If you're looking for a super basic tracker, don't have many migraine symptoms, and don't use various treatment methods, HeadacheMigraineDiary would be great for you.
If you have more than a few default symptoms and take more than an OTC medication, then HeadacheMigraineDiary is not for you.
You can only record your highest pain level, there is no time tracker to record the length of your migraine, and if you want to track more than super basic symptoms or something that isn't just an OTC med, then you need to pay for a subscription.
If you're looking for a comprehensive headache/migraine tracker to actually track and compile data, this isn't what you're looking for.
If you just have some occasional migraines that don't have symptoms or require more than Tylenol or ibuprofen, HeadacheMigraineDiary will work just fine for you.
I have had migraines my entire life since I was a really small child and there isn’t anything I hate more than doing a headache journal. As if it’s not annoying enough to have to have migraines on almost a daily basis but having to track them just alway felt like a punishment. As I got older, I started doing it less and less and then as I started getting better care, I stopped all together. Flash forward to now and I’m using HeadacheMigraineDiary and don’t feel bothered by it. I like that it’s customizable, even the free version the preprogrammed symptoms work well but it’s nice to have the premium to add your own. The reports is a bit useless considering you can only issue reports within the last 7 days unless you pay. If you’re looking for something totally free, this isn’t for you, if you just need something to throw some dates to track, this will work fine but with the premium limitations, you get a whole lot more for managing your care.
I like the simplicity compared to other migraine trackers. It’s very intuitive and doesn’t require a lot of digging around through HeadacheMigraineDiary to figure it out. I like the direction HeadacheMigraineDiary is going in its development. It doesn’t ask endless questions like that purple hippy girl app.
I would like to see an option for the location of your migraine… left eye, right eye, forehead etc… If these additions were added to HeadacheMigraineDiary it would be just enough helpful information to make HeadacheMigraineDiary 5 stars. There’s a note section that could be used, but would prefer a check box or similar.
Does consistently track symptoms daily, but does not allowed to see how they change over the course of the day. I don’t know maybe the premium version does, but the free version does not. It does have the option to say if you treated with otc med, but not how often or what kind. I do like that it has the option to go back and fill in a day or edit a day. It says it can print the chart, which will come in handy for my next doctors appointment where I’m supposed to track migraines. It’s mastering me realize I do have more headaches than I’ve been admitting to myself.
I use HeadacheMigraineDiary to track my migranes so I can report any improvements or deteriorations to my doctor. There are helpful charts that show patterns over time. I like that it has a 1-10 scale and scales of symptoms which is very specific. The only thing I don’t like is the symptoms you can log are limited and you can’t change them without paying extra. Overall love it!
HeadacheMigraineDiary is laid out easy. Every time I’m logging a head ache or migraine is when I have one. The others ask a lot of spurious questions or not very intuitive to fill out. When my head hurts I don’t have the patience for anything, especially to screw around with filling out something simple. I can log my info in 10 seconds and be done. The other thing is the charts are laid out really nice. I’ve had HeadacheMigraineDiary for two months now and am seeing trends of when I get hit. Maybe now I can find a way to avoid them.
If you’re looking for a quick, simple migraine diary this is it!!!! If you’re having a headache, you don’t wanna have to put in all this info that all the other apps ask. HeadacheMigraineDiary asks the simple stuff regarding symptoms while you are on a migraine attack. It literally takes seconds to put info in. The notes at the bottom help as well to type out what triggers may have caused it or any notes you may need to communicate to your doctor. This is the only migraine diary/tracking app you need!! And trust me I have downloaded lots!!
I have migraines and headaches from IiH, Chiari Malformation for over 50 years. I finally found a neurologist that specializes in headache treatment. HeadacheMigraineDiary has been helpful for me to track my pain symptoms and add prompts that are unique to me and help me to discern which headache disorder is causing the pain at that time. Treatment methods can also be added. HeadacheMigraineDiary has been particuarly helpful for me to discern that a new treatment I am undergoing has been working and the tracking shows that my situation has improved. I am looking forward to showing my neurologist the charts at my next appointment.
I don’t suffer from migraines, but I use HeadacheMigraineDiary to track tension headaches. My doctor suggested I keep a journal and track the headaches I was experiencing. I didn’t want to start a journal, I don’t have time for that, so I opted for HeadacheMigraineDiary instead. I like that I can write short and quick notes and the fact that it reminds me daily to track how I’ve been feeling is a huge plus. Without that reminder I wouldn’t be consistent with it. It’s a much faster and convenient way to track the headaches than having a headache journal. Great app!
Love that you can customize your symptoms and treatments helping to identify what is working and what is not. Having a place to write notes allows you to document the odd (potential new) symptom and/or what may be going on in your day to day life that could be a potential trigger (ie weather, activity, etc) Being able to pull charts/data and share with my doctors is very helpful. I have been using HeadacheMigraineDiary in combination with a food log to identify triggers, finally starting to get control over my vestibular migraines. Strongly recommend.
In a world where nothing comes easy when you have a migraine, this one seems fairly easy. An addition that would be brilliant, add the ability to tag the local weather (temp, humidity, barometric pressure). I did add "extreme heat," "extreme cold," "rain," and "high humidity" to the symptoms. I added the different medications and treatments like ice, moist heat, laying down, and eye mask. Hopefully I can catch a pattern that is weather related but that doesn't seem to be the case thus far. Though worse on bad weather days.
I love HeadacheMigraineDiary because it’s so easy to use. I have another app installed and I couldn’t stand the million questions it would ask me about me migraines. When I’m having a migraine the last thing I want is to stare at my phone answering the same questions. My migraines are always the same so it gets repetitive. I found HeadacheMigraineDiary and decided to try it and I love it so much more. It’s simple, only asks you the important stuff, and is quick. I’m in and out within a minute depending how much I write in the notes section. So if there’s anything different I’ll make note there. I also make note of my mood so it has a double use. I would definitely recommend it!
I love HeadacheMigraineDiary for tracking my migraines. I’ve had migraines since I was 6 years old and I’m 22 now. It allows me to keep up with my symptoms, severity, meds that were taken, how long the attack lasted, and I like to use the notes section to write a detailed description of the attack that day. It’s helped me realize that every single attack I’ve had, the pain has been on the right side, what meds are efficient, how long it lasted, etc. I definitely recommend!
Having used many different migraine tracking apps, I tried this new Migraine Tracker app to simplify my migraine tracking. It is SO EASY to use, offering quick and efficient tracking of symptoms and treatments. The report function offers an excellent overview of pain levels, associated symptoms, and medications taken. Color coding makes HeadacheMigraineDiary visually appealing. I recently contacted the developer with a question and received a prompt reply. So far, I am very impressed with this new app. Thanks Adam!
I highly recommend HeadacheMigraineDiary if you are looking to keep track of migraines. Accepting notifications in settings, HeadacheMigraineDiary will occasionally ask you about your migraines. The thought of keeping track doesn’t ever happen. It happens to be when I have a migraine, HeadacheMigraineDiary checks on me. When I have a migraine I accept the notification and document. I enjoy HeadacheMigraineDiary very much.
This migraine app is simple, intuitive, and highly effective for tracking and managing migraines. It allows you to easily log symptoms, triggers, and treatments, and provides helpful insights over time. The clean interface and quick entry process make it accessible, and symptoms can be added. Perfect for anyone looking to manage their migraines with minimal hassle. Highly recommend!
What I like about HeadacheMigraineDiary as compared to others is the ease of use when having a migraine. With other apps it seems they are asking you so many questions and I just want to track simple data: pain level, meds, and associated symptoms. This does that and also allows for notes and updating.
Was looking for an easy migraine tracker to present to my doctor and I was just thinking about frequency only and not other factors. HeadacheMigraineDiary also asks for severity ratings and tracks various symptoms. I appreciate the chance to record medications used and notes on the day. Will be very helpful at my next appointment.
I have been looking for a migraine tracking app but the top rated ones are insanely pricey. HeadacheMigraineDiary lets me track things daily and importantly I canmodify symptoms and treatments. I add my triggers to the treatments so I can see what triggers migraines and what helps them. Hopeful this will help me get my migraines under control by better understanding my triggers and treatments.
This Migraine Tracker is amazing! I liked it for years on the free version, but the premium is truly worth it to be able to customize symptoms and treatments to track. I love the ability to create a report to take to your doctor, and it has changed the way I present my symptom history to my healthcare providers. With the premium version you can track an unlimited variety of symptoms and treatments you write in yourself. I have dropped other symptom tracking apps completely because this does everything I need.
I also recommend the Bipolar Tracker app by this developer, it helped me document my daily mood closely enough to be able to get a more accurate diagnosis.
