UHF Reviews

UHF seemed pretty good at first but has many issues. First complaint was that playlists don’t auto add EPG data like other IPTV apps, I had to manually link it. Second EPG data seems to stop refreshing after ~12 hours. Third EPG data in the now playing screen is static and stays stuck at the time of initial playback. Fourth iPadOS version on MacOS will start to have video stutters randomly after a stream has been opened over an hour. Fifth the TVos app crashes after five minutes anytime UHF attempts to sync, or even add a playlist, and without actually adding anything making the TV app useless. UHF came recommended to me and does serve great for light use, but I’ve paid for pro and expected to have it running all day, but it does not seem capable especially with various bugs across the iOS, iPadOS, and TVos apps I seem to encounter ever few hours.

UHF happens to be the best available for watching your IPTV service on AppleTV. It’s relatively easy to configure, and navigation is straightforward. It is stable and streams in 4k if it’s available.

It falls short in a couple of areas however - in particular when watching movies and shows in a series. There should be a way to mark entire seasons of a series as watched without having to go to every episode. There also needs to be a section for “New Episodes” so that it keeps track of your favorite shows and displays an area where new episodes are available without having to go in and check each series to see if something new has been released.

It would be nice to have more than one “favorites” list as well - so you could have a favorites for news, sports, nature, etc.

All in all, this is a very good app and the best that’s currently available - it would be good to see them continue to develop and enrich the capabilities.

UHF fixed my buffering issue with its built in VPN, it’s nice not having to turn it on and off when I exit UHF . The only thing it’s missing that some other apps have, is showing what is currently playing on each channel. All UHF displays is “Programs not available.” I will change to 5 stars if this is added!

UHF is perfect!!! I love it to the level i paid 35 bucks for it cuz its efficient and easy to use and it has PiP feature!!!
However;
If i watch a movie or an episode to the end then I want to watch it again, I have to tap on each individual episodes then press watched and snd then press unwatched. Which is frustrating. And there is no contact email or anything to reach you guys…!!! Please fix

I’ve been using a competitors app for a couple years and really enjoy it. However, I wanted to branch out and test some others to compare. I really like the interface of this app but my one complaint so far is the favorites list. Can we add least recent added channels to favorites? My other app allows this and if we could add to this app I would definitely use more often. Btw I did purchase the lifetime license to show support. Thanks

Finally found the best IPTV app for my Apple TV. UHF does everything I want with my IPTV service and easily lets me customize screens to fit my use. It’s reliable and has great image quality when broadcasting playlists.

My only gripe so far is that scrolling through a film or series is impossible for me. I can open and play a file like normal, but if I try to scroll to any specific time in the film/series the player will freeze and become unusable. In some cases it will load the frame of the timestamp I select, but the video will not play from there. I can only watch the file from the beginning. Please let me know if there is an easy resolution for this on Apple TV.

Note: this usually happens on KSPlayer. VLCKit seems to be more stable for starting up the video file and scrolling through it.

This is one of the best apps available. Reliable and fast, search feature is incredibly accurate. I would give is 5 stars however there are a few key features that it lacks……Update for TV series new episodes and episode program descriptions. I highly recommend UHF.

UHF is really good! But there is a few things that would make UHF great and become the number one app in this department.

1. Multi-view for iPhone. I believe they have it for the iOS tv version but not on iPhone

2. Being able to scroll through the channel list overtop of the channel being watched so I can still listen/watch the video while scrolling through the channel list. More often than not I don’t find a better channel and end up sticking with what I was already on. I’m sure this is on the iOS tv too but when it comes to the iPhone this is a must too.

I've tried several IPTV apps, and this one has the best looking interface of them all. Love it!

There are a couple things I don't like:

1) When I exit/back out of a show I'm watching it goes back to the guide (which is what I want it to do), but instead of actually being in the guide it's on the "refresh" button at the top left - so I have to move down/over to actually be in the guide. Not sure if this is a "bug" or a "feature," but I'd rather it be in the guide so I don't have to move over to it before I start scrolling through to find something new to watch.

2) I'd like to have the ability to hide channels, just like I can hide categories. If there's a way to hide channels I haven't found it.

Other than those two things I haven't found anything I would consider to be a "dislike" about UHF!

Best IPTV app for the apple ecosystem hands down. I used to pipe xteve into plex to make things look this tidy and simple. Unfortunately I now have to use two apps, one for media server and another for live TV. This is a small price to pay compared to the price increase in standard live tv streaming services charging upwards of $90 a month. No brainer to support the dev and buy a lifetime subscription. Thanks for your work.

First review I’ve written but in a space that has far to many short comings UHF is absolutely the closest thing on the market to check all of the boxes. For my personal experience if it had two added features it would be hands down perfection. Something I’m sure isn’t easy in programming but a video preview box on the epg screen and being able to increase the font size of the epg would make UHF perfect for my use but even without these add one it’s absolutely one of if not the best apps in this space.

Over the past three years, I’ve tried seven other platforms on UHF Store to manage my IPTV subscription and this app stands out as the absolute best for several reasons.

First and foremost, I use my IPTV subscription on two devices: an iPad and an Apple TV 4K, and this app works seamlessly on both.

Secondly, this app integrates a third-party VPN (Angel VPN) within the platform, which simplifies managing my IPTV subscription.

Thirdly, this app’s Electronic Program Guide (EPG), also known as the channel guide, has consistently improved. For the past 2 weeks it has worked flawlessly.

Fourthly, this app’s developers have been consistently updating, improving, and adding new features to UHF , which is impressive considering their commitment to keeping the subscription price low.

I could go on and on about this app’s exceptional features, but the best way to experience it for yourself is to try it out. Personally, I subscribe to this app monthly. Initially, I used UHF for a few days and then decided to purchase the optional Angel VPN subscription within the this app app. Since trying this app, my IPTV experience has been nothing short of excellent, without any issues.

I’ve tried many other apps, this one is the least buggy, most fluid app I’ve used. The dev is doing this in his spare time and is clearly an amazing dev. I can’t believe how good it is already and it’s going to get better. I bought the lifetime sub after using it for a month. To the dev - thank you so much for your hard work, it is very much appreciated!

I came back to update my review and give it 5 stars. There is a bit of a learning curve. Once I spent enough time with UHF I figured everything out. I love having my play lists synced across devices. The performance is great and I would recommend this over other IPTV apps. Just a bit of a learning curve for me. The only thing I would like to see is to be able to long press categories and add a whole category to favorites instead of individual channels. If UHF is kept up to date I'll become a lifetime member. Great work!

Love the interface. I've used smarters, iptvx, and some others, but this has been the cleanest (in my opinon) of them all. Just depends on your needs but one of my fav features for sure is when you are wattching you can click the icon for a side tv guide. So convenient. Great job and keep it up!

Quality design, active development, multi-platform use, and fair pricing make UHF stand out far above the rest. Thank you for making a lifetime price option. Thank you for making it available for iOS, iPadOS, and even macOS (though it seems like it might be the iPad version, but still, not enough developers support this!)

I have recommended UHF to anyone needing an IPTV client that has an Apple device. I hope the dev never changes their philosophy when it comes to pricing and continued support of their application, because we truly need more apps of this caliber.

Beautiful app. The playlist Managment is amazing, and the color coding and icon is great and makes it easy to switch.

It’s rare to see this level of support form the developer. Incredibly responsive and fast replies over Discord. This is an app that truly stands out and will only get better with community feedback.

This is an excellent app that does exactly what you expect of it and does it very well. There is also an AppleTv app that I’ve been using for the past two months and I recommend it as well. The developer works very hard on these apps and it’s very much appreciated.

I have been looking for an app where I’m able to watch on my Apple devices and UHF is the one. This is honestly the best IPTV app out there. I’m am able to watch on an iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. Thank you for creating UHF I would 100% recommend downloading UHF now.

I've used them all - you name the player, I've owned it. this app most resembles the interface you'd find with a traditional media provider. The colors are beautiful, meticulously crafted to appear as if it was a native app. The integration between all my devices is seamless; with this app tvOS being my favorite. Competition players are clunky & cumbersome. this app only has the options you need, everything else is set to maximize your viewing experience.
