Absolute RC Simulator Reviews

The flight modeling when hovering is ignoring center of gravity and the fact that the model will hang from the prop. A real model won’t slowly tend to tumble in space in a hover with the weight of the plane all below the prop. AbsoluteRCSimulator treats the model like a single node like a big ball in the air with no up or down bias. The crash is ridiculous. Brushing a wingtip creates an explosion of parts, after which I can sometimes continue flying while missing major parts. Did anyone who developed this ever actually fly a model? AbsoluteRCSimulator is good for the most basic orientation but little else.

With RC simulator being able to test out a drone or RC plane, car or boat is easy in the game but challenging in real life. If this game were simulating real life it would have more mechanics and buttons but it simply has two levers on either side of the screen. Many RC models have multiple buttons and options to choose from but this game lacks many of them. Another problem with the game is the terrible graphics. With these graphics come other problems. Glitchy graphics means glitchy hit boxes meaning your plane, car, drone or boat could crash without hitting anything at all. Some of these can be seen on the separate islands on “Desert Island 2”. Without these flaws this game would be very good in my book.

It’s incredible to have a mobile RC simulator in particular. This sim is the real deal with devs that knew what they were doing! It’s not just about planes, it’s everything RC! I’ve gotten WAY better with planes playing on this simulator on my free time. Amazing sim!!!!

(Edit: I’ve had AbsoluteRCSimulator for a while, way too many ads. I’m not joking every time you press the screen some loooooonnnnnggggggg advertisement comes up. Also now I fly real RC planes with friends, rudder doesn’t really work like a real rudder. It’s more of an aileron.)

Ok so I’ve only been playing for a week or so and it is great! However it needs some major improvements. Like when you are flying and in the air, the game tends to make you go higher and turn instead of letting yourself control the plane. Also when you are playing with the boat RC, when you jump the landing is totally unrealistic you should smooth that out with the RC car too. Also, there should be ways to earn more Planes, Helicopters, Boats, and Cars like racing against a really good computer to win a car. You should really add some of those into this game. Overall this is a really good game but maybe relax a little bit on the ads. Great game!

This game is great for anyone who wants to get a trainer rc plane, or an off-road rc car! The graphics are somewhat strange, and the noise for some of the vehicles is simply unnecessary, but the controls are sufficient! I gave this game 4 stars because of the lack of vehicles, and the fields you can drive or fly at. If you don't buy anything: There are 2 planes, 2 Helicopters, 1 quadcopter, 2 boats, and 2 cars. I would give this game more stars, if there were more planes. Thanks for making this game tho, would sorta recommend it. Anyway, see about this game for yourself! And, stay safe! Mask up!

i have been playing for several years now and i love the game! i will buy some new planes soon but i just wanted to tell you that the ad bar at the top takes away the speed and altitude of the plane so you cant see how fast or how high you are. i would appreciate if you could fix this problem. Thanks! update: the b25 cant land with flaps it just nose dives into the ground i tried with and without flaps and it seems the flaps are the problem. just wanted to add that thanks.

So… the game is really good and it’s very well-made, but it needs less advertisements. After a crash and before starting, there’s always an ad playing. If there were fewer ads, that’d be delightful! Another thing, there should really be more vehicle options available to the player. Being limited to the current vehicles is kinda bad, especially when it’s only 2-3 vehicles of each category. 2 cars, 2 boats, 2 planes, 2 helicopters, and 1 drone. There should really be more options.

Recently bought my first aircraft irl and I've put some money into it. I want to get the basics of flying down so I at least don't crash it first time. Only thing holding me back is how the elevators are push to go down and pull to go up. (I know that's how it is in full scale and it makes sense to most people) i physically and mentally can not get over it, trying to land my and make a small change to the aircraft i automatically do the opposite of what I should've. Just wish there were more in depth control settings.

This is honestly one of the best games I have ever played and I have a lot of fun playing it. The only problem I have with it is that a lot of the vehicles cost money but that doesn’t really bother me. I actually bought one! I have the F-16 Thunderbolt! Honestly I will probably continue playing this game for a long time! Keep it up! If you wanna know about why I love it so much (Well I already told you why but I have another reason), is because of how good the physics are. I once crashed and lost a wing, but I kept flying (which is possible), but only for a second before it went spinning and I lost control. Then I crashed.

The his sim is great, and has many more features that others that make it very realistic. The wind is super controllable, the crash physics are pretty realistic, and I absolutely love that this has an fpv setting. Overall, I think the customization of this sim makes it better that others, and the options it has makes it, in my opinion, the best mobile flight trainer. The con is a little glitch in most of the maps when you’re in the fpv mode that makes the ground just infinite grass textures. Love this sim!

I rate this 5 because of the planes and the graphics but one problem almost all of the vehicles are for sale and I don’t like games when you have to purchase things with real cash because every time I ask my dad he says no same goes for mom but they both say it’s stupid to purchase something with real life money in a game. And I really want that A 10 warthog so can you at least make the planes free? Or put them for sale with in game currency? You can still use the real life credit cash thing if people aren’t patient enough to get in game currency plus you’ll make more money selling in game currency because some people isn’t that patient enough to play the game and get currency in game but yeah you could do that idea or the planes being free if I were you I would do the in game currency idea cuz that could get you money as well. But choose one if these ideas please?

This simulator does exactly what I wanted to help me get better at rc flying without paying exorbitant amounts for real flight and a transmitter. I found you can pair an Xbox or PlayStation controller to your iPhone/ipad and cast to a TV for a great setup. The ads are too often and obnoxious on the free version, and it doesn’t advertise that buying the $2.99 version will eliminate ads but it does. I had to search the game in AbsoluteRCSimulator Store to buy the $2.99 version - I did not see a link within the free version.

There is a minor glitch when setting up controller in AbsoluteRCSimulator - when you go to “controls”, it defaults to “touch”. Choose “gamepad” and then calibrate it. Follow the pictures of the sticks rather than the words, because it will say put right stick right when it means left stick right. Happy flying!

I’m a huge fan of flying crazy planes and helicopters and boats. This game really suits my flying instincts, but just one thing. Could you make it to where you don’t have to use real money to buy the remote control vehicles and aircraft but make the game to where you can receive gold and silver by completing missions and stuff and change the purchase of aircraft and vehicles from real money to gold and silver. And make it to where you receive silver as well as gold after every mission. That’s all

So I’ve had this game for a few months now and I am addicted to it. But I just have some ideas that would make the game a lot better. 1. You should add racing and campaign with planes, helicopters, rc cars and the boats for coins. Then you could use those to buy the planes etc. with them instead of having to use real money (including the maps). 2. I really think you should add multiplayer so people could fly the planes and do stunts with them and show off. So I hope you consider adding these recommendations in a future update, Thank you for reading.

The free introductory version of AbsoluteRCSimulator is very ad intensive. However, for the astronomical cost of $2.99 a person can buy the Mitsubishi zero and never have to see an ad ever again on both of the zero and the trainer models. I see people complaining on here about all the ads… Nice things cost a little bit of money, folks. Even apps… that’s the cost of a bottle of soda. AbsoluteRCSimulator is a lot of fun… As I am not an RC flyer I can’t tell you if it’s realistic or not. Maybe others can.

I’ve been around R/C planes since the mid 70’s and if I could have learned aircraft control with AbsoluteRCSimulator back then I certainly would have saved tons of money and many tears from crashing my planes!
AbsoluteRCSimulator is not easy to start learning with but that is important to understand. Actually flying an R/C plane for the first time is darn near impossible to do successfully. With maybe 20 hours on AbsoluteRCSimulator, I believe it is MUCH more possible to fly one’s own plane relatively safely.
The Supermarine Spitfire is absolutely gorgeous to fly! Super smooth, quick yet predictable, a blast inverted, and is my favorite.
Just turn off autopilot and “follow” with the camera and have fun!

This is as much a labor of love as it is a game/simulator. As a matter of personal taste, I rarely play games with touchscreen controls...I just don’t like em’. But you can’t help but be impressed by the level of detail and effort this game wastes no time in showing. The physics are great, the depth is amazing, and the replay value off the charts! If you’re learning real RC, this is that much more valuable. You can tweak everything, making the switch to real world control a cinch. Very well executed game, and most important-it’s a lot of fun .

so i have a few ideas to this game here is one ☝️ what if you were able to make your own rc car, helicopter, plane, boat, or drone and maybe you guys could make a obstacle course for some of them for free noticing how you have to pay 💰 for the full version but that would be good 👍 and another thing this game could REALLY use a training map so you could well you know train but overall this game is really fun and i would recommend it👌🏻

I’ve had AbsoluteRCSimulator for about 5 years. It plays great on my iPad. I ve never flown an RC plane so I can’t say how accurate it is but it’s lots of fun ! I’ve bought several of the upgraded planes but the P- 51 flys so beautifully I can’t rip myself away from it to play with the others enough to rate them. The free plane is great for learning too because it’s a little under powered and slow to react which is a good learning tool. By
the way I strongly recommend changing the control rates to “medium” as it’s pretty hard to complete an aerobatic maneuver of any kind without crashing with control rates set to low (the default setting). Best o All, every time I go back to use AbsoluteRCSimulator after a few months, they’ve made it even better ! Now it has SMOKE !!

This game would have been a perfect 10/10 or 5 stars, but the adds and micro transactions have ruined the game first off, every time you crash is a ad, every 50 seconds there’s a ad no matter what and we are not even getting started about micro transactions EVERY SINGLE PLANE IS 2 DOLLARS alright, there are 2 games that you don’t have to buy, but those one are super tiny and don’t even look nearly as cool as the other RC planes! And if you try to buy them all, is 20 whole dollars. Now that just sound like a cash grab with all the adds and payments, but there is so much more. Like the fields, THEY PAY YOU TO HAVE FEILDS TO! and they all look so ugly without having to pay to race you planes. It’s like EA just made this game, horrible. Just horrible. Update: THERES NO WAY TO TURN THEM OFF and I just wanna say that every time you try and start the game, there’s a add, and every 20 seconds, and once I crash my plane, I have to mentally prepare for the add to pop up, it makes the game not fun once there’s adds, and to much adds will make me delete the game entirely. This was my childhood, and they ruined it. I will no longer be playing this game. Update: well I heard you can buy anything and there will be no adds with stock planes, STOCK PLANES noooo, not the planes YOU PAID FOR! Just the plain and old boring ones. 👏🙌👏🙌👏 congrats on ruining the game.
