The app overrides user settings - including overriding the mute (sound off) function on personal devices - which is just another sign of your failed, disrespectful leanings towards dictating how we will receive our news. I get it - you need to sell advertising and as a TV-based company that is on the verge of bankruptcy, you need to remove user freedoms! You sold your soul to the Chinese Communist Party by advertising TikTok and WhatsAop, now you’re trying to sell your subscribers too.
Well - if your overriding my personal device settings, then you’re likely doing more illegal things with my devices. Yet, I’m sure you are thinking “Hah, you’ll be back for the news.” Sorry you are nothing short of a communist dictator, except maybe shorter than Kim Jun Un. Learn to respect your customers, including those who have contributed to your business. Sorry / but that ends now!
