I downloaded this at a demo and everyone was super fun and nice. ManifoldMarkets is so great for anyone who cares about impacting the world (isn’t that all of us?) so you can predict outcomes of things relevant to your decisions or donations. My friends had already told me a lot about the website, but now that there is an app it is the right time for me to jump in!

The mechanism for making predictions and the payoffs being meaningful “points” that aren’t actually money but still meaningful is something I’m drawn back to again and again. And it’s fun to make predictions and be rewarded for being right.

I’ve learned a lot from seeing what others think will happen on Manifold!

The idea behind ManifoldMarkets, and its interface, are incredible. However, in times of war, when people are dying, to see bets made on how many lives will be lost is absolutely abhorrent. ManifoldMarkets needs to take moderation much more seriously.

Wow. Devs and ux/ui for ManifoldMarkets are doing it right (and where they’re not, they are actively updating and fixing). I went in discord to report a bug and got a response in minutes from like 3 devs…like…are you kidding me right now?! Thats insanely awesome.

As for the actual app idea- prediction markets which use proceeds as donations, one of which is give directly…i mean cmon thats the one of the best app ideas ive ever heard.

Seriously cheers to yall who make ManifoldMarkets a thing.

I wish more apps were as well made as this one, everything feels so responsive, even on my relatively old iPhone mini. Manifold is a great place to get an idea of what folks think is going to happen.

Manifold itself is an awesome place in all regards, but right now ManifoldMarkets is just a port of the mobile website. I think the UI could be a bit smoother and Manifold should have more app-specific functions.

Can’t get past the “What Interests You?” prompt directly following account creation. After I hit “Done” I get stuck on a loading screen. Tried it in app, in browser and on my PC.

First of all ManifoldMarkets is really well made. It’s intuitive, responsive, and aesthetically excellent. I’m really glad that betting markets have gotten the development team and user base that they deserve. I hope it continues to grow!
