I have been a long time user who bought MangaLib yers ago. This latest update made the UI much better and improved a lot of things, yet it came at a cost to the only reason I used MangaLib: the manga. Downloading a series takes so many tries that it’s almost pointless and when they do finally download, they are out of order and have random pages thrown in. You can read the exact same chapter online on your server and it is correct, so how do you mess up the download? Who wants to have to wait for a page to load every once in awhile as your servers catch up? You broke downloading, which is the only benefit of using MangaLib over reading online in your browser on a free website alternative. Don’t waste your time or money until they fix this garbage.

Just bought the full version and chapters are showing as locked. Basically they are not appearing. When I go to read the beginning of a manga at chapter 1 instead of the manga all I see is a black screen with a big X on it. I’m on version 10.5 bug fix update from 3 months ago . I was reading the first chapter of dragon ball when this occurred and the chapters did not load. I tried a more recent manga Boku no Hero and it did the same thing . None of the chapters are unlocked . Fix this and I’ll change my rating and review until then consumers do not download MangaLib.

Although I love the new design and search features, I’m very disappointed in the fact that they got rid of many of the older manga. My favorite part of MangaLib was finding the old, quirky and less popular manga. Such as Sensei!. I even noticed that the new update doesn’t even have Parasyte, one of my all time favorites (and a popular manga as well).

Had MangaLib for years, paid for it and never regretted it. Until now.

Now you have to buy the license because you guys decide that let make one chapter free then the other paid randomly.& a lot of manga isn’t even being updated like one piece isn’t current why pay if things aren’t being updated

no genre search, then default setting on viewing a chapter is to be unreadable. But at least there is absolutely no way to change that. MangaLib made it extremely easy to choose something else.

For some reason all the manga's appear but when I click on them to select a chapter, the chapters do not appear. This happens with every manga I've tried to read on my iPhone XR. Please fix this soon.

I absolutely loved MangaLib and used it all the time for a long time, but then out of he blue the other day it just will not work. I cannot read anything, nothing will load. When I’m connected to any WiFi or my carrier network, MangaLib won’t load anything. Will not return to MangaLib unless that is addressed, which then I will go back to loving it.

Suddenly stopped working, I can’t even read my downloaded chapters. The images won’t load even though they were properly downloaded

Not all the chapters of some mangas are there, it refuses to let you download all the chapters of some mangas too, and the despite the fact that I purchased the full version it keeps locking me out of chapters of the manga and asking me to buy the full version but doesn’t retain the restore purchase. Otherwise a great app for offline reading and it has some manga that I have been looking for forever and couldn’t find.

The only thing I like about MangaLib is that now it shows the book covers. Since it’s been updated, it’s impossible to download mangas and be able to read them. Let alone just read them on WiFi. Everyone that I want to read won’t let me. It’s seriously angering me.

I’m very sad I’ve had MangaLib for awhile even made the purchase but since this update I can’t access anything. I tried to redownload and nothing. I can’t read stories at all it says null and kicks you out. I’m hoping it’s just because it’s still updating even if it’s been 7 hours since then.

One of the best apps I've used but only wish I didn't have to pay for the offline downloads but it was still worth it

I have used MangaLib for years and it is still my favorite manga reader. Although they are still updating servers, I wish they would put out an update for MangaLib itself. After updating to the newest iOS I’ve noticed a few bugs. Nothing app breaking but occasionally the pages won’t turn on the first swipe.

Just checked and MangaLib works again. Able to read manga again. Changing my review from 1 star back to 5 stars
