I couldn’t understand what it was saying and it didn’t even get the right thing.
I had gotten TexttoSpeech since it was very good at the beginning but as I was using it-it became very glitchy and would only read for a few seconds and stop. Or would start reading the same thing over again.
I have been trying to cancel this and it keeps billing me! The support button also does not work in TexttoSpeech . I am not happy and want to be refunded!
I tried to play a pdf file and TexttoSpeech was glitching. It would repeat phrases 2 or 3 times. Then skip over whole sentences. And the text that was highlighted was at least 2 or 3 paragraphs ahead of what it was saying
i love TexttoSpeech so much at least i did i updated it today i’ve noticed a few things.
1. it will pause randomly instead of a constant flow like it used to do
2. skip parts
3. over all less enjoyable to listen to mostly just makes me extremely annoyed.
i use TexttoSpeech to listen to books as i work have been for well over a year now. i can’t anymore with this new update please fix it. i like the old version more.
Voices are very poor and sound super synthetic. Maybe not a problem if you don’t care about this but if you’re looking for a realistic, Sandy voices, this is not the way to go.
TexttoSpeech glitches while it’s reading and most of the time when I click pause it doesn’t work same as if I click play. It also started me over on the story it was reading.
Ok I think Thai app is amazing and I use it daily when I don’t feel like reading or I don’t feel like reading a story because I want to close my eyes. But it makes no sense that at first we can use 5 or 6 documents but then like 1 month later or 2 weeks later we can only use 1 document. It’s stupid to pay for everything because we should be able to save 4 documents at lest because more people would download TexttoSpeech but overall TexttoSpeech is amazing but do better. I’m saying all of this straight up because it would really help TexttoSpeech and the customer.
When I first got TexttoSpeech it was great and then it started reading a million miles an hour and it is not audible at all. Which is frustrating especially since I paid for TexttoSpeech . I am a working mom who has gone back to school and with my dyslexia and ADD I thought TexttoSpeech was what I was needing. I can deal with the robotic voice, I just am disappointed that it is not working. Please fix the problem!
I have one recomendation for TexttoSpeech , i think it would be great to see a time stamp for how long the text to speak will read for while your listening, also i've had a few bugs with the speed of the voice and changing voices, other than that i love TexttoSpeech. I've allways had difficulty with comprehension and staying focused while reading and TexttoSpeech has really helped me as i read allong. Thank you!
Great concept. Needs more voiceover accessibility. Buttons are for the most part clearly labeled but don’t always activate using voiceover. Please fix this.
First things first: GET TexttoSpeech AND JUST GO AHEAD AND GET PREMIUM. So I am someone w/ depression & ADHD to a point where I have a type of dyslexia and basically can hardly read anymore. I realized I needed something like podcasts to get my reading in & found speechify originally. It helped massively so I finally knew what I needed to do. I wasn’t just looking for speechify in particular & when I found that app it was just one of the MANY of these apps I downloaded to try and I’m glad I did that bc I found TexttoSpeech. I actually like it way better then speechify and am so glad to have found it! I highly recommend it. In fact, I’ve already recommended it to a few people including my therapist! TexttoSpeech will prove to be the best $10.99 a year investment I make every single year. I can already tell it’s going to change my life as after just a week it’s led to significant progress in my Master’s studies. Now, the reasons I subtracted a star: 1. Needs the ability to play in the background. That’s a crucial feature that is needed. 2. I wish, like other apps, it’d keep the uploaded file in the same format and function highlighting across those pages. I’ve had that feature in many of the other apps I tried, even the free ones. 3. More flexible speed variability options. If I wanted to be nitpicky: I’d love more voice options, but there are 3 very good, usable options & the one I use is great (the one I use is the closest to apps like Peech & Speechify which do have some great voices for readers, but tbf those have been around longer, are much larger/more mainstream, & needlessly WAY more expensive while still being limited usage-which is ridiculous, so this is a lesser just a want sort of thing, but if you don’t put it out there it’ll never happen if it can happen. Again. Get it. You won’t regret it.
The most important thing I can tell you is that TexttoSpeech flawlessly converts any text into spoken words, regardless of the language. Congratulations to its developers.
It functions great. If I could give it a tin star rating I would for my nephew who is dyslexic it has helped him out tremendously. Thank you for developing such a great app and it’s reasonably priced.
App does a great job at reading text from a photo of pages.
Maybe this is not the most common use for TexttoSpeech, but as someone learning English I use TexttoSpeech to improve my pronunciation skills. The voice is very human-like, not robotic at all.
Not bad
This is my favorite app for reading aloud while I follow the text along, so its automatic scrolling feature is genius and that's why I wouldn't change TexttoSpeech.
Due to a medical condition I am unable to speak, so I was looking for something like this. Obviously you have to type out everything, but for anyone in a similar situation TexttoSpeech is great.
Love TexttoSpeech and the only thing I want to change is to add a folder creation so that I can sort all of my chapter texts of my text books into different folders to keep them organized.
Otherwise, I love TexttoSpeech .
