I cant answer new questions cause it’s telling me there’s an error. I spam the retry button but it still tells me there’s an error. I deleted Checkmate and restarted my phone but it still is telling me there’s an error. Please fix this, I’m obsessed with Checkmate but now this is torture not being able to answer questions.

My app must have been broken for about a month now. Nothing will load on any tab, no matter how good my wifi or data is. The first time I noticed this issue, I went to the email they suggested I reach out to to report it. I have yet to receive a response from them, despite that first email being three weeks ago, and sending an additional three emails. They tell us they want our feedback, but won’t help when I express that I’m having an issue with Checkmate .

I think Checkmate is really fun, and I would love to actually use it. However every time I download it after a certain period of time it tells me that I haven’t done my onboarding questions (I have) and doesn’t let me rescan with anyone. I’ve had this same problem twice now, and the first time I deleted my account by and made another one, which worked for a while but the problem started up again. I want to use Checkmate ! It just won’t let me

the developers of Checkmate must be children or must've made this as a weekend project. why does it not give you the option to invite people tht aren't in your contacts or have some alternative way to invite or share with friends? isn't that the whole point? user experience is terrible. L app.

I was able to answer a new set of questions once, but when I tried answering a new set of questions it would say “Error Try Again.” I’ve tried closing Checkmate and reopening it, and I’ve even deleted it and redownloaded Checkmate but it still says the same thing!

Checkmate is very hard to work with just on a practical level; it glitches out and sometimes puts scans up twice, very cluttered list of matches, etc. I think it could be structured better. Also my survey screen just says “error” after 10 minutes of using app.

please make a way to chnage answers, i accidentally clicked the wrong choice and was stuck with it and it most likely threw off some important info cause it was a loaded questioncm, one of the most influential. why is there not a way to change answers!! would have to make a whole new account just to see accurate results

Great app! I noticed two bugs in the past week. It won’t let me invite anyone to Checkmate or search anyone, so I can’t add anyone new anymore. It also won’t give me a new score when rescanning some of my friends, even after we’ve both answered new questions. It just says new scan not available or something.

Fun interactive not the most accurate tho like why doesn’t it take into account Valorant stats? Like I’m a vandal main my friend’s a phantom main and it says we’re 95% similar. That’s impossible. Please revise.

I love the way Checkmate is set up, but I would like to see some more privacy options regarding who can view your scan refreshes, maybe limit it to a friends only or maybe even allow users to create a list of people that are able to view their scan refresh updates. I don’t like the fact that I can see even my friend’s friends compatibilities that I am not connected to, and they can see my friends friends.

Very fun app! I like answering these sorts of questions and knowing what my friends think too. I think the point of agreement feature is quite interesting, but I would like to see a point of disagreement feature too. It could prompt some interesting discussion and healthy debate among friends!

The undo feature is limited to only the most recent question, and the KP categories are vague with minimal info on feature/variable importance. Overall cool concept but would be nice to get deeper looks at the areas of compatibility that are being measured and which questions go into them

I can’t see some of the options on the screen because it’s optimized for bigger phones :( I wish they would change that or at least have a settings button to adjust the ratio

theres an error on my question screen. i can’t get it to load or see any of the questions at all :( i dont know if i should delete Checkmate or redownload but i’m sad about it. please fix so i can see more questions :(((

I love Checkmate it usually works well, but I am at the point where almost all of my friends have stopped working. I just can’t rescan them, it will let me press the button but it doesn’t actually do it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but it did not fix it. I also have the issue with if I press the send all button, it tells me some of my people on the list are not my friends, but I have scans with them. Along with the issue of not being able to rescan, I have a few notifications from people who have scanned me that do not go away when I view them, and I can’t rescan them. These issues unfortunately make it really hard to use Checkmate since most of my friends don’t work anymore. I do love Checkmate when it is working though!

It’s super interesting to see what % you are with different people. It’s not always who you expect. My whole gc got on it, it was fun to see how we stacked up. It feels like the whole school got on it in two days, it was kind of insane. All my friends were checking their scores with me. My boy got a 99.5% with his gf but only a 56% with his ex. And a girl I know got her highest score with her RA lol. Idk if it’s gonna last, but right now it’s one of those world stopping things here. It’s really cool to be in it.

neat little app for young people to think about their personality types for funsies!! not perf but fun and cool ui/ux and features (streaks! pin friends!) thanks this app!

Literally became obsessed with Checkmate since my friend showed it. I’m trying to get all my friends on it the only thing I would say for them to add is an option to scan out of camera roll 😭 for us long distance friends we can’t scan irl and it’s a pain having to put up the codes on another screen to add my friends. But I love this concept and I will keep using Checkmate!

Love Checkmate . But I deleted the account and wanted to make a new one but it wouldn’t let me login to make a new one. Maybe a new account system is needed

Can we have an enhancement added to have the option to send questions to all friends instead of individually clicking on each friend?

- plz allow the ability to change profile photo to emoji of choice - have each questionnaire add towards a more accurate prediction, vs a new % from scratch each time - ability to guess what your match guessed, to see how your guess compared to reality /// Currently you need to scan 2x in a row to see the latest % which is odd /// Cluttered hierarchy in the finished questionnaire screen

Checkmate is too fun hahaha I have an exam next week and I should be studying but I’m spending all my time answering these questions and rescanning my friends 😊😅
