Solitaire Classic Card Game Reviews

It has been my favorite game for a number of years. I've played it over 1000 times. But now, I get about a minute into the game and a pop up appears telling me that my iPad is 28% or so corrupted and that I need to press a button at the bottom of the notice or my iPad ( and iPhone) will become inoperative. It tells me not to leave the site or there will be dire consequences. I did leave the site by turning off my iPad completely. When I turned it back on I reinstalled SolitaireClassicCardGame and tried the game again. The pop up appeared again in approximately the same way. Again, to get rid of the pop up I turned the iPad completely off and uninstalled SolitaireClassicCardGame when I turned it back on. YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!!

I loved playing this game until the pop-up ads started to appear to forces me to close SolitaireClassicCardGame in the middle of the game and re-open. Not to mention the newest addition of the same ad that out of the blue makes an ear piercing fire alarm noise!! I actually thought it was my smoke detectors & woke up my entire household, so apparently I cant even trust playing solitaire discretely?? All you can do is close SolitaireClassicCardGame , losing the progress of the game I had.
Ads appear with only the option to click "ok" which almost appears as a virus-type ad!!
Seriously listen to your users & the reviews when everyone says the same thing!!
I don't even care about the ads at the bottom, as long as they don't affect my game!!!

Not surprisingly, another well designed but glitchy Storm8 game.. for Apple products, anyway. I’ve played quite a few of their games, especially the Story games. They’re very cute and well made but they aren’t solid and they don’t even bother fixing them. Plus, with those games they’re incredibly cheap and don’t reward with anything.
This game, just freezes up a lot. I love the look and the choices of Easy, Med, Hard. Sounds are great too.
FIX THE GLITCHES. !!!!

Get more freezes now that the freezes have been "fixed". Also get"no more moves" message when there are many more moves to make. Frustrating.
3months later the freezes continue. It appears that nothing has been fixed. The pretty new graphics do not make up for the poor performance.
Hate the intrusive ads. They add nothing to the solitaire experience.

When I get to the end of a game, ads pop up and I can’t get past them. I can’t see what my score was because I have to completely restart. I keep track of my highest score and try to beat it but the stupid ads keep me for seeing what my score is. The worst ones are the wood puzzle and something that says “you might also like”. I understand that ads are necessary but fix it so that it’s easier to close out of them.

I have been playing this game for some time now and I’m not sure what is going on... I have either played EVERY game combination, and once I beat that combination, that game disappears from the last game, or the game needs an update. For the past few months, I have been playing the same, un-winnable game over and over again. Please update the game/app. When you have, I will consider changing my review!

Like other reviewers I love the game the way it’s laid out however the pop-up ads that go on 2 to 3 minutes and very loud are extremely annoying to the point that I have looked for other solitaire games just to get rid of the ads.

Love the game but one thing is really strange. When it says you have no more moves and you choose Reshuffle, it asks if you want to leave the game. When you say yes, it says you will lose all progress. Duh! There are no moves available, you have to leave the game! Why do you ask such a stupid questions? What other option is there? Just say you have no more moves. Do you want to proceed to a new game?

Great, basic game--my "go to" game. Just wish the screen wouldn't freeze up so often--very frustrating! Come on developers: Fix this problem!!!!! (It has something to do with the ads--when an ad flashes at the same time cards are moving, the screen tends to hang up). If you fix this issue, you'll get my five stars.

This game is worth the 5 stars it just can’t take all the ADs. To make matters worse, they are of games I have absolutely no interest in. I understand a quick short one but they are too long. For that reason I gave it a 4. Wanted to give a 1 star but wouldn’t be fair since the game after all is good.

The ads are beyond annoying! Moreover, they often cause the game to freeze and abruptly end.

I fully comprehend the reasons for the ads, but there must be a better way. Why must many of them be so very loud and visually unappealing?! Why is it so difficult to cancel most of theses ads?! Please fix the issue of annoyingly intrusive ads!

There are many features about iOS 8 solitaire that I like, including the graphics and the choices of easy medium and hard.

The game frequently freezes. The it clears itself up within a few hours but there must be a glitch in the software because it freezes often. I would also like a feature where one could record the total points and number of games played.

I really love playing this game but noticed on the bottom when the ad for t•mobile comes up it freezes my game every single time. I have to exit my game and start all over.?i know advertising is important but if this keeps happening specifically and only when t•mobiles ad comes on I will have to stop playing this game. It is extremely irritating. There are other solitaire games out there to play but I like your the best. That is changing very quickly.

Even if I have my sound turned off, certain ads blare loudly! I do not appreciate not being able to control whether or not the sound plays AND even how loudly it plays. I’m fine with the other ads.

UPDATE: since I writing my original complaint, I am no longer experiencing ads that play loud audio even when I have my sound turned off on my phone. Don’t know if those ads just expired or if the problem was fixed. Either way, I’m grateful!

I have deleted and reloading added SolitaireClassicCardGame but that google notice again reappears. Please Fix! I enjoy solitaire and about ready to delete SolitaireClassicCardGame and find a new one?

10/11 you sent me a note to say you fixed this, but I just got it again......I have to close down SolitaireClassicCardGame to get rid of the virus notice....Fix SolitaireClassicCardGame !

Love it. What really makes it for me, is the intelligent design that went into the gameplay. It plays with ease and brains. The colors n themes are pleasant, and the sounds are irresistible. My only recommendation is to Please Make More Solitaire Games In This Style. Would love to have Spider, Canfield, Clock, etc created using this brilliant platform.

This solitaire game is the best I've found. It's nice to be able to choose the challenge level you feel like playing at any particular time. This game also seems to play out more smoothly than most of the others. I just found it to be more enjoyable.

This is the version of solitaire I enjoy the most but recently it has been freezing up and will only start up again if I reboot my iPhone. The other versions work fine.

Problems have resolved and it again is my favorite version of solitaire.

This is my favorite solitaire game! I like to play to unwind. I like the sound effects. They are soothing enough, other games are too flashy.
It’s the last thing I play at night. I play about 5 games before I fall asleep. Love that.

Love the game and play it on all my devices. Storm 8 is my only go to for Solitaire as it beats out all others. I wish, however there were fewer ads. The popup ads that hijack the came for 3+ minutes with loud LOUD music or game noise are especially annoying. Half the time I have to restart the game as some ads do crash the program on the latest iOS. Despite the crashes, popup ads and annoying sounds of the ads, Storm8 Solitaire is the best out there! Thank you for making a fun program.
