Sound Effects! Reviews

I work with special needs students and was very excited about having an app with fun sounds for them to have fun with for stories and music. The favorite board is okay for reqular folk but I was hoping that one could really create their own favorites and not have other preloaded choices that make choice making difficult for people with visual and motor challenges. I'd love to be able to load one sound and have one big area like the whole page populate with that one sound. Then, if a person could manipulate two sounds the page would divide into two areas with contrasting color or shades to help differentiate which is which especially if one doesn't read yet.

The other sound effects app I dowloden had 100+ sound SoundEffects had 30 sounds were fake the insane laugh sounds like shaggy from Scooby-Doo screaming and the censor button is high pitch also when you push a button too much it goes crazy it keeps flashing and you can’t turn it off SoundEffects is also boring and should be discontinued, gone and token off SoundEffects Store so if you like fake and stupid effects this is SoundEffects for you

I’d have paid for SoundEffects. It does exactly what I need it to do. Importing sounds is easy via iTunes, and everything works flawlessly.

You can get rid of ads forever for 99 cents. It’s worth It.

Had exactly what I needed (game show sound effects), made the ones I liked most easily accessible by putting in a favorites list, and has enough variation that my students won’t get bored. Thank you!!

I love this! Whenever something happens I just take out my phone and start a sound effect! Also helps if you need a conversation starter in the middle of an awkward silence

I was wanting to give SoundEffects 4.5 stars, but the ads held me back. Great job on the sounds, and the overlapping sounds, but if you want 5 stars from me, keep the ads at the bottom of the screen. It is not a good impression when you can't even see the title screen. Overall, great job. I would love to see more of your apps.

I wanted SoundEffects to see if there was a snap sound but there wasn’t any!!
And all of the sounds sounded sooooo FAKE.

It is swag,it's good to play with when you need sound affects,and you can put them in the way you want them to happen. So I technically luv dis game you should download when you're in a situation that you need this app. I personally think this is a great game because it lets you sort them like I said up earlier but it's just a really great game. So I think you should download it when you're playing things that need this app and you can use it for the game you're playing and it's really cool because it has good this app. But the only thing that really bothers me that there's only a few this app and it doesn't have many. Overall it's a great game and I think you should download it. I gave this five stars because it's overall a great game.

The ability to load your own effects into SoundEffects via iTunes by itself makes SoundEffects a strong contender in the admittedly niche category that is iPhone soundboard apps. The two things I would like to see is the ability to load SFXs from cloud services i.e. iCloud Drive and Dropbox, and additional SFX packs available as in-app purchases.

I got SoundEffects and I think the sounds well sound good but, the ppl who made this should and could add more sounds to give some variety to this application. Like some chatter or paws on hardwood some sounds to use like just for fun! It is awesome and all but it needs MORE SOUNDS!!! C'mon you ppl can do this!!! The more sounds the better. Ooh you should do the sound the tardis makes when it starts to disappear!! (Doctor Who reference) Anywho yeah!!! Get working on that!!!🐶😋😄😃😀😊☺😉😜😛😝 LOLZ!!!

My name is Aloe Small and my brothers name is jello small SoundEffects is great for revenge jello was in my room while I was changing then I went by his door and did the insane laugh and he said daddy stop then he asked me if I did it I said I aloe small promise I didn't with my fingers crossed he said yes you did and told my mom and dad Marisa Small and Pudding Small anyway best app ever!

Love SoundEffects. Great for podcasting and custom drops.

Would the ability to select multiple sounds at once to move around and also the ability to restart a sound without having to play it all the way through.

This is certainly the best of this type of app I have heard so far. Audio is really good, sounds are mostly realistic. A lot of thought went into this design. The sounds could be longer ( that's the shortest air horn I've ever heard 😴) but it rates a 5 in all around design and execution. 👍

I love SoundEffects. It has great sounds and options to choose from. I think it should have some more sounds though. (My opinion) maybe like animal sounds or loud splashing water sounds :) I hope there is a new update soon. Otherwise, I love SoundEffects!

It's probably the best sound effect app out there. It has a lot of classic sounds like joke rim shot. I used it for my classes play and everyone was laughing! The new update made it way better. I would definitely buy SoundEffects!

I enjoy SoundEffects very much for its entertainment value. It'd be really nice if it had the ability to send specific fx to a computer or to a friends phone. Overall in satisfied with SoundEffects, but hopefully improvements can be carried through.
