CCRN Exam Prep Reviews

Most questions are alright but they are rife with typos, the explanations are lacking, and the subscription is very expensive.

Edit: after completing many more rounds of questions, it is clearly evident that one person writes the questions and they are not reviewed before being published. Words are missing, random letters and grammatical errors are prevalent, etc.

Not a bad app. Though paying $25/month I expected it to have a lot less errors and app malfunctions. Once I hit 85% of tests/answers taken CCRNExamPrep quit giving new tests/questions. I would just take the same test over and over again. Contacted customer support twice with no response. Canceled my subscription.

It’s another study option for sheer volume of questions but I prefer the more polished Pocket prep app. There are tons of typos and I think they went for volume rather than better questions. I’m not saying it isn’t helpful, it’s just that a paid for app shouldn’t seem to be in beta mode.

I like that the question gives you can explain action. I don’t like that you can pick the topic you want to study. Such as just cardiology questions or just pulmonary questions. Also with the scoring it doesn’t give any in-depth information about what you should study to increase your chances of passing the test. Overall I do really like the test bank of questions.

It’s good practice good quality questions and rationales however it stopped giving me new questions at 54% of the total question bank so I only get half of the questions I payed for which is frustrating I was relying on continuing questions until my test date. Another constructive criticism is if they were organized by topic and you were rated by topic it would be very helpful!!

I’ve been using CCRNExamPrep to start preparing for my CCRN, and overall, it’s a solid resource for practice questions and reinforcing core concepts. The questions are well structured, and the rationales do a good job of explaining what’s happening in a clinical scenario. However, where CCRNExamPrep falls short is in breaking down the pathophysiology the deeper “why” behind the condition.

Wish I would have found sooner. I take test in a week. This is great site

Love having questions at my fingertips. The explanations at the end of the questions are perfect so I can better understand the topic.

I like that it gives the option to have an explanation as to why the answer is correct

I love that I can pull this out whenever I have a few extra minutes to reinforce studying. The rationales are understand and CCRNExamPrep is very user-friendly.

Great app to do practice questions while on my shift. Able to pull out CCRNExamPrep after charting and work on a few questions instead of shopping

I have been studying for the CCRN exam for a long time now. I have not felt prepared enough until I discovered CCRNExamPrep. The questions are so realistic and I love how you can choose how you best learn/study/comprehend info. The stats page has been a big help for me as it tells me how ready I am based off of the tests I have taken. Highly recommend for anyone looking to pass the CCRN exam. Will report back once I actually take it!

Great app, some spelling errors, but information appears to be accurate and explanations are helpful although some more detail on some would be helpful. Overall like CCRNExamPrep and satisfied.

I feel like these questions aren’t entirely out to get you, I was able to answer some without entirely knowing for sure. I like the user interface and the rationals. However, I’m new to critical care and just trying to learn. Can’t say how effective this would be for an experienced nurse going for CCRN.

Love that the can pull up questions on the phone and get instant answers and rationale. I can see a improvement in my ability to answer correctly in just a week.

The ccrn pediatric prep app has been super helpful to help me prepare for my exam. I can answer as little as 5 questions when I’m on the go or sit down and take a full test. It’s nice as a busy working mom to have access at my fingertips to be able to study whenever I can.

After studying using Kaplan’s test bank I really wish I had this OUTSTANDING well thought out app to prepare for CCRN before I invested in other study/prep aides. It’s all here!! It’s in your possession almost 24-7 so you can pace yourself to meet your study goals. This is everything you need to know !!Good Luck!!

I am currently using CCRNExamPrep to study for the CCRN Peds. CCRNExamPrep is user friendly and allows me to setup and use for the time I have set aside each day. It did not force me in a box. We will see. Plan to take after the doing multiple practice tests and when CCRNExamPrep says I am ready. 😊 Hopefully 6 more weeks.

I’m being prompted to leave a review soon into using CCRNExamPrep , so this is that review. So far the interface is good and it seems to have thorough rationales for questions which is what I was looking for. I’m currently using the free trial to see if it’s worthwhile to pay the subscription and so far so good.

I would say it’s a good app! I like how it explains to you the why behind it. In case you didn’t understand and had to second guess yourself or why your answer was wrong! I like it so far! It’s not bad at all.
