Essential tool for hardcore memorization

I’ve tried a number of tools in Audipo Store for doing memorization of a monologue parentheses more than 15 minutes of individual dialogue). Audipo is by far the most efficient and effective one to use. I did purchase so that my files would be loaded all together and it would remember my place. I found that worth a few bucks.

The ability to add placeholders and move between and easily and loop small sections or large sections continuously makes it very efficient to memorize. Audipo has been position as a music memorization in training app, for which is also very effective. But I have found it equally effective and ideally suited for doing narrative memorization as well.

Audipo could use a little bit more in the how to use it category, but the small icons are simple enough to figure out what they mean and once you push the buttons enough times you know their function. It would be helpful if there were a locked mode where The buttons are larger and all you were doing who is moving between them rather than seeing most of the screen real estate go to the overall view of the final in the placeholders.

Great for capturing notes

...in talks or lectures where I need go back to pick up on more details for the notes I’m taking. It’s very easy to find any timing spots I marked in my notes to hear again. I also like the feature that speeds up the voice - it’s a great time saver. The yellow arrows are also a great feature for going back to key points. If they ever add just one or more colors to these arrows - that would be great for highlighting the most important points. But Audipo is great for how I use it.

Disappointed

I purchased the pro version because they advertised it would save my spot during play back. It does not do that, at least I can not get it to work for me. I purchased this to listen to lectures, or other recordings. Some of these recordings are quite long and when Audipo fails to save your spot in the middle of a two hour lecture, it is extremely frustrating and not worth continuing to use. Also, there is no way to skip forward or backwards, let’s say 10 to 30 seconds at a time to try to find where you left off. You have to manually use the slider which is not precise and frustrating. It’s very important to be able to easily find where you left off, Audipo fails at that. I do like the ability to adjust playback speed incrementally, but not being able to pick up where you left off easily is a deal breaker.

More than I expected

Audipo is perfect for what I needed, and even better than I expected. All I wanted was something to play my voice recordings a bit faster. However this does that in more, plus it is really easy to use. I can’t even find any instructions, but I don’t need them! LOL I like the way it bookmarks places I want to go back to and lets me easily move back and forth.

Great for lectures

Really appreciate Audipo, it has saved me from having to convert lectures into an audiobook format. Sound quality is really good, and its overall a great app.

Would appreciate a legend or directions for what the various buttons do. And an option to playback 10, 15, 30 seconds would be great. For what I’ve been listening too it I can rewind or jump full tracks. The bars make jumping back possible and pretty easy, but I think a skip back button option would be better for driving.

Really Disappointed

I paid for the pro model, only because the basic app didn’t do simple things like keep your place of where you last left off, no pausing from headphones, etc.

I bought 1 year of the pro, and Audipo could be so much better. There’s no multi device listening, so if you go between and iPhone and iPad it isn’t smart enough to link up to where you ended previously. Also, if you pause with headphones once, THAT’S ALL YOU GET. You get one headphone pause, and then the headphones are unresponsive. Same exact problem with the lock screen.

You also should go in with the mindset of never touching your screen with Audipo open. If a strong gust of wind hits your phone Audipo will jump to one of the many lines while playing your file.

A lot left to be desired, especially for a premium app, but the price is very affordable and I’d buy it every year if these things were fixed!

It works great for what I do with it.

I use it for lectures. I take a voice memo on my iPhone and share it with the this app app. In Audipo I can slow the lecture down or speed it up. I’m able to capture key points this way. It has a feature to add an arrow to key spots in the lecture to go back to for reference. I’ve never lost any of the lectures and it’s always worked.

Thanks

Thanks for making Audipo.

Would you please fix it so that it won’t ask me to select my file again after leaving Audipo for a few minutes? I currently use it to listen to a file while taking notes in my notes app. But when I return to Audipo to pause it it asks me to choose a file.

Great for audio lectures

My choice app for audio lectures, because:
A) it can increase the speed without distorting the pitch
B) the large area for marking and the ability create marks and move between them make it easy to review sections of the lecture.
A nice Help section would be useful; it took me a while to figure out how to use all the buttons.

Exactly what I needed

Audipo is exactly what I was looking for. I’m listening to a lot of audiobooks where the voiceover is too slow and by speeding up with Audipo is just perfect. Audipo is free and does what it’s supposed to. Also the ads are not overwhelming since it’s free usually you get too many ads but this is perfect. Thank you!

Therapy tool

This works well to slow music on my iTunes library. I work with children with speech and language disorders. Audipo slows the music, providing more opportunities for the children to understand and follow verbal prompts and sing along. I'm excited to try Audipo as I transcribe spontaneous speech/language samples!

Love it!

I love Audipo! I use it every day. Most audio programs I listen to our audiobooks and interviews. I used to have to open up audio programs in QuickTime 7, play them at an accelerated rate, for example 1.5 times normal speed, and capture the audio using AudioHijack. But now I don’t have to do that because of Audipo! I love it!

Works perfect. Upgrade idea?

Works absolutely awesome! Only problem is I use it for chapterized audiobooks. At my advanced speed I need to pull over more often to change chapters. Allowing an entire album or selecting multiple chapters would be epic! Thank you for making Audipo!

Please add a quick rewind feature

I use Audipo for language learning, usually while working out. I can’t fiddle with the bookmark buttons. Sometimes I just want to go back 10 or 15 or 30 seconds. There is no easy way to do so. It really compromises Audipo ’s usefulness for me. I still recommend Audipo .

Great app to listen to class recordings.

I have several recordings from training clases. I love the feature of Audipo remembering where I left it last. I have gotten used to this functionality with audio books, and Audipo does the same for my recordings.

Thank you!

Wonderful app for language studies

I’m preparing for the annual JLPT (Japanese proficiency) test. With Audipo I can load language samples, slow down the speech rate, and set repetition points to listen to key phrases over and over. If there was an pay-for version I definitely buy it.

Almost perfect!

I like Audipo a lot, you can get through many audiobooks with it. Only thing is the continuous play mode doesn't play the tracks in order like iTunes. It goes from chapter 1 to chapter 32 to chapter 16 and the titles don't show so I must manually play each track until the speaker says the chronologically correct title.

Why a subscription?? (Obviously I know why)

Audipo does exactly what it says and does it pretty well. The reason for not giving it 5 stars is there is no reason, other than for money, to make it a subscription for the pro version. I would totally pay 4.99 (one time) for Audipo, but no way am I paying a monthly fee for it.

Look somewhere else

The free version of Audipo is made to be very frustrating, after a pause, completely forgets what file you were playing after 10 seconds, cannot control from the locked screen, have to open Audipo to switch to the next file ant press play again. And the paid version is a subscription model. F that! Switched to free Anytune.

Great for Meetings

This is great for skimming through recordings of meetings and adding reference points to topics in the discussion.

Would be great if it supported keyboard controls. Space bar to play/pause, arrow keys to skip between reference points and square brackets to increase or decrease the playback speed would take this from a great app to an amazing app.

Highly recommended.

My go to audiobook player

Everything is great except for the sound quality. I tested this against iBooks and it seems like the quality fork iBooks is several order of magnitudes better.

Can you improve the quality of the sound while keeping everything constant
