“Glitchy is kind”

I bought the Apple Xs around Christmas, traded in my 6R just to increase hardware capacity to receive 710ESPN AM app (Too long a story to write here how I came to that conclusion but all was for 710 reception.
The new phone worked reliably for awhile then ‘glitchy’. I have had others come to my house with their phones to try reception (rural north Clark Co. WiFi thru a dish, no wires out here). No one has been able to pull this station in!
Please Fix SeattleSports710AM . Bad enough losing Brock and Salk to a once a week podcast, now I can barely ever get the station.

Maybe partner with SiriusXM and use their satellite?I would pay a subscription for reliable reception option.

Need an ad free option

This is my most used app and my most annoying app. I love the content. That’s not the issue. What is the issue is the 15 second video ad that runs before the content begins. It plays every time I change networks and use Safari. It also plays every time SeattleSports710AM loses connection and then reconnects. I decided to finally write this review after having this ad play 17 times over a couple of hours this morning. That includes 5 times over the past 15 minutes while at Starbucks. This issue seems to be at its all time worst since the new year. Also, if the connection isn’t the best the video freezes and never progresses to the actual content. Please please please either fix this issue or offer a paid ad free option. I love the content and would gladly pay for it.

Good content, but app is full of bugs

Please fix these bugs.
1. When listening to any podcast “on-demand,” if you navigate away from the playing now screen even one time, you can never get back to it. So you can’t fast forward, rewind, jump forward 15 seconds, read the episode description, etc. This makes listening beyond frustrating. And when the window minimizes to the bottom of the screen, you cannot reopen it. So don’t bother clicking on it because you will want to throw your phone out the nearest window.

2. The “info” (circled i) button on the right of each podcast episode does not work at all. It literally does nothing.

3. You cannot read the description of any show without actually playing it first. This forces you to interrupt what you’re listening to merely to read the description of the podcast episode.

There are several more but these are the worst three that destroy one’s listening experience. How have these not been fixed? I will update my review once these very basic fixes are implemented.

Go M’s

Inconsistent functionality

I am an avid 710Espn Seattle listener. I very much enjoy catching up on show segments that I miss during the day. However, it is becoming very difficult due to the vast irregularities in functional operation of SeattleSports710AM . Frequently I am unable to search the show uploads, SeattleSports710AM will freeze and not allow me to view list of shows, let alone specific segments. If I am able to get to list of show segments, the description of segment details is not viewable. When selecting description button, segment will automatically play, rather than expand description. And lastly, there are times when the podcast will cease to play once the phone goes into lock or sleep mode.

Listen a lot

Please, just a little bit about the Sounders. They are undefeated yet nothing from you. The midday show needs an upgrade.

Am surprised at low ratings for this app.

SeattleSports710AM has been a great addition to my iphone, both at home and when travelling. It does a very good job of serving up the current broadcast as well as re-casts (podcasts) of recent shows. Some tweaks could probably make it better, but it's something I make use of every week and in some weeks, every day.

Espn Seattle 7.10

Love mornings with Brock and Salk. At times Salk is really funny with his irony of his argumentative or divisive perspectives, but at times makes me think out of the box, and not just being a homer. Brock has a real grasp on football analysis, being a former college and NFL player gives him credibility to what he is talking about. Thanks guys for being part of my morning drive.

Don’t waste your time

I check back every 6 months or so to see if they have fixed any of the issues. Only loads when it wants to. If you get a call you have to start the hour over. It’s clearly not important to them to provide a quality app. The original app worked just fine.
I will be deleting and never looking back. I miss you, Mr. John Clayton. Be well my friend

(They have a 1.9 rating out of 5. Tells you everything you need to know. Have a little pride in your work!)

Can’t live steam the station

SeattleSports710AM is garbage I downloaded it so I could listen to the mariners games on 710 since my car radio doesn’t get AM radio very well. It doesn’t let you live stream the station. When you press play to live stream it forces you to watch a 15 second prostate cancer commercial then is comes up with a notification that says “Live stream not available. Oops something went wrong the mount is Geo-blocked” so SeattleSports710AM is pretty useless at this point.

Disappointed

App used to work great however the more they update SeattleSports710AM the more is seems to freeze and have issues. Really getting sick of seeing commercials while trying to listen to the podcasts. Can't move SeattleSports710AM to the background and listen until the commercial finishes playing wish they would get rid of the garbage commercials really getting to the point where it's not worth having SeattleSports710AM

Good content bad bugs

Keeps cutting in and out won’t play in the background I don’t know how many times this told me to recommend proton therapy but I like the station

The Dubin Law Group has an app?

Push play to see a mandatory video ad, at which point you can listen to the ads on the actual broadcast. If you stop the playback, just repeat this unavoidable, unsolicited 15 second process, then pick up where you left off during the commercial break (not live) to make sure you aren’t missing any great deals for precor home fitness or male enhancement.

Using for over 2 years

Within the last 4 months, after upgrade update, can barely and rarely connect to live broadcast! Only live video stream only! Very irritating! “Curating news” ever since then has been the problem for me. All my location services are enabled and still will not connect!!

Claims I'm blacked out, while in downtown Seattle

SeattleSports710AM has gone from passable to terrible. Even when it works, only the ads consistently stream, the actual audio feed is always spotty. Now, when I try to listen to an away game, I just get the blackout message and a streaming error. While connected to the wifi on a Seattle Metro bus, in the middle of downtown Seattle. I guess I can be in two time-zones at once??

The start screen ad is very annoying

I get you need to make money but if I’m listening to a show then get a call and get right back on the show why am I watching the ad again? Or if SeattleSports710AM crashes I have to watch the ad again because your app crashed?? Super annoying the ad isn’t even relevant to me.

By

Too many commercials

Every time I jump on to listen it’s at a commercial. It feels like there are more commercials than actually talking.

By

Terrible app

Live feed is 50/50. And don't even try to download a show podcast. They aren't updated until long after the show airs (Mike&Mike episodes are available almost immediately through iTunes so I know it's possible) and even when I try to download an hour or a show it rarely plays. I would guess 10%. SeattleSports710AM needs a major overhaul.

Love all the shows

Don’t change a thing. Still disappointed though that John Clayton’s Saturday show doesn’t start at 9am anymore. Ugh

Great App, unnecessary ads

SeattleSports710AM provides a fantastic radio feed for the Mariners (with broadcasted advertisements) so not sure why I need to see an add featuring our local injury law douche before connecting each time. Definitely an overstep on their part.

By

Terrible app

This used to be a good app where I could listen to the Mariners and Seahawks but since I'm outside Seattle (gee who's stupid idea was that?) SeattleSports710AM is totally worthless. Why not have only those in the state? Either let us have the games or just don't have an app. Yes I'm mad this is ridiculous.

UPDATE: Now Seahawks games are blacked out too? Yeah I'm uninstalling complete waste of time and space.

From good to crap!

710 Seattle Was a great app that worked nearly 100% of the time. Now it’s gotta to the point that it drops at least once every hour no matter if I’m on Wifi or cellular. Then there’s the constant ads. Every time it drops I have to relisten to the opening ads. Every time I pause and unpause relisten to the opening ads. Stop with the F’ing ads! You already have commercials on the radio.

Disappointed

I used to live in Seattle and listened to this station every day. Now I live overseas and listen as often as I can. This station used to be available on the tune in radio app it worked well. This station discontinued their services with them and I was forced to download this garbage app that rarely works. I guess it is time for me to move on.

OUTTA SYNCH, GANG!! :”-bb

I’d give SeattleSports710AM. a “4”~ MAYBE even a “5”~ when considering their other fine shows & quality information; BUT, WHYY ARE MARINER BROADCASTS ALWAYS AT LEAST 30~40 SECONDS OFF the TV pace??? :”((... I LOVE to listen to Rick Rizzs while watching the game muted on TV~BEST OF ALL WORLDS for a Mariner fan!! (Sorry Dave Sims, but Rizzs truly carries the mantle of our beloved Dave Niehaus!)
