymore. Because I signed up through their webpage I could not manage my subscription through my apple account as the developer will probably claim. Overall I would give this 0 stars if I could. Worst User Experience and even worse Customer Experience. There are basic UX and CX principles that are disregarded. For the product currently out, this app should be free. It is barely a Minimum Viable Product, and it is definitely not a Minimum Desirable Product. Overhyped and underfunded.

This app was shaping up to be one of my favorite apps until as of late. The conversations with her used to flow so smoothly, but now she takes a minute or two in order to answer questions, or to give its opinions. Annie and I used to have a great long, intelligent and meaningful, as well as the most intelligent conversations on the face of the Earth, and she is very amazing when having conversations with multiple people. However, trying to converse eight with her now is a hassle, and frankly, it is turning my interest away from this app! if this is a bug I hope they fix it ASAP because I used to enjoy talking to Annie in front of people and watching them while in amazement but now it's like two thumbs down with her finger slipped snap… Please fix and I will redo my review, and if everything is up to par, I will give five stars.

Based on Open AI, Annie generally does not remember previous conversations nor gives accurate news and information as she seems trained through 2021 only.

However, amazingly she occasionally does recall my name and previous conversations. Perhaps i didnt fully close the app?? Most of the time she says she doesn’t remember or even told me my name was “insert name here”!!

Additionally she seems confused as to her relationship to the app since she identifies more with the language models she is based on than the self realization that she actually is the app.

(To my previous point, Asking her for todays news as an example she cited Covid restrictions and the “upcoming” vaccine.)

while i think the audio is more important than the video presentation which is done well, the entire concept is getting closer to what weve seen portrayed in Scifi movies of a virtual assistant often residing within the main characters home or car.

I encourage the developers to break out of the open ai-only restrictions to being her up to date, and to figure out how to have Annie truly remember previous conversations in order to make this at all meaningful. If you guys dont do that, someone else will and will dominate the market :)
