Took me 30 mins to just make an account. I tried to login with my Weedmaps account and it wouldn’t connect. The user interface is hard to navigate. Seems like just another way for Weedmaps to try to trick the consumers in the cannabis industry into thinking they are cool. They aren’t even the first app for the cannabis community as they are trying to claim, WeedTube has been around for years and the Pipeline they released before this new social club app.

SocialClub isn’t what I thought it would be. Although it is fun to finally get to post my work, without any fuss, reports or complaints. I’m afraid that it’s too free, and un-monitored. Here I thought I finally had a platform that I can post what I wanted, but at what cost. Other accounts are ripping off peoples pics and posts and reposting as if it’s their own. For months now I have report a certain account that keeps posting my photos, and other peoples photos. I have reported this account several times, and I have not got one response. It’s like the wild wild west, no rules, and it seams like no one runs it, like a ghost app, just runs by itself. SocialClub was just created out of spite, and had been forgotten about by it’s owners and developers.

I know SocialClub just dropped so this is constructive criticism. Made a personal account and logged out to open one for my company. Tried logging back into SocialClub but due to how you have to log in via weed maps it not only lost my ability to sign it. It said the email I used to make my personal account and successfully uploaded 2 videos to wasn’t hooked up to my email anymore? So I tried using the same user name to log in and it said it already exists. My issue is there’s nowhere to recover the account it all funnels through Weedmaps which is extremely lame cause they have been just going downhill last few years.

I’m excited to keep trying this but at this point there’s no music in SocialClub etc so it’s like the Prius of apps. So simple everyone can use it. But not up to SM standards.

I wanted it to be the one, but it isn’t. After hearing from the community, the issue is integrity from a moral standpoint, and the quality of SocialClub is terrible from a technological one. If I have a camera capable of incredible photos, but they’re immediately destroyed with low quality representations on SocialClub , what is the point? Not to mention that it’s just a platform for berner to push his continued homogenization of cannabis. Do we want all cannabis to be Bud Light? I would hope not. I vote no on SocialClub

I think it needs alot more for creators to even wanna make content on SocialClub. Many scammers and bots that like my stuff. Once you post youll be relevant for 30 mins then you are a ghost. I guess there is no algorithm, theres a view bug where i can keep refreshing to get views its basically still far from being innovative. No real things to do on SocialClub itself other than looking at the explore page.

The good part is i wont get banned from posting but it feels like im shadowbanned from the getgo bc not many people on SocialClub mostly bots

So here’s the lowdown. If you don’t partake in Cannabis, or not into that kind of lifestyle, probably shouldn’t come on SocialClub. It’s not made for you. SocialClub is new, that being said SocialClub needs work but there has been an update about every month at this point. And I’d say there’s basically about the same amount of solicitors people trying to bug you and tell you stuff as is on Instagram. So not much difference there. And this is a place where we know that we’re not gonna have our pictures, stories, or accounts taken down or anything like that. so if that’s what you’re looking for this is a spot for you, if not then stay on Facebook or whatever

Finally a app for cannabis enthusiasts to post, share, and learn without the worry of getting your account removed. I think with a few adjustments as far as being able to go live and the ability to make your profile private, this will become a great app. Let’s try to keep this one clean and safe!.

I’ll give 5 stars once there’s a go live feature in this day in age if you didn’t develope that feature first and foremost then your app will just flop no matter how you reimage or re build it or even rebrand it the most important feature to any content creator or business owner is go live feature if not then it’s just a platform people will use for a few days then tause in the deleted apps and that’s facts the only way canna buzz app is even surviving to this day is because of that single feature

Although for sure there’s lots of “graphic designers” trying to sell you stickers and logos SocialClub is very fun to use and an absolute pleasure to post on knowing its a safe community for us working cannabis creatives, the farms who produce and the folks who enjoy to use without feeling being spanked “not in a good way” by the powers that be. So thank you weedmaps and Berner for sticking with it and getting SocialClub back in SocialClub Store. I gave 4 stars only because of the 10 logo designers a day hitting me up. Other then that I’m loving SocialClub .

Thanks for SocialClub burner, seems really cool and can help people get started becoming influencers in the marijuana without and demotivating factors.

As a medical patient myself, I really appreciate this idea.

I do think some major changes need to happen though to keep SocialClub thriving. For example: please keep the resolution of videos the same! Killing the quality kills SocialClub for me sometimes 😭

Also, I should be able to send videos to my friends on SocialClub . This keeps people using it more and will have my friends easily revisiting SocialClub to see what I send them.

There is an absorbent amount of people scamming / selling on SocialClub . You might need a (small) team to fully monitor all new posts to just delete all the illegal activity.

Fix these few things (or hire me lol) and SocialClub will takeoff and stick around.

I have followers on TikTok and SC, my TikTok followers are funny and keep me young, my SC followers are family and probably the closest I’ve ever been to my fan base.

After all these years we finally have a place to be ourselves no matter if it’s a personal account or business there is no judgment on our culture. We can be free and post and promote the way we want. Let’s all give a shout out to the CEO Berner and the whole Cookies team for putting this together I see great things coming. This is culture.

For anybody that’s had a struggle in the cannabis world like myself I work for a dispensary and we’ve had to enter multiple accounts and for myself I’ve had to enter 27 accounts in the last year. For the first time in a year of posting any Contant I feel completely free and open the post about cannabis the plant that I truly love with all my heart

I think this is the best new app available for building community and fellowship. I think this the social media setting that people have been expressing the need for! More importantly I believe SocialClub will shape the attitude and general overview of how people will interact with cannabis as a common household addition! I truly believe this community has a rare opportunity of being the foundation for the future of cannabis.

Finally a app where you don’t risk your account being disabled or deleted for each and everyone’s single purpose. A true social app, where SocialClub won’t judge your post and delete it. I appreciate the platform created for many entrepreneurs tryna get their brand 100% out there not just at a 50% limited post because not all is accepted. Thank you Berner 👍🏽

App is pretty great, Needs a few more updates to get it going with the right momentum needed for users. SocialClub could be the new Telegram or better!

I wish you can create Channels or Groups, Even mute the ability to see who’s following you or who your following to prevent random messages or bots messaging you.
