Let’s start with some positive, the art style is cute and I like the amount of events to start off with. Maybe there is even too many events during launch (3 events plus the main game? A but much). The cards are cute and obtainable just from completing levels and it gives you a sense of achievement. The gameplay is rather intuitive as well, looking at the orders tells me what I need to make even when I feel like I’m forgetting how to make things.
Now for the con that really lowers my rating of this game. Even if you are an ARMY, being stopped from being able to complete later levels or even the early event levels due to the game not providing you enough customers, orders, or time as it’s level design, would make you just want to stop playing the game. Now the devs probably would just tell us to use the power ups to pass the levels, but you only get so many free power ups and once you fail the level due to the intentional level design, it costs 100 gems to get more time or customers. The problem is that you do not get a lot of gems just from playing f2p. I would suggest changing your level designs so that its not impossible to complete without power ups. Or don’t, really it’s your own choice to be a p2w game.

I paid for gems and 2x now on the 2nd chef’s challenge it took 230 gems to continue a round and just as I am serving my last item the games states it can’t connect to the server and shuts the game down!!!! I have lost 460 gems on the same level for the same problem!!! On top of that the levels are too hard and require you to buy gems and power ups to complete levels in the beginning!!! I’ve been playing time management games forever and NEVER have to use power up or buy gems!!! I’m removing this game!!! It’s a rip off!!!

What gives the game away as a scam is that there are levels that you will not pass, even if you max out the kitchen. You’ll still be about 20-30 points short, even if you complete orders perfectly. Why? Because you’re expected to buy the boosters you need to pass the level. That’s why.

Add that to the boosters you do get: ones that give you 15 min of infinite hearts. They expect you to keep playing and keep spending your real money on boosters. Either you keep playing and you keep losing, or you cave and you finally buy what you need to win.

These people aren’t interested in running a fair game. And what bothers me about this is that this is a game kids can play too, right? As in, this game company has zero issues with conning kids out of their cash, or Mommy or Daddy’s cash.

the game started out really fun at first i really enjoyed it but as you progress some levels such as the timed ones are impossible to beat unless by using power ups and they only give you so much in the beginning and the only way to get them now is to buy them using gems and since you don’t get much gems beating the levels, the only way is to buy gems. i was addicted to this game but after seeing other reviews it seems it’s not just me that feels this way. i was really hoping to like this game in the long run but im probably uninstalling after writing this review 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s a cute game, and the food is fun to make. It seems to have a cute story and there are plenty of events going on. I wish it had more to do with BTS though. TinyTan doesn’t play much of a roll in the game or theme which is unfortunate. Would be fun to decorate the map with BTS themed items. Coins earned quickly become pointless. There are levels (liked timed) that cannot be beaten without items or buying gems. Some require a certain number of dishes to be made, but don’t provide enough customers to do so unless you spend gems to get more customers. It gets really frustrating instead of being fun. I’ll re-evaluate my review as it’s out longer, but for now can only give a 2. Seems the game is mostly a revenue game.

This game was pretty fun at first. I’m a f2p player, so being able to pass levels without having to pay anything was what kept this game entertaining for me. As you play more, I’d say the level right before you get to move to New York/last level for Korean BBQ, it is impossible to pass it without spending money for power ups. You could use 100 gems to pass that level, but then you’ll run out of gems to upgrade items for the next restaurant, causing you to have to spend money to continue. I lost interest and stopped playing. Also, this game only plays Butter, so it kind of gets annoying hearing the same verse over and over after a while.

I preordered this game because TinyTan are adorable and I love a good mindless game. My biggest gripe is that your money doesn’t transfer from city to city. Why try and make the most money you can if you can have it help you in the next level? Nor can you use it to purchase boosts or anything else. This just seems like a bug that needs to be fixed. Or why even have 2x boosters. When you max out what’s the point? Easy fix for the game to be more entertaining.

This might be a massive skill issue but I have noticed while playing that there is not enough time on the timer levels, it makes the game unenjoyable and frustrating. I really want to love the game but I just can’t. The game seems intentional on setting you up to pay for buffs so I guess that makes this a ptw game which I am not a fan of.

It’s a really cute game, but it’s ridiculous, because some of these levels are so hard to complete. How do you expect us to complete a level that’s right to serve 32 dishes with only 48 seconds? You don’t give enough customers, the time starts before the customers even come in, and/or the customers come too slowly. A lot of the timed levels are impossible to complete and it takes forever to earn gems and rewards for power ups. Do better🙃

The actual gameplay is decent and is quite enjoyable. The graphics are nice and pleasing and has a collectibles in game. The bad thing is that half of the levels you need either lots of luck, or you need to use the limited boosters which also cost A LOT! 100 gems for 30 more seconds? I used it once and barely got more. Literally every other level had me rushing to finish.

So just be aware that it’s frustrating once you get to some of the higher levels.

I really love this game so far there is just one thing that is really getting on my nerves. Almost every level with a time limit it nearly impossible without a power up, and even with one it is still extremely difficult and I have to get more time after a fail anyway. The frustration takes me out of the enjoyment of the rest of the game. I feel like I’m serving people as fast as possible and I still don’t do it in the time limit. I think the difficulty on these levels should definitely be lessened.
Otherwise it’s a great cooking game.

Agree with the review comments and have been having a lot of fun with BTSCookingOn, but the thing that will likely cause me to stop playing is the Invalid Item Count error. It’s when the power ups have been selected and you press start to play the level. Sometimes it gives an invalid item count error and kicks you back to the title screen. The power ups have been lost, power ups that were bought. The levels right before you get to a new restaurant are a little more frantic than I prefer, but overall I like BTSCookingOn and love Tiny Tan.

I love this game so much, but none of the sound effects work and I can’t hear the music with the tiny tan booster. Is this normal? I checked everything and it’s all enabled. Anyway, that’s my only issue

the game is actually really nice, I do enjoy it, but I suggest adding just a lil more time to the time levels because they are a little impossible to do if you’re not like.. extremely fast.

I think it will be cool to buy songs so they can play in the game while we cook at least their instrumental ver and have special customers like bts itself or other hybe artist like a special event or collaboration

The game is cool but it's like all other cooking games in the 2010s

So I love the concept of this game. The cooking is fun, characters endearing, but my only problems are these:
1. Too many micro transactions! Literally can’t go a level without an add.
2. Timed levels are unrealistic—you are basically FORCED to spend money in the game to get boosts so you can pass the level.
3. Too many events going on at once. There are like 3 different events going on at once. I can’t focus on one thing and it gets a bit overwhelming.

Aside from the above points, it’s fine. But level 110 is impossible.

i love BTS, so i downloaded this game as a preorder and i was soo excited to get it!! The first couple of levels are really fun but once i got to levels 50-60 i couldn’t pass them. It definitely got overwhelming and its hard for me to see the small ingredients you have to add on to the dishes that the customers ask for. Overall, i do like this game! :)

I love this game! Theres so much to do in the game so if you run out of lives in one event you can switch to another.

My only issues are how many times the micro transactions pop up, and HOW HARD THE TIMED LEVELS ARE.

I feel like it doesnt give you enough time, I always had to use an extra time item on the timed levels near the end of each restaurant. I am currently stuck on level 110.

The game is amazing in my opinion I love the different foods, the cute storyline, levels and all it has to offer but I think the timed levels are very frustrating. the timed levels are very short and than the combinations take too much time to do which causes you to fail time after time even with boosters on. it annoys me to the point where I have to give myself a break so that I don’t rage delete the game. I feel like those levels should be adjusted a little bit since its kinda hard to get a bunch customers done with like 40s, a slightly high goal and multiple hard combinations. other than that i love the game and its worth the download for me ofc.

It’s a fun game but you’ll get stuck on levels for days unless you spend money for boosters. It takes forever to gain boosters because the check-in, daily pass, and completion rewards give ‘tickets’ toward boosters instead of actual boosters and when you get to a certain level they’re almost impossible to complete without special boosters. Had to uninstall it lest I overspend!

I like playing the game, but it told me that I had to click on the photo card book and so I did but it won’t let me do anything else I kept deleting the game trying to restart the game over turning my phone off and on it keeps doing the same thing that’s the only problem that I have other than that it’s a good game so I’m reading at five stars I’m hoping someone could tell me how I can fix it

This game became an instant hit! I love the details and how the story of become a real chef and using the flashbacks seriously. I really hope that in the next update we might get 4 new locations ( one for each update) Keep up the good work, TinyTAN Let’s bring Purple Hearts to everyone!

I’m in love with this game, it’s so addicting!
I really miss BTS and I think this is a great way to represent their personalities. We’re all here waiting for them and being so happy playing this new game that we’re all been waiting for so long. I truly enjoy this game and I’m happy I’m able to play it with no ads 💜🫶🏼

I’ve been afraid of BTS since the beginning and to see how far they have come and not to mention, Vicky is so adorable and very addicting and super easy and fun to play. It’s a you don’t get super stressed, which is great for me because your girl has anxiety 🤣🤣🤣I wish we could do a little bit more customization whether it be their clothing or what our character looks like, but I understand it can take a bit because the game did just come out 🫶💜

The “BTS Cooking On” game is super duper fun! The designs are amazing, the food looks absolutely delicious, the events are wonderful, I appreciate having to have found this game when I did. It’s a good way to spend my free time, unlocking new restaurants and going to the new cities. Everything is from super simple to a really good challenge, and that’s what I love. BUT, I do have a little problem……… (I personally don’t care if it’s on my review, lol)

I had made a “Gold Pass” purchase, and only got a photo card.. I thought I had gotten the frame and picture for the profile, but it seems I hadn’t? I would really appreciate it if that problem was fixed X3

Other than the little error, the game is totally worth it! It’s a fun little app to go to when you’re absolutely bored. I can’t wait to see what happens next!!

I’m not really the type to play cooking games but I decided to play this one because it had TinyTAN and omg the quality and the characters are so cute and the cooking part it’s actually fun it’s like this game was carefully made like it was well planned out the story line goes well together everything makes sense I really like it I’m gonna show this to my mom because she LOVES cooking games pretty sure she’ll like it.

Whenever we need to collect gems after finishing a stage, could you make the whale bank free to use, or pay with coins (in-game currency) to use the whale bank, instead of using real actual money as a requirement?
Other than that the animation, character design and art styles are all incredibly well done!

So I've been playing since release good game!!! BUT I was doing to butter side play part yk where you make the stage out of lightsticks! Well I have two more until I complete it then suddenly the play button for it is GONE nowhere to be seen I tap on where it was nothing happens so I'm curious how to get it back and how to finish since I'm two stages from finishing the whole stage please and thank you!

It’s so addicting 😝. It’s honestly not a super hard cooking game compared to others I’ve played. Plus the foods looks so good 🥲 (makes me hungry)

Ive made it pretty far in the game and they give you a lot of 15min unlimited lives in the main section. The special cooking worlds they have are a bit hard but power ups help that you could save up on.

You can add friends and send each other hearts. The photocards you can earn are so cute too.

So I got this game because I love bts of course and it is SO cute!! The characters make the game even better and the rounds are fun so far! I love the mini intro when you get near the other levels and it shows how they helped you and I wish I could watch it again! This game definitely deserves way more than 5 stars! I really recommend it!! PLZ PLAY!!

I love this game so much!!! I’ve started playing it recently and I just love it and it has a story where theirs this girl who is a chef helping her grandma out with the restaurant it got me so addicted I love it

I also love that it has tinytans in it I’m actually happy it’s about cooking I love cooking for my family or friends so playing this game on my tablet is amazing it feels like I am cooking but in a game of course xD also the music is so relaxing if your planning on getting this game I recommend it since it’s relaxing to play it and it’s a better game then other cooking games that I’ve experienced with and it’s not because I love BTS but because I’m in love with games like these it’s so amazing that BTS or Hybe themselves made a game this interesting ☺️✌🏻 thank you and I’ll make sure to play a lot from now on!!💜🫶🏻✨

I love cooking games and I love bts so these two things combined is so perfect!!! I love the graphics of the game and I love the story line! I hope you all are able to keep me entertained!!!

Been so excited to play this since it was announced and it was absolutely worth the wait I would most definitely recommend this game

I am absolutely hooked to this game! Tinytans and the storyline is so cute. The gameplay so smooth and clean. Very enjoyable to play. It’s been a while since a game has managed to retain my interest. Thank you for bringing out this game!

I love the game but the only problem I have is the sound won’t work for me!! I have the sound button on and I put my phone volume up and I can’t hear anything🤷‍♀️

Similar to In the Seom, this game is super fun and relaxing to play. I’ve always been a fan of cooking games, so it is nice to play one with such relaxing pace that is super cute at the same time. While I am a big fan of BTS, you don’t need to be an ARMY to enjoy this game!

So far this is the best cooking game I’ve played (will be deleting the others!). The storyline is very cute, I love the photcard collecting aspect and all of the little Easter eggs that have been included for ARMY!
My only critique so far is that in the TinyTan festival, the lightstick that appears and lights up after every round you play isn’t an ARMY b0mb which seems like a missed opportunity.

I’m an Army been one since early 2017 and I’ve always loved cooking games and when I found out they made this I immediately downloaded it and I got to say it was worth it the game is so cute and fun tiny tan are adorable I love the challenges cause I love cooking fast and the background music is so relaxing I love playing when I’m doing laundry it distracts me so overall AMAZING game

I really like the Idea and story of the game, but it is not for someone with horrible multitasking skills as you have to do multiple things at once, sometimes in less than a minute. I wish some of the tasks weren’t so difficult so early on, but overall it’s really fun and lots to do.

Also, SAVE YOUR GEMS you’ll need them so use them wisely🤧

Hi i'm a army since 2017 and seeing that bts making more and more games makes me really happy and good to know they wanting and showing other army's games and stuff i think this game is nice and cute specially the little members I really like this game this is something i could play to get stress and all my anger out and its really cute how the members are i enjoy this game alot and hope this can and probably will continue alot more and if yall making more bts games i would gladly get that game as well i just really enjoy this game and hope other armys will enjoy as well LOVE THIS GAME💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
