Nothing exclusive, parties where you always have to pay for drinks/entrance, stay in line and hope to not be hit by weirdo man/members … no thanks

Best social club in NY!

I absolutely love Parlor. The amount of activities you get invited to when you become a member is unparalleled. Great bars, restaurants, art galleries, comedy shows, private movie screenings, workouts, sooo much! And the crowd is great, I’ve made amazing friends there. Highly recommend it!

OMG the answer to socializing post Covid

Just horrible. First off I applied and I was rejected. Then they sent me an email saying I was accepted, so after considering it, I decided to join. $70 for premium membership and as it turns out older Parlor members are grandfathered in at a much lower rate. I attended a number of events, several of which were good, but others which were poorly run. There seemed to be a number of people at some of the events that looked quite awkward, and it made me wonder if they took just anyone. I was always friendly to everyone and had started to make connections. Then I get an email saying they weren’t moving forward with my membership at this time but might extend an invite to me again later. Yeah, I don’t think so. I’ve been involved with numerous social groups over the years and the unprofessionalism of this group is unparalleled. If my membership was a trial from the start then I should have been told, but then of course I wouldn’t have joined. It almost seems like they needed a cash infusion and so let a bunch of people in and then kicked them out once they got enough money.
