Not sure why or how it happened but it prompted us to purchase more packet, so thinking it would be giving us new material we did and it’s the same app?! Not happy.
There are two mistakes, the Chinese speaking on “ CLOTHES “ game.
First it should be ”T-SHIRT” instead of “SHIRT”.
Second it should be ”OVERCOAT” not “JACKET”.
Hopefully it can be correct.
Cute game but the devs used speakers with accented mandarin im guessing taiwanese accents? Please get new voice actors.
My kids both love this game. They are 3 and 6 years old. We are not fluent speakers in Chinese, but we have been working with a private tutor. This is a great game for the kids to hear Chinese and practice their skills! We have been using it for over a year with our eldest. The youngest has been playing for several months.
Cute, fun, engaging. Wish there were more subjects and basic sentences for the high price.
As an elementary school Mandarin teacher and a life-long learner, I'm always on the lookout for good Mandarin apps. This one stands out as one of the most fun and most effective, because of the variety of well-designed games and the constant repetition of the words. I will definitely recommend this to my students. I like the graphics and especially the music. I get a kick out of the extra challenge to the memory game (the cards bounce and scatter). I don't like that in the match-3 game, you can have no moves at a certain point. Teaching characters is a challenge, but I think they're on the right track with the character game--again, especially because of the constant repetition on the sounds of the words. Great app! Can't wait for more vocab sets!!

A few years ago I came across and bought LearnChinese. At that time I think it was $4.99 for 4 categories. Simple and I only used it for a few weeks before it loses interest.
Came last year I revisited LearnChinese and discovered then it became a subscription service, which offered more categories. I thought it was great and I like how each categories touch a little on listening and sometimes recognizing the characters.
This year I came visiting LearnChinese again, and, sorry to say, felt disappointed that nothing more to see here. For a subscription, I think it’s reasonable to see LearnChinese keep upgrading to keep attract and retain users.
Overall a fun app, just might now worth the price if not being expanding.
I enjoy this and the daily challenges it presents that exercise my mind.
I love LearnChinese. It offers lots of word repetitions and a lot of scaffolds for people like me who need extra support to learn a new language. I love the expressive language feature with microphone where the user records own words to be used as stimuli later on. My only wish is that the developers would add new themes to the Mandarine sometime soon. You guys are awesome in bringing joy to helping others to learn foreign languages.

Great games for beginners. Interactive and gives good examples on different pronunciations of the same word. Totally worth it!
I love how they give you a free trial to try it out before you actually use it. I also like how they teach my kids with mini games and keep them engaged.
The worst thing about LearnChinese is the price. I wish it was more affordable.
LearnChinese itself is fantastic. My kids love learning mandarin with LearnChinese. They actually ask to use it everyday.
My four-year-old loves this game and she has learned all of her animals and is starting to learn her colors and foods after just a week of playing. I highly recommend! LearnChinese is making language learning fun for her and for me.
I love learning Chinese. I got LearnChinese for my 4-year-old brother, and he loves it! It's perfect for him because it does not require any reading skills, and it's really fun. After a short time using LearnChinese , he already knows how to say a couple of colors. I just bought the locked lessons.
I'm excited. I want him to be my little Chinese-speaking buddy!
