This is not going to end well. I’ve had FanSided on my phone for well over a year (the space is confusing - so many sources, such weird naming and bundling - I am not really sure how long exactly) now they have chosen to force me to play video ads with the volume up before I can view the content. No. Freaking. Way. Not only is FanSided getting deleted, but how will they ever get me back? An ad campaign to let me now they‘ve understood their mistake and changed their ways? Seriously bad business move everybody. Maybe have your writers tweet about it if you change your minds.

For an app that brings news to your device, the notifications DO NOT work. In a day in age where most people are already flooded with information on their devices, making time in one’s day to remember to check this app for news (some of which already becomes outdated by the time you remember to manual check for it), is just not excusable. I originally thought it was just me, but based on other reviews I’m seeing, this is common and it’s either happening for a lot of people, or everyone.

Developer: Please fix this, and until you do, you’ve lost a regular user/reader

Now you are forced to listen to their video ads… these now play without any way to shut them down until it has played three ads.. if i’m reading an article that they are already throwing up ads in why now am i forced to listen to these video ads too?? Most apps have setting to turn off the playing of video ..not this one…. So now if u want to receive a deluge of ads this FanSided for u!! I can get the content from FanSided in less annoying places.. it’s now deleted from both of my phone n ipad.

I love this app. I use it to follow the NFL.
Recently, it’s been shutting down after 15-20 seconds. I can’t even get through an article.
I’ve tried completely deleting FanSided and reloading it from scratch. The same thing happens.
I use the most recent updates on iPhone 12 Pro and iPad Pro.
Please fix this problem. Thank you.

I love FanSided and the articles it pulls together by the user’s choose of favorites. The only pitfall is that it’s not updated very often and it continuously crashes after using it for a couple of minutes. Tried contacting FanSided support multiple times and have not received any contact back for support.

I’m just having issues with alerts,the issue is I’m not receiving any. Once that is fixed I’ll give it 4 stars once they start giving scores like other apps it will be hands down the best sports app out by far. But please what’s up with alerts and notifications?

Like FanSided a lot. Love being able to pick and choose teams/entertainment I want to follow. Would give it 5 stars but I’ve stopped receiving notifications for some reason. It looks like others are having that problem.
Fix that and it will be awesome!

Every time I try to read a article that you put out it shutdown. I will reload and then 15-20 seconds later the site closes down. I reload another story and does the same thing. I get alerts and sometimes it won’t even load. I would have to open the program, find the story and then it will load. This happened weeks ago.

Can we get push alerts for teams and things followed? FanSided seems to have stories updated constantly,push alerts would be ideal. Scores would be fantastic also. Just missing push alerts on apple

Just really annoyed that I’m trying to read articles and it just keeps loading screen over and over please fix that issue otherwise I really like FanSided I was just looking up articles about John Gruden and I came across FanSided so well done

Developers: are you reading comments? Fix the crashing. It’s been going on for far too long. If you won’t correct the problem, remove it from FanSided Store. Maybe readers should request apple to do that for you. It’s trash now. This was a great app. Now, it crashes every 15 seconds. I deleted and reinstalled. Same thing. Please fix your stability issues. Thank you.

Look this is a great app but for about 10 months now I am not receiving notifications, by the time I manually check it a lot of the time the information is old. Please fix this. I emailed many times anout this issue and no one gets back to me

I have liked FanSided in the past but have noticed a steadily increasing problem with lag. When I view an article, the scrolling stops and then rushes through a page of text only to stop again. If I exit the article, the entire site stops responding for a time. I experience this on both WiFi and regular connectivity.
Will give this a little more time to get better before looking for other sports apps.

App keeps shutting down in middle of read. Reinstalled app and still same problem. My favorite app when working but so irritating and frustrating will have to stop using till problem fixed

Last week app has been just randomly crashing on my iPhone. Will load up let me scroll a few or click on an article then just close. Please fix!!!!!!!!

FanSided is great as it lets you choose which sports you receive news and rumors from. However as soon as i open FanSided it gives me a 5 second window before it just closes on me. This is extremely annoying having to open FanSided 15x to read one article.
Please fix

I’ve upgraded my review. The bug that kept the correct story from opening has been fixed. This is once again a five star app.

FanSided keeps crashing when opened and it has been now for a couple weeks now. When are you going to fix it?

Since installing the latest Apple update FanSided will close while reading articles. Fix it please! This is my number one sports app, when it works.

Score alerts or make the widget a score widget! Come on guys you are literally the best sports news app I’ve ever had all I need is scores too. Keeps crashing on my iPhone as well.

Invasive ads blanket content, can’t watch videos they offer bc within seconds an ad takes over and after being forced to watch, the video disappears only to be available again if you refresh, only to have that SAME ad interrupt and so on and so forth. I’ve watched “maybe” 4 seconds of video and 30 min of the SAME ad. Greed and incompetence at its best!

They were very helpful when I was playing daily fantasy including useful injury updates and strategies teams use. Their sports bets are brutal though. Their articles could spread bet opinions could put some people in debt.
