Is there a timeline for NY City to be available?

Does not let me get a route correctly

The full screen ads that hijack Mapway make this pretty much useless if you need to check which train direction to take if you are not from the area and need to confirm which train direction to take.

Difficult to use

Unless you were at your leaving destination right now, Mapway is useless. You can’t plan out a departure time.

I tried planning a route for the next day. It kept defaulting to today. Very frustrating.

Awful app. Too slow too many ads.

Nothing is connected

Maybe I’m using this incorrectly, but I can only plug in the names of transit stops rather than street (intersections), major attractions, or businesses. That’s fine for those who already the area, but not terribly useful for visitors.

Mapway is terrible. Only has a few preloaded sites in it. Just use Google and you’ll have a much better time

All difficult to use.

Some stations in some huge cities can have 18 different lines going through them. Those stations are HUGE and getting from point A to B can be the real issue when transfering. This will be especially true if you do not understand the foreign language. Another thing that should be included is where do you purchase your ticket and the many many ways you can pay for it.

Yes Mapway does what it is meant to do, but it is full of ads and is quite bloated. The UI is also very slow.

Mapway could be great…I wish it showed you the full route from your starting location to your destination, rather than just the metro rail routes

Good overall but ads can be annoying at times.

I had the previous app Seoul Metro and this is a great upgrade. It’s has so convenient and has information outside of just the metro. Highly recommend Mapway

It is useful for someone who knows very little Korean.

I’d previously purchased one of the specific city apps, and they deprecated it in favor of the more universal application that supports all cities. It does work really well. I frequent three different cities with subway systems and I use this map to get around them every time I travel to them. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants offline system maps that simply won’t fail. :)

Moving here soon so I am using Mapway to move around using transit. So far it’s working very well and easy to follow. If it continues to serve me well, I will definitely upgrade!
