Tour Tracker Pro Cycling Reviews

I rarely give app reviews. But I’ve been using Tour Tracker for years now, and they have really stepped up their game in 2020. New features such as gradients on climbs and the “time machine” feature to stream your data as if it’s live during a race replay are fantastic. SOOO much data is available through just a few clicks.

If you are a pro cycling fan, TourTrackerProCycling is indispensable! It is essential as a companion to watching the race, or just following along with events if you can’t stream video where you’re at. It’s literally the first thing I look at when I wake up each morning of a big race.

There is a nominal annual subscription to get most of the races (two tiers of subscription - with the most expensive being about US$10 per year). Pay the subscription - if you love pro cycling, you won’t be disappointed.

Great tour tracking app...I’ve been using it for a number of years to follow the tour when I’m not watching and listening to Phil and Paul. TourTrackerProCycling gives me all the concise information at my finger tips anytime I want so I’m not a slave to my television. And lastly, TourTrackerProCycling is feature rich to suit most of your tracking needs. TourTrackerProCycling is worth the modest price of admission...buy it.

TourTrackerProCycling is worth every penny...and they charge so few. It’s an essential tool for following races live when you can’t watch them and for statistical data, standings, etc. It gets better every year and subscribers are often rewarded with bonus race coverage. Highly recommended.

Tour Tracker is a great way to follow the major races. It’s got all the maps,profiles, live updates and standings. Well worth the small price to upgrade.

My only complaint is that they don’t cover more races. Subscribe folks and they can add more.

TourTrackerProCycling is well worth the pro subscription every year. There is a ton of data available. TourTrackerProCycling is a great companion for watching live, but also allows you to check race details when watching replays without spoiling the results. And it’s always improving!

I wrote to the developer on a Saturday with a question about how the “reverse distance markers” feature worked, which turned into a feature request after he replied the same day clarifying the existing behavior. The new feature (also reversing the distance labels over climbs/sprints) was released the next day.

I’m spending roughly $100/year and dozens of hours to watch these races on TV. The couple bucks for a Pro subscription is a no-brainer.

I love TourTrackerProCycling ! Lots of features, stage profile is a favorite of mine. Every team, rider, country, specialty and fantasy! My brothers and I have all made teams the last few years for the Tour de France. One thing missing in fantasy is a breakdown of points per rider per day. Keep up the great work.

Great app to keep up with the Tour de France and many of the major races and classics. Great notifications if you can't utilize your phone at work or elsewhere but if you can, so many features to keep you updated minute by minute. I have used this both in Europe and the US. Well worth the upgrade and download.

Decent for following races but you keep saying you have new information for upcoming races but when I do the update and open TourTrackerProCycling I see no change..And you already took my money..I'm used to this kind of stuff now though..just another rip off..which is why I don't pay for apps anymore.

It continues to improve every year and responsive to input from the users. It is the best for being able to answer all our questions while watching races live. It is so well organized and easy to navigate-full of information not available anywhere else in one app.

I just dragged my Tour Tracker icon out of the folder it sits in 11 months of the year and put it on my iPad desktop. This is the only Tour de France app I’ve ever needed. The stage maps are first rate. Many other cycle races are covered, also. Race data in my app is cumulative-I have pictures, maps and commentary back to the 2013 Tour (that’s how long I’ve had TourTrackerProCycling).

What a great app that has been my “go-to” place for cycling results. Awesome up to the minute social updates, profiles, race results, and Fantasy Racing. Kept believing I was the number one selector in my own mind... don’t think I got out of the 400’s in points during the 2018 season.
This will be my first purchase for 2019!

Love TourTrackerProCycling, live updates, you can see and follow the tour wether watching it live or not. Great addition to your tour experience when you are watching TV and following TourTrackerProCycling at the same time. Great news and updates that really compliments the TV commentary. Thanks for continually tweaking and updating TourTrackerProCycling, love the fantasy racing as well!

This is a great app for getting info on stages and results. The fantasy section adds a little more excitement to races. I've paid for the pro version at least twice and will continue. I like how the same app platform is used across several races.

The developer is often adding new features. Supports has been very quick and helpful for my questions and comments.

This is a gem of an application for cyclopaths like myself.

It has great live commentary and coverage as well as excellent stats. I feel completely informed about the Tour de France and enjoy following it.

Notifications of race start or 5K to finish are great too, especially when I'm at work and can't be glued to the screen.

It's definitely worth paying for the PRO version (one time fee and quite inexpensive).

One last thing, TourTrackerProCycling has a fantasy team feature for tours like TdF. Even though I took an oath never to play fantasy sports, I'm actually enjoying this feature.

If you are reading this and thinking about whether or not this so is worth the effort, just get it and then pay for the PRO version. Done!

If you are a real bike racing fan you have to have TourTrackerProCycling. So easy to reference info on stages, standings, riders, whatever, and a great live feed that gives you the big picture in so many ways. Can’t say enough and if I tried this post would go on forever. For the price just try it and never look back. The road will decide.

TourTrackerProCycling has just about everything you’d want if you’re following a bike race on your IOS device. The cross reference connections between riders, teams, and countries are great, as are the race-state representations by blog post, current textual statistics, and graphical map and hill profile. In fact, I generally prefer following on Tour Tracker to any of the Web sites available on a desktop computer.

I enjoy following the live feed on so many races. Clara Is absolutely creative and insightful in her commentary. They have added a number of races for coverage over the years which is super. I love picking a fantasy team and using all of features in the program to follow my riders during the race. You can’t beat the cost for so much information and entertainment

I have always enjoyed watching the Tour de France, but never really understood all of the ins and outs of how the race works with its nuances and different strategies.

TourTrackerProCycling has helped me get so much more out of watching pro cycling it is unbelievable! It’s a great tool to educate viewers and fans on how racing works and why teams/riders do certain things they do. Not to mention the ability to track the races in real time various ways!

I was so impressed again this season with all the information available from this inexpensive app! I used it in conjunction with the $50 live feeds from NBC, and the two beautifully complemented each other.
Clara Beard’s feeds and the photos that accompanied them were very well done, kept up with the action and added savory tidbits of rider, team and stage information as well.
Most used by me were the several ways of looking up individual riders, by name, bib, country and team.

TourTrackerProCycling is essential for any cycling fan and well worth the upgrade. Covering every detail and aspect of the cycling grand tours, and a few bonus races, including a few ladies races which I think is fabulous. Always improving and expanding capabilities Tour Tracker is responsive to their users needs. They also have a new Fantasy team feature which is so much fun for avid fans. A must for on road spectators for live updates, race situations, live maps, and more. If you want video coverage then NBCSports Gold app is good for that, but bring $$$. Tour Tracker is a great value comparatively, providing more detail and insight at a fraction on the cost. Well worth a free trial to see for yourself.

Absolutely fantastic app when it works properly. However lately the news hasn’t been working for race commentary, even when hours after the stage is already over. If this gets fixed, TourTrackerProCycling instantly becomes a 5-Star app. It’s frustrating to have paid for the in-race “news” commentary only for it to not work.

I don’t know what I’d do without TourTracker.
Even when we’re watching TV coverage, I rely on TT to help fill in details that the on-air commentator may not have mentioned, a view into where they are on the course, the profile, the standings, on and on and on.
I also like being able to scan the news of a stage when I join late, to see if I’ve missed anything major (because let’s face it, you don’t always want to wake up at 4 am to catch the full stage).
It’s also a MUST-have when watching a race in person. Without it, you’re just another person watching the peloton Zoom by and thinking “meh”.
As a fan of pro cycling, it’s indispensable.
It’s also a great tool for people who want to get more insight to the sport, and become bigger fans.

TourTrackerProCycling is a perfect companion to watching live. Catch up on all the action without having to watch for hours. Also makes it easy to keep track of riders, especially useful on stages with lots of groups. Interesting and insightful commentary too!
