Your other email addresses rejected my email. Must be a China vs USA thing. Thank you in advance for any help getting this to the proper authority. Maxthon Contact page is buggy.. Says to use less than 1000 words. My character count was under 1000 & my word count was under 200. Did not matter. It would not send. Maybe you folks can forward this to the proper department developing the Maxthon browser. Maybe I am not the only one suffering these problems. Tried for some time to update when alerted by Maxthon 7.1.7.8.000 that 7.1.8.6001 was available. I use the alert me setting instead of the auto update setting. Every attempt downloaded for a minute then gave me a failure message & to try again later. Went old school & downloaded 7.1.8.6001 (64) directly. Turned everything off & closed open files. Opened & ran 7186 as Admin. It did install clean & simply updated without destroying presets. Success but does not explain why the regular internal update process continuously failed. Thank you for continuing to provide a modern updated protected browser for us Win7 die-hards. I expect to continue getting security updates for my Win7 OS into 2026 & my Firefox ESR (main browser) ends Sep 2024. You are being converted right now into my primary browser.. There is a lot to like. Once I convert from Win7 to Zorin Pro (years from now) I will be making a new decision as to my primary browser. Maxthon will be a front runner if you provide a Linux compatible version at that time. Thank you for your time & help from Ohio, USA.
New computer Windows 11, Maxthon 7 downloaded and all passwords have disappeared. In addition it keeps crashing
Love the browser, but my new phone's Maxthon app keeps crashing while saving files. I have noticed that when the browser is restarted, the intended download file sits in download manager and does not download. Can you please help. Many thanks. M. Tung
