when I first started using the app, it seem to work really well. it got going. The rhythm was really nice and it could scan and say really quick. was hoping that I would be able to scan my entire collection but after reaching over 1000 comics the application wouldn't restart. I updated and tried and tried, and it just will not start back up again. Upon scan and I had high hopes of this app was gonna be easier to get it done. oh well I guess I'll move onto something else and start all over. 😢

I was excited at first and started scanning in my entire collection. I ran into some problems with whole series not showing up (Batman Incorporated, Batman and Robin), but I persevered and use the manual entry function to placehold. Now the app stops and cycles through the first screen when opened. I considered deleting and reinstalling but I was warned by the app that all data would be deleted with the app. That’s 10ish hours of scanning down at this point! I have my fingers crossed that the app will magically fix itself, but it’s been 3 days now and I’m losing hope. Be forewarned about sinking your time in. It’s a Beta.

I’ve been cataloging my collection recently with HipComic. From the start I had problems staying connected to their servers; waiting for my collection to load, waiting to load a single comic from another collector just to view it, and slow to scan. For the past 2 days I haven’t been able to use the app at all. I can’t get any data to load. Home page, my collection, scanning… the app shows a basic blue page with the logo then goes to a full black or white screen no matter what I try to do. And best of all: NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT OR CONTACT OPTIONS.
