EPLLive, called “this app”, used to actually focus on the English Premier League, and it was great! However, the 2024 version seems to focus more on Australian football and the exploits of the “Socceroos”. Not that I have anything against Australian football, but if I wanted updated about Australian football, I would look for an app about that league. The EPL has clearly taken a back seat in the 2024 version of EPL Live. Also, live match stats and updates don’t seem to be available in the 2024 version. Despite those selections still being available, when selected, they contain no live stats or match updates.

Also, EPLLive “crashes” after almost every ad is displayed. The ads are useless and provide nothing of value, they are just ridiculously ANNOYING!!!

What’s happened to EPLLive this year is very disappointing, and I wouldn’t waste my time hoping it’s going to give you the information about the EPL you are hoping to find.

This is the first time I have submitted a review for any app. But the drop off in quality of EPL Live over the past 3-4 months has been significant. Tables from other leagues no longer exist, or if they do, they still show last years results. EPL table is not updated to reflect recent results and the EPL schedule kick off times are usually not updated until the day before kick off. Data outages are now regular occurrences. If these problems aren’t resolved (we’re 4 weeks in the season for most leagues), I will delete EPLLive . Developers need to take the necessary measures to fix EPLLive .

This was a great up until this season. It’s never up-to-date with scores. It’s never up-to-date with the tables. There are only three tables that you can view. When you scroll down in the Premier league table to look at the bottom of the table, 2 or three of the teams, don’t even show up and then when you scroll back to the top 4 or of the teams are blank. It’s been like that for the first nine games of the year EPL season. Is anybody still working on this or is it just a dead app?

EPLLive has become awful over the past three years, which is a shame, because it used to be great.

The architecture is still there, for the most part—easy-to-navigate tables and love game info. But the functionality is gone. “Live” game info comes in hours later, defeating the purpose; tables aren’t updated; news articles are far too infrequent to really matter. (The news feed sometimes won’t update for days.)

And the whole experience is hobbled by clunky full-screen ad takeovers that you can’t click out of. (The “x” in the top corner of the screen rarely works.) Only option is to force quit EPLLive and restart it.

I’m deleting. The only reason I haven’t already is because I remember how good EPLLive used to be. Clearly someone smart built it and nurtured it for a while. But clearly their budget has been slashed and EPLLive is being kept alive so the owners can squeeze out a few more ad dollars before letting it die.

EPLLive used to be absolutely fantastic. It was the first live sports app I ever downloaded. Im a huge premier league fan, and it was so cool to compare stats between players, compare stats between teams, and get live updates on games. But it changed.
They began adding more leagues to EPLLive , which is fine, but EPLLive became slower and a lot of the features I loved in regards to the premier league became neglected. Stats wouldnt update, it began glitching, and it was a slow downfall.
I ended up deleting EPLLive after 5 years of using it. Im so sad, as it used to be fantastic. My wish is that they would get rid of the other leagues and friendly matches, and just focus on the premier league. The premier league is EPLLive that made all the users come to it originally, and the recent neglect is what is causing everyone to write poor reviews and complain. Hopefully the developers listen, but if not, oh well.

For the last 3 or 4 years EPLLive was my go to for everything EPL. I loved that the matches were listed for my time zone (American EST). However, this season the match times are for some other time zone. I don’t want to do math every time my team plays and I haven’t found a way to correct the problem so I’ll probably delete it (sadly) and find another source.

Nice app but for the pass month it loads so slowly. ‘loading match data’ for 5-10 sec just to check stats for one match. Often when it stop loading, data still blank. Had to hit refresh again to wait another few seconds to load. I know it has nothing to do with my connection since I tried both on xfinity and Verizon fiber networks. I’m switching back to 365scores because it loads right away and smoothly moved from one page to another.

EPLLive has most of the features I would want in a sports app. Downside is the news is not sorted and it’s hard to find out starts by lineups prior to matches. Would be nice if the prematch info was actually informative. The developers really did not put much into that besides recalling history between the teams. There’s no real relevant info so I look other places to get that. It could be a one stop shop but sadly falls short.

I don’t understand your app. The number 1 thing I look for is the schedule to let me know what games are being played and when. The premier league takes off a lot of weekends and I’m at a loss as to whom is playing and when. My only method of seeing the fixtures is your app and at times it is not correct. I’m watching a game now with MC vs WHU on November 24 but I cannot find this game or any other on you app. I found it by channel surfing. I am in the States and I don’t have access to newspaper schedules.

The ap was much better before they added news from foreign leagues that have little or no interest to fans of the EPL. There should be an option to turn this off. Also since they made this change, notifications are late if I get them at all.
Not impressed with the update. :(

You send recap push notifications even though I’ve disabled all the types of notifications you can send me in EPLLive ’s settings. Either a bug, or you’ve hired a PM who thinks this is a great way to drive growth. Either way, I now have to disable notifications for EPLLive at the OS level because you spoil games with these recap notifications.

I have been using EPLLive for a number of years since it only had premier league games but now, they’ve found a way to incorporate all the other leagues and competitions as well as videos! I love it. Just include the Uefa Europa Conference League

Great app, favorites works well and the action data for goals is a neat new touch, had this thing for a few years and haven’t needed to look for a different app, now my main team is in the championship I’ll have to see if they keep that updated, so far it’s showing the first week is still in pregame when they’ve all finished, hopefully that will be updated soon.

Been using EPLLive for years now and it’s very handy to see when games are going to happen.
One issue is this year it has problems with refreshing. Sometimes it doesn’t update for days.

EPLLive is an excellent one… I can check premier league and the championship and everything else. …the articles they write are second to none. I recommend it to anyone interested to know anything related to football.

....the table isn’t live. It takes a while to show actual standings. Seems like the start of the game both teams are given a point because it’s obviously a tie score, but once a team goes up, the table doesn’t give the team 3 points.

The layout is top notch, very good application overall easy to use covers the latest news and whatever you need to catch up with all in just minutes fantastic app 10/10

This has been a great app for years but as of Week 2 of the new season the score updates are delayed and there are no stats. Is an update coming soon?

This is a very good app with very good articles and very good writers. It's up to date,covers so many games from all angles and has detailed stats on players' bios & stats,head to heads,short videos and more. For having so much and being free it's worth the download for a permanently spot on your home screen. The only thing missing is a TV schedule for all countries and channels. I'd never download another app just for a TV/Time Zone schedule again.

I love EPLLive but I really wish we had the option to toggle “hide scores” so we can see who played without knowing results for re watching
