  Improved????

  I’ve used—and recommended—FishWeather for years. But today they “improved” it, and it is now completely unintelligible. Gone are the maps that allow you to choose a weather station. Gone is the at-a-glance bar chart with wind, rain and temp by hours. In its place is—I don’t know. I’ve been trying to find the simple info I depend on, replaced with something so complicated as to be totally unusable. Bad idea, FishWeather. However, if I were captains a 100 ton freighter in the mid-Atlantic, it might be useful. If I could figure it out.

Review of my usage
I have used FW from Long Island in the bahamas to Long Island New York. First and foremost it is very accurate. The downside is user friendliness of the product. At least for me there is a lot of trial and error. Many key strokes. If you could fix that it would be that much better.

  FishWeather is the best weather program for fishermen!

  FishWeather’s radar is current, easy to use and loops for a good amount of time. Zooming in on very localized locations gives excellent real time conditions and accurate predictions that are very easy to read. Wind information is a key concern in predicting waves and FishWeather makes it easy to identify wind speed predictions. I use this program planning to go out fishing and while on the water. Watching storms move around let’s me predict where I can be on the water. I always recommend FishWeather to my fishing buddies.
