Pictoword: Fun Word Quiz Games Reviews

As someone who ALWAYS reads, but NEVER writes reviews, it says a lot that I felt the need to write this one. If I am rating the game itself, I would give it 5 stars. It’s really fun to play, and would be well worth the download if you didn’t have to stop after every guess to watch another ad.. Similar games will allow you to solve around 4-5 words in between ads, not every 30 seconds like this one does. You are constantly being interrupted to watch the same ads over and over. I was literally cringing and turning my face away when seeing an ad for a Nail Salon game that showed a fingernail being cut down to the nub. It was DISGUSTING! Also, you can’t get into any kind of rhythm while playing , so you just end up quitting and eventually uninstalling instead of bothering to pay the fee to play it ad-free. I completely understand the importance of ads for Pictoword creators, but this is just plain RIDICULOUS. It seems to me like fewer ads would keep people playing longer, writing better reviews, and recommending it to all their friends. Unfortunately, I will not be doing any of those at this time.

At first you do not really know what to but then you get the hang of it. The game becomes easier and easier. There are times where you have to have a advertisement because you are stuck. But other then that I think the game is good and really entertaining. Although I wish there were not so much ads. If there were not ads it would be more peaceful and I would give a five star. But for now it is probably a four. I love how it is mostly school and you are learning while playing a fun game. I just wish there were not that many ads. If there were only a couple of ads then I would say it is five. But for now it is a four and I love that people creat these games that are educational for kids. Maybe the kid might be struggling and then they play this amazing educational game and they are now doing better in school. Otherwise I love this game it is. so fun I would I do play this game every single day because it is educational for kids. Even if they are older. I just love it. But I wish there were not so many ads.

I play this several times a day. I wasn’t sure if I would do this review or not. I have done two other reviews for 80 which never went thru. If it doesn’t work this will be my last review. Well here’s another review. I do love playing pictureword. If I wake up at night I do a couple (bad habit tho). I will keep playing it. Still here. Love it. I have over 3,500 money saved for help So far I have been playing for over a year. I really enjoy it. Still playing. It’s been months. Still enjo I now have almost 78,000. Points now. Once I got stuck and didn’t have enough points for a guess. After that I built up my points !! ♥️ I still play every day. Love it. I don’t remember when I started this game but I’m still playing. I remember once I couldn’t get the answer and didn’t have enough to buy a guess. I didn’t like that so now I have wy over 85,000 points.

I downloaded this game about a week ago and I am already addicted. Right now I am on level 47. I feel that this game really helps you with your problem solving skills and helps you cope with situations that might occur. When I say this I mean that maybe you need to find something out in an escape room or even at school and at home. This game is a very great game for any age of kids from age of 9 to adults at the age of 50 and older. This game also is offline so if you are in the car with no internet and no service this game is always an option. Pictoword is also free so if you are looking for free games to play in the car on long road trips this is that app for you ( just don’t play it if you are the one driving the car I don’t want to be blamed for anyone getting injured). Anyway this game is awesome and I personally think that everyone should download it and I think that you will feel the same I feel about it.😄😄

I usually don’t review games, but I feel like this game needs my input.
So first of all, there are WAYYY to many ads. You do like 1 or 2 levels and then there is an ad. I know that games get their money, but the amount of ads is ludicrous. Also, the ads never change. They are always the same ads, making players just want to leave the game. If you used different ads, maybe people will play for a longer period of time and will see lots of different games instead of a limited amount of games.
Second, not all people can complete all the quests. For example, most kids don’t have Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. Kids won’t be able to complete these quests since they don’t have all this social media. I think the quests should also be easier, and everyone should be able to do them.
Once again, I LOVE this game but I believe these things should be changed so more and more people get this game. Thanks for reading!

I really enjoy this game, I do think that it could be changed. If you are certain what certain letters you should be able to put them in—- then if you pick next letter it should come in after the letters you put in there not
at the beginning. I still love this game, same sentiment as before. If I know the first word and I put those letters in, the next letter if I choose a hint should be in the 2nd word, not over one of the letters I already have in there. It is a lot of fun.

So, I enjoy Pictoword. I'm pretty far on the levels! However, I noticed something that is just a pet peeve for me personally. The "hints" are kinda stupid sometimes. For example, lets say there was a picture of fire, and a picture of a dog. You don't know the answer but you know the first few letters. Apparently not, because you just wasted 35 coins on a hint that's stupid. It gave you the first letter. Aside from that. All the people saying "The adds are after Every Single Level! It's so annoying! I can't even play!" Three words, turn off wifi. It's simple. Pictoword does not need wifi to run. Adds do. Although, the amount of adds I get after every single level, is zero. In fact even with wifi there is barley any adds. The adds don't really bother me when I do get them because I can just fast forward and then skip them. For no coins at all. Overall, a good app. Just some tiny issues. 👍🏻

My favorite game. I love this game. I play just about every day! Like the additional points earned by word play when solving puzzles. Great game!fun. Passes the time quicklyihave played it for years. I only gave it one star because I️ Gould not give it zero stars ! I can’t believe an entire group of grown people got together and actually agreed to allow their “child friendly” apps to have terrifying pop up ads! (its rated age 4+ )... but they must have forgotten about the kids when they sold them out for advertiser $$$ ...We chose to play this game tonight as a distraction for my son who has a terrifying sleep condition and is afraid to go to sleep ... So I assume because it’s educational and rated (age 4+) that it would be a fun choice and distract him until he’s tired enough to fall asleep on his own....
but That’s not what happened !
Their irresponsible advertising choice instead increased my child’s terrifying night anxiety...I hope it’s worth it to them to make a quick buck . They traded a child’s right to play a fun safe game for money!! I’m totally disgusted!!!!
The ads I’m referring to that are inappropriate are many .... thus evening there are ghost arms reaching down through a ceiling like they are going to grab you.... and they pop up out of no where to scare the kids!!! Nice business your running there! Absolutely Idiotic !!

Update: The levels have been added and my daughter continues to climb up the ladder. I considered purchasing the ad free version but realized that it was time-limited. For example: 99¢ only buys ad-free for a limited amount of time. $10 buys 3 hours of ad-free. That is ridiculous. My daughter plays this game frequently and I refuse to pay for a time frame of free-ads. That being said I play with her now because some of the ads are inappropriate. I screen them. I will be looking for a similar word game without the inappropriate ads and unlimited ad-free for a set price. That is my only quirk with the game. Other than that my eight-year old cracks these word puzzles at an alarming rate. In summary, make the puzzles more challenging and re-evaluate the ad-free rates.

My daughter loves this game. It needs levels though. As it is my eight year old knows all of the words. It would be great if there were more difficult words.

So when I first got this game I thought that it was going to be a really boring game but when I started playing on it it was so fun and I loved it and it was addictive. I first started playing it when I saw it on one of my friends phone I thought it looked boring and annoying it I’ll I saw her playing it. At a that moment I felt like I needed this game. Now I play on it 24/7 I go from 100% to 1% in what feels like 20 min but it is actually like 4 hours. I would recommend this game to you it is so fun and relaxing and if you are a parent then you should get this game for your kid they will learn to sound out words and to break then up. And the best part it has NO ADDS. I know we all get so bored watching the same add over and over again you don’t have to pay for no adds and you only get adds if you want them. This is a great game and I LOVE it you should get it.😁😁

Okay so I just got this game. It’s amazing! At first there weren’t so many ads, then there were. I think you need to dial it back with the ads. I really think it’s an awesome game though! It really makes you think and help you find scrabbled words. It’s a really amazing game just too many ads. I think you should make it to where you can add words to the game and maybe be able to change the pictures. I hope you consider my suggestions and maybe one day use them. Thank you for reading this! (Also I know about the airplane mode thing and the wi-fi mode thing. It doesn’t work for me though) other then the ads it’s an amazing game so far! This game has changed my life for the better. I have never felt so refreshed after I’ve played some rounds. My husband has it on his phone too and we have formed more of a bond while we play, he will actually talk to me. I began to feel I could never amount to anything and once I came across this game my life became full of light and I started to go to church. This game has repaired me in many many ways. I recommend this to anyone who is having a hard time like I was, it’ll change you. I have been thinking to write a letter to the makers of this game for I was on the verge of becoming crippled by depression and once I’ve downloaded this I just thought WOW! It made me feel, it made me think, it made my life so much better. I will NEVER give this game up. I play it from 6-10 everyday on the dot. Helped with anxiety and my COPD As well. Thank you.

I love this game mostly just the mobile app
But for the mobile app can you increase the amount of coins you get?
You get very little coins but the hints cost a lot of coins

There are a lot of ads and it gets annoying. I get that you need the ads to make money and keep the game going but can you make it so there isn’t an ad after every picture?

For the iMessage app can you please change a few things?
Can you make it so you can zoom in to draw?
Also for those who are horrible at drawing can you make it an option to have it automatically do the pictures if you can’t draw but if you can draw and you want to you can
And also can you make another option for the iMessage game?
In the iMessage game you can make it so it gives you the pictures like the mobile app and in a certain amount of time you can guess and whoever guesses the most wins

Also I have anxiety, depression, and a anxiety disorder called trichotillomania which makes me pull out my eyelashes and other types of hair in my body. I play this game for about a hour each day and it helps me control the urge to pick and helps me cope with my anxiety

LOVE IT!
I started playing this app when I was recuperating from a severely fractured femur and hip! I found it to be very entertaining and challenging. It probably helped keep me sane through the long rehab and physical inactivity! Since then, I continue to enjoy playing with my grandkids who range in age from 5-17! It becomes a group effort to figure some of the puzzles out and a great opportunity to interact with one another. My nearly 86 year old Mom loves to play! She suffered a minor stroke last year and she says it has been a great way to keep her mind “sharp”!
At this point, I have completed all of the available puzzles and sure would like to see more introduced, as you say will be coming.
We all love it in our family and look forward to playing it for a long time! Our compliments to the creators of this app! Thanks for a game that is fun for all ages!

I truly love this game. However some of the answers to the pictures don’t make any sense to me. Very few are like that though. One was a photo of a tire and the answer was “down”??? It was the second photo. That made no sense to me. Then last night the first picture was of a large group of people but I can’t remember what the answer to that photo was—but it made no sense to me. These incidents don’t happen very often. Just once in a blue moon. I especially love this game because it’s a “calming” game. And right now I’m a frazzled mess as I’m waiting for the results of a test I had yesterday—a test looking for cancer. So when I’m feeling like I’m about to lose it while waiting to get those results, playing this app really helps me to feel calmer. Thank you for creating this game. Sandra Hender

It’s a great game for all ages , my only problem is that it’s so hard. It shows two pics the you have to put them together to make a word. Some of the pics I haven’t even seen. I like the family feature a lot. If you pay coins it gives you names of the pics or it can take or add letters in. There are quite a bit of ads but I honestly don’t care like some other people do. The piggie bank thing bothers me because it costs 3 bucks and I don’t have that much money. I’d recommend this game to geniuses but normal people might have a hard time. Earlier I mentioned the clue thing, it shouldn’t cost 70 coins for that , or maybe you could add a thing where you can skip the questions and eventually they pop back up. Thanks for you time.🔥🐶

OK. So here is what happened: I was just playing this game with a friend, and then this really challenging and impossible word puzzle came. The answer to the first picture was ill and the second was Eagle after wasting a lot of coins I could not even fit all the letters in the boxes so after that I had to wast even more coins to skip that puzzle, because otherwise I would have had to delete this game and forget about this game. But this game is just to amazing so I could not do that. If it was not for that incident everything would be fine and dandy. Oh, also I was reading the other comments and I really have not seen any inappropriate videos, yet so either you really never had any or you got rid of them which was nice.

So in conclusion great game fix that tiny problem, and I will be the happiest person in the world!!!

I was getting bored of all my apps for a long time. We had a very long road trip up ahead so I knew I needed new apps. I went onto Pictoword Store a tapped on “recommend “ and I saw Pictoword. I read the reviews and I though it was worth getting. After it installed, I got onto Pictoword . At first I thought it was very easy. It ended up getting harder (like most apps with levels) and I needed to start using my hints. This is where the bad part comes in. I used a couple hints and I thought it was just fine. I started running out of hints. You barely get any coins after each level, which makes this even harder. I kept watching videos to get free coins and that worked. Soon, that option was no longer there. On a hard level, I did not have enough coins to get ONE hint. I was stuck on this level so I could not get any coins. Please fix this issue.

⭐️This is a revision to my previous review. I now find it easy to circumvent the ads that I so despised previously. The theme packs are great! I hate that you only get $2 credits for puzzle wins, however, when it costs so very many credits for everything else including even revealing a single letter($35 credits! WHAT?!) Steep prices, indeed. But much fun, and it does keep my mind engaged in something. I have left my previous review below as a reminder of WHAT NOT TO DO AGAIN WITH REGARDS TO ADS. 😃

Previous review: I paid to remove the ads because I despise taking 15 seconds after every single game to watch a stupid clip... And then it still would not allow the removal of the ads! Unbelievable. Piece of junk app! Don’t bother. Very annoying and way too easy.

My younger sister has anxiety that occurs frequently, and she’s a bit behind at school compared to the other students, so we were recommended to download some iPad games that would increase learning abilities. The first app game that showed up was this app! We decided to download it, and it worked like a charm! Her grades ended up boosting tremendously, and she became a pro at Language Art class!

Whenever we go to the doctor, we play this game together in the waiting room, and the doctors are extremely impressed at how this has helped her! Pictoword has helped my sister so so so so much and I couldn’t be happier that this game exists.

The fact that it’s a great learning experience isn’t even half of it. Pictoword is just overall a lot of fun for my sister. She loves the fact that there are levels and quests, so that she has something to work up to and try to achieve, and she loves the challenging part of finding out the word mixture, and no other game has impacted her like this one!

Overall I’d like to thank the creators and developers so very much. You’ve helped my sister through her struggles, and you’ve impressed certified doctors with PhD's! Pictoword is fantastic, and I can’t say enough good things about it!

One Note: Since my sister has been getting quite skilled, I was wondering if you could add difficulties. Or if there already are difficulties you could help direct me to it. Thank you so much once again. :)
