I was already annoyed that for some inexplicable reason the developer thinks its a good idea to put emoji in the subject line of the emails that WhisperMemos sends. When I see emoji in a subject line, it immediately looks like spam to me. I don't think I've ever gotten a legitimate email with emoji in the subject. But then he takes it even further and, since he has your email address in order for WhisperMemos to work, he apparently also assumes his must be an invitation to blast you with actual spam.

It's a cool idea for an app, maybe someone will make a version that isn't so irritating.

WhisperMemos is incredible, in that it's the first to understand the true value of Whisper : taking it with you. The watch integration is brilliant. (Honestly It's amazing that nobody else has figured this out.) Unfortunately, as things currently stand it feels like a neat beta that shows you how good things _could_ be. I don't want my memos emailed to me, I want them to show up in the software I write memos in, which in my case is Drafts. The developer seems to understand this, and is offers limited Zapier functionality, but Zapier is expensive and limited and I wasn't able to get my first memo to even show up. The developer has a head start on everyone else and if they integrate iCloud (let me pick my folder!) we're off to the races. I look forward to seeing where this heads.

After I downloaded WhisperMemos , it prompted me to sign into my email. I put my email in receive a login link and when I opened up the link from the email I received, it doesn’t register in WhisperMemos . I’m not sure if this is a user error or if the current version has a bug.

Appreciation and Suggestions for the Whisper AI iOS App

First off, a huge thank you to WhisperMemos developers for integrating Whisper AI into an iOS app notes system. It's commendable how Whisper's artificial intelligence LLM has been seamlessly adapted for a mobile-friendly user experience. WhisperMemos is certainly a must-download for its innovation and utility.

Feedback on Duration:
The current transcription window is capped at 15 minutes, which, in my experience, is a tad limiting. Extending this duration would greatly enhance user convenience and application versatility.

Feature Suggestion:
An additional enhancement I'd recommend is the ability to transcribe external voice memos and recordings directly into WhisperMemos . This functionality would provide significant value by allowing users to convert pre-existing audio files into text, bypassing the need to record voice notes directly through WhisperMemos .

Closing Thoughts:
Aside from the points mentioned, WhisperMemos truly stands out. Great job to everyone involved in its development. Your efforts are making a tangible difference, and I eagerly look forward to future updates. Keep up the excellent work!

WhisperMemos is quite nice, and I like that this developer is continually adding features and quality of life improvements. One thing that I’m waiting on is the ability to remove the footer from emails. I don’t know why my emails need to be a big ad for WhisperMemos when I’ve already paid for it.

I would have given this 5 stars, were it not the expense of using the "pro" version. You only get a few recordings on the free version before needing to switch.

In order to really use an app like this, it must become your "go to" app for recording messages. Unfortunately, that means you must use the "pro" version.

Whisper Memos has become an almost indispensable tool for capturing thoughts and ideas quickly. There is much more it can do, but for my use case, between the phone and watch, it is the best way to quickly capture things. And the support and progress from the developer is excellent.

I have tested three AI transcription apps, and Whisper Memos is the clear winner for its smooth and accurate performance. Some may not appreciate its emailing feature, but that is precisely what helps you remember what you recorded.

I’ve used several different voice memo transcription apps in the best and this is the most simple and just does what I need it to do. I use it daily. The automatic email function is perfect and throws it into Drafts for further processing.

This has been an eminently useful tool to quickly turn my thoughts into text. The developer is super helpful and has been very responsive whenever I’ve had an issue or a question. Highly recommended!

I have been using Whisper Memos on both my iPhone and Apple Watch for about six months. It's a perfect way to quickly jot down a quick reminder, note, or even a license plate number. Whisper has MUCH BETTER UNDERSTANDING of words than Siri! -Are you listening, Apple?

Whisper Memo is a simple, easy-to-use app. I have it on my Lock Screen and Apple Watch. One quick press and you’re recording whatever you wish. Then, the message is translated to text and shows up in your email. It’s great for reminders, shopping lists, etc. Apple’s recording app is good too but WhisperMemos handles transcibing your audio messages.

If I were to request an app that had everything I needed, I would have to go no further than Whisper Memos. It is easy to use and the dictation part is seamless. I think in all the memos I created it was close to 100% accurate. And my voice is not the best.

I wanted something that would work at night when I thought of a task I needed to complete in the morning. It was so easy to have the widget on my lock screen and quickly dictate the required information.

If I could purchase only one app, this would be it.

I have been using a popular and effective non-AI app to record and transcribe voice memos. I usually used a second app on my Mac to retranscribe with AI. It worked.

But then I demoed Whisper Memos. I tap the icon on my watch or lock screen, record the message, and WhisperMemos takes care of the rest. It automatically emails the transcription to Drafts, where I can access it on all my devices. Drafts automatically adds a tag to keep the transcriptions separate from other Drafts files.

This is a big improvement over my previous process. With Whisper Memos, instead of waiting for an AI transcription every time, now the transcriptions are waiting for me. WhisperMemos does exactly what I need.

I’m a huge fan of Whisper Memos. I am regularly in situations with my hands full or in the middle of something and being able to quickly capture a voice note and close WhisperMemos and know that I’ll have my transcript waiting for me in the email inbox when I get to my desk is one of my favorite pieces of magic these new technologies have provided

WhisperMemos comes in handy everywhere. In the middle of the night and you have an idea, boom, talk to your watch. No need to turn on the lights, grab paper or device and be forced to wake up; not anymore, just talk into your watch. Ideas come anytime and anyplace; never forget anything ever again. Have the idea and in seconds it appears in your mail to address and act upon it. Thank you Whisper Memos!!

I went on a journey following my grandfather's diary when he became a refugee 85 years ago. I was able to use Whisper Memos to capture my thoughts and my interviews with the grandchildren (now in theeir 80s) of the people who were mentioned in the diary. It was amazing to be able to capture my thoughts on the fly as well as use it for interviews. I had one issue and the developer resonded within an hour and fixed it! It's a great app and was a great experience. I will continue to use it for sure.

i’ve been using this for several months now and it’s absolutely awesome. I love how quickly I can record my thoughts on my phone or Apple Watch. And a zapier integration? Amazing. If I think of a note for an agenda item, I can set to Notion to put it on my next meeting agenda notes. Do I have something I need my husband to take care of? I can put a key phrase in the message and an email is sent to him instead of me. Absolutely love what you can do with this.

When I first downloaded whisper I was unsure how much I was going to use it. I was worried itd be one of those apps I open once and forget about. But, that was not the case. It has been a week and I've recorded nearly 50 memos. From items for my grocery list, things to do around the house, marketing campaigns for my startups, and more. It has been perhpas he most effective way for me to capture the millions of things that pass through my head everyday in a quick and efficent manner. It is barebones which is perfect, no need to overcomplicate it. For someone like me that is always on the road, traveling and just generally busy whisper fits in perfectly with my needs.

WhisperMemos is really good. It’s certainly useful in my day today for capturing what comes up in the moment. I especially like the Apple Watch integration. I have a couple things that I would like to see implemented better but I’m not sure if this is Whisper Memo’s fault or the Drafts App that receives the automatic transcriptions. I tend to have some syncing issues such as a single recording being duplicated into multiple slightly differently structured recordings/memos. This makes my job a bit more tedious when later processing these memos in Drafts. Also, sometimes there is a delay in uploading the memos from my Apple Watch, which seems to be resolved if I tap the upload button and also open the Whisper Memos app on the iPhone. Again, this is an excellent tool. I’m happy I have it and will keep using it hoping the sync issues can resolve.
