There are some great drills and ideas with this app. Honestly, I don’t even think it is missing anything once it works how it looks like it should. Unfortunately, it does not work as it should. I have saved about seven drills from my white board, but none of it works in the plan builder. Multiple crashes when trying to put together the practice plan.

Oddly enough, I don’t think there has been an update to this app for a bit, yet options that worked a month ago, don’t work now. It’s frustrating to put so much time into building plans and creating drills to have the app crash and not save the work.

Bout time for an update...

Sometimes things just aren't worth the hassle. This app is one of those things. I'm computer literate but after 45 minutes of changing passwords and creating accounts I finally get this app loaded only to be told that I can't log in because USAHockey didn't actually put in the account name and password I entered but a modified version they felt was better. There are much better, much easier to access apps on the iTunes store that do as much and more. Not worth the hassles. Even to poast this review I have to try to think up a unique Nickname! Really???!!! Thanks again USAHockey!

The plans won’t save when you use the Plan Builder. I’ll spend an hour or more making a plan, attaching drills from the app’s database (which are poorly described and the graphics are FAR too small to see, even on an iPad) and click “save” on every item. Then when ice time comes, I’ll open up the app and find that NOTHING was saved at all. Every feature of this app is useless.

My advice is to go old school until the devs fix it, just bring a whiteboard to practice. At least then your whole practice plan won’t get randomly deleted.
