Please consider making PiP a default (free) function instead of it being locked behind a paid upgrade.

As an iOS feature, PiP functionality should be an app default feature and never restricted. In addition, I currently sandbox your app to force allow PiP functionality so having this feature locked is more of annoyance than an incentive to upgrade. Perhaps, you may consider file format or resolution restrictions as paid upgrade incentives for your app.

PS: “Display Search Bar” is misspelled under Settings - List Config - Page Config

3. There should be a option to use the sorting for all files and folders or just for current folder
I can tell some more minor stuff but these features is basic but necessary

Please fix the bug that any file that has brackets [ or ] in the filename will literally not play, nor create a video thumbnail. I constantly have to rename files manually for this app to see them on tvOS

It has almost everything you will look for in a video player apart from a Mac app and Dolby Atmos on Apple TV.

Is it possible to play local video without copy (most other players can play directly without import first)?

Any plan to support Vision Pro?

SenPlayer is great. I’ve only found a few things that would make it perfect:

1. Jellyfin support
2. Apple Live Photos support
3. Ability to create custom video tags and assign them to videos
4. Filter by tag
5. Better support for iPad keyboard:
Spacebar to play/pause
Escape key to leave player
Arrows to seek forward and backward
6. A setting for on screen controls duration visibility (goes away too fast for me)
7. Preview control slider seems a bit odd to be global. Should be able to set the preview control per video clip.
8. Ability to use the screenshot for the video thumbnail.

Hoping the developer reads this and take some of it into consideration.

I recently encountered an issue with HDR playback on the latest update of Sen Player, specifically flickering in dark or pitch-black scenes. However, the developer provided excellent support to resolve this problem. He advised me to switch back to older builds, which successfully resolved the issue. The older builds do not have this problem. He mentioned he will look into the issues with the latest update that I encountered in a few days, hopes to come up with a fix later on.

I am very grateful for the prompt and effective assistance from the developer.

Nothing more you need to ask for on a player. Encoding smoothly on all video playback. Well done developer!

Overall, this app hit *nearly* everything I was looking for…and more!
The ONLY problem I have is not being able to browse my library while keeping a movie/video playing in background play. This is a problem with Infuse as well. It actually often irks me to the point where I’d rather just switch to the Jellyfin app. If there is a setting I’m missing someone please let me know!!
Other than that, keep up the good work!!

You used to be able to tap on the video to get the screenshot window to go away. But now it doesn’t work. Thanks

Would love the ability to search within iptv folders (group) without going in the individual folder and ability to “show all” on top of all iptv group folders to show all channels across folders.

Additional idea to display search result would be, when a search term is entered, the results show in a hierarchy format.

Ex Search term: Cricket

Search result would be displayed as:

USA
Willow TV
UK
Sky Sports HD
Sky Sports SD
Africa
SuperSport HD

Where USA, UK, Africa are folder names.

It’s free, and it works on 95% on what i need it to do, and it supports multiple profiles and users. Amazing job. Only thing is Apple TV navigation and player controls need to improve slightly, otherwise i barely have any strong criticisms 👏🏼👏🏼

Some video have messed up aspect ratio it’s better to have the option to change aspect ratio. Also mirroring and zoom in-out ability would make this perfect. Great work overall!

Best 2d video player on apple platform. I use it exclusively on my ipad and now on the Vision Pro. It has all the features you can ever wish in a player including playing IPTV playlists. Very professional and plays everything I have tried. I hope the developer adds 3D video support which would make it the best all around video player.

This is the best video player, better than Infuse. To be honest, Infuse still has a very tiny bit better picture quality. But this app more than makes up with much nicer UI, faster, fluid and VERY CUSTOMIZABLE interface that just works so much better than Infuse that I want to pay for it just to make sure they continue working on it and make up or beat Infuse even in the video quality department. I am even willing to subscribe to support continuous development. Anyways, great job devs!
