Best part of going to World of Beer was not having to choose a beer. Shake option randomizing it made going there more fun cause I never knew what I was drinking until I shook my phone and your app randomly chose my new beer for me. Sadly this is no longer an option. If this option ever returns I would happily 5 star WorldofBeer.

Edit : Having the shake option back is totally awesome !! App very easy to use and I love the fact I can see which versions of the beers I’ve tried and not tried cause I never knew if I had the bottle or the can and if so which size can. Thank god you got rid of that train wreck Alegorhythm !! I was extremely happy up til the point when I can’t login anymore and WorldofBeer won’t allow me to reset password either. Once fixed I’ll give it the 5 stars it deserves.

We recently had a WoB open here in Lafayette. Super stoked but when I downloaded WorldofBeer , I couldn’t add any beer to my beer profile and no beer information comes up when I choose this location. Wth is going on?

Login keeps failing

Since updating to 4.0.2, I can’t filter new beers using the loyalty filter option

Why do I need WorldofBeer just to check the menu?

Can only login on website

I just redownloaded WorldofBeer and I’m unable to login due a “internet connection error.” Both on wifi and cellular.

Does not leave you logged in and new app not as good at all as the last one they had.

App worked fine until the update. Yes it was messy to navigate, but at least worked. Now it won’t let me log in for my rewards at all. Terrible update. Make sure it works before you launch.

Well here it May 20th and no reply, no email, and I still can't log in. I was a a WOB yesterday and was able to get my member number and tried to reset my pass word as it said to and still nothing, I give up! I do not know my member# and I have used the forgot password about 8 times I will either say it can't do that at this time or an email has been sent, I never get an email.

Just signed up for the loyalty program and WorldofBeer will not let me sign in. I’ve been getting emails so I know the account is valid and I’m sure the password is correct but that app still says my credentials are invalid. I have used both the email address and the card number to attempt to sign in.

So why can’t I login? I’ve used both my Loyalty # and email address along with correct passwords. Once again, WorldofBeer has a long way to go.

A little better, but still won’t function unless you’re on premises.

Missing a lot of modern features and integrations

For a place called "World of Beer", there is very little in WorldofBeer about beer. There is no longer an easy way to show the staff your loyalty number. There is also no way to see the number of unique beers you've had. I knew the loyalty change was coming (which was bad enough), but the new version of WorldofBeer is awful. It is very difficult to navigate.

I went to World of Beer because it helped me expand my beer horizons - and rewarded me for trying new things. WorldofBeer prior to version 3.0 helped me track that. The new versions hinder my ability to do that. It's clearly not about the beer anymore.

***UPDATE**** The latest updates to version 3.0.6 seem to address most of the issues I faced when version 3.0 first hit the streets. One big issue remains. When using advanced search to find beers you have not tried, it shows beers you have tried in less than all of the available formats. For example, if you’ve had a beer on tap, but not in a 12 oz bottle, it will show that you have had neither. That’s pretty disheartening. If it showed which sizes you have not had, that would be supremely helpful and bring WorldofBeer back to fully functional (as it was prior to version 3.0).

Unless they’ve hidden it somewhere, you’re no longer able to turn your phone sideways to show your loyalty number.

I really don’t understand the ale-gorithm. It says it will recommend a beer based off of your previous ratings. Unless I’m missing it, I get no recommendations at all.

Also, it would help out tremendously if WorldofBeer would indicate which new beers have been recently added...similar to the WoB website (but for both draft and bottles/cans, not just draft). I go to WoB weekly to try new beers, but I hate looking through the whole list every time in order to see what is new. A “new beer” tab would be a great improvement.

I have been brutally critical of WorldofBeer ever since the change from the original version. But I have to admit, this is good. The loyalty and rewards seem to actually work, it’s much easier to locate beers, and it doesn’t crash constantly.

In short, it’s finally back to all the features we had with the original app.

I’m LOVING! This latest set of updates. Its nice being able to search through what i’ve tried as well as whats on tap now.

I do miss having my membership card display when I turned my phone sideways. But overall, great app!

The version of WorldofBeer is one thousand times better than the previous version. New beer selections are back. It saves preferences. Local and global rankings are new (434 for me system wide, number 12 at my location). Shake for a random beer is back as well. Thanks for listening WoB!
