can not login with facebook after this update

I downloaded a new update and logged in for some reason the game is called fish masters and not fishing superstars but when I logged in alll my progress was gone GONE 3 years of grinding just for it to all go down the DRAIN the game was fine why WHY

Game was good at first but developers are more worried about costumes than content. I've played till there are no more fish to catch or areas to open and now they are even making the game more lame by changing the screens to the same bubble background as the aquarium. The game is going backwards and the bugs are still there and unless you're Asian don't expect to be on any leader boards. It's fun for a few minutes but I wouldn't waste any money or much time on it. There are better games and developers out there who listen to the Western players as well as the eastern players. All of us players over level 65 have no content and lose money because repairs become more than the gold you can make selling fish. It's just hit the end I think. Game over, fk you gamevil for caring about Asian players and money instead of making this a great game for all.

Crashes constantly , I never had an app crash so much . It's impossible to make any progress with this MAJOR bug . There is no way you could have play tested this . Also would be much better if you could actually reel in the lure and entice the fish to strike .

You know like you do when you really fish lol . I'll give more stars when the constant crashing is fixed and the game becomes playable .

C'mon Gamevil , fix this buggie ASAP I really want to play this game - it really has potential . Even though I think it's restarded that you can't reel your lure , I still like the fishing mechanics even though they are very simplified from most other fishing sims . lol well all iOS fishing games are , but some you can actually reel in the lure and set drag and depth .

And I'm on a touch 4g 5.2 and of course the touch only has wi fi so the crashing has nothing to do with that .

I've tried to pick it up a couple of times and just caught the bonus fish of the day and it immediately crashed after I landed it and once again I received no reward ( happened twice on the daily bonus fish ) . So it is quite unplayable in my opinion with it crashing 9 out of 10 times after I land the fish . Yes you get the experience but no reward and I can't even tell sometimes what or how big the fish was .

It's impossible to upgrade your fishing rod to the max level, even if you use the amulets of success it still fails. After it fails it try's to make you go down 3 levels or you have to repair it for stars. I'm trying to complete that competition that your having and I have been playing every day to receive scrolls, but my rod is only on level 10. I was at 14 but my rod failed to upgrade. I needed 2 more stars than I had to repair it. Y'all took away the ads you could use to obtain stars and I'm not spending money on any mobile game. But the thing is that y'all have been having this problem for years and y'all knew it. What do y'all do? Y'all create an event that requires upgrades and see if it magically fixes itself.

Game is overloaded with things to keep track of and to manage/purchase. Not to mention, you unlock things as you progress as you level and they’re nowhere to be found in your inventory or mailbox. It’s a conundrum of imbalance.
It could be fun if it was balanced and easier to manage, but it’s so weighed down that there is just no way when there are way better alternatives on FishingSuperstars Store.

I played this when it first came out and loved it! Rediscovered it recently and looked forward to playing it again, however the games servers are too slow to play the game seriously. Please allocate more data for this game! I would pay to make this happen. Thanks!

I love this game! It’s pretty fun and I love the idea of a fishing rpg. I have one huge problem tho. One that will keep me from playing this game. I can’t ever complete limited time purchases. No matter how I try to get ahold of the devs they never answer. I just want to be able to spend a little money. Fifty bucks here or there, because I enjoy the game that much but I don’t have time to grind all the stuff I want. So that’s it really. If they ever get ahold of me maybe I’ll change my review. But for now I’m going to have to shelve it.

Pay to play sums it up. At level 28 they stop giving you stars. The daily challenges for stars require high level areas that are out of reach. Fun while it lasted

The artwork is okay, but the graphics could be more realistic. I like that there's a lot of variety in the fish you can catch. The preferred baits thing doesn't make much sense though, especially because fish like bass and redfish will bite a wide variety of baits in real life. And at the beginning of the game, why does a fish that's only 15 CENTIMETERS long put up such a hard fight??? I could pull that in with no effort at all in real life! What are you starting out with, a cane pole and line weaker than 1 lb. test??? Another thing I was disappointed with is that the aquarium part doesn't look like an aquarium at all. I was expecting a nice display of all your aquarium fish together in a tank, not a stupid list of all your aquarium fish. What a let down! And what's the deal with buying bait? Once you buy a new bait, you should get an unlimited amount of it. It's a pain to have to save up more money to buy more bait. No matter what your in-app purchases should just be an OPTION, not a requirement to advance in the game. The player should have the choice of whether or not he/she wants to spend real money on the game.

I've been playing this game for a while (a few years), and this is still my favorite fishing game. It's fun, can present quite a challenge, has great gameplay and graphics, and there's lots to unlock. I do have two concerns that I would like to be addressed:

1. Lack of cloud storage for save data. I would like to play the game on a new device with a newer operating system, but without cloud storage (like linking to Game Center), I may eventually be unable to play the game.

2. Revealing outfits. While I would honestly prefer none of the outfits to be revealing (especially since the game is rated 4+; honestly, if I had a 9-year-old, I wouldn't want him/her playing this game for the reason of the revealing outfits), I would at least like them to be where and in a way that I don't have to see them (the beginner's tutorial is something that I believe should change, for example; I was able to see the tutorial because I was attempting to see if the game would prompt me to use my game data from the other device).

Like I said before, this is a great game, and I'm looking forward to the game becoming better and better.

(Also, I'm running a version of the game that is earlier than 5.2.2, in case it shows that this review is for version 5.2.2.)

I just upgraded my iPhone to an iPhone 6 from a iPhone 5. Supposedly all was up loaded to iCloud to save everything. But when the Verizon store down loaded all my info and apps I discovered I don't have my fishing superstars v-3 back in the original status I had attained. I have to start all over again from level 1. I was on level 59! I lost all contacts with friends and can't find my Guild team! My team was Seawolves with my player name as Docjim MC. My Master on the game was Nucky or Nuckey. This totally upsets me as I have been playing this game for about three years! HELP HELP!!!!!

I had written a review before the first update and was not all too impressed, which was indicated by the two stars i had given it. Now the game is much better, I am experiencing far fewer crashes than before and am actually getting somewhere in the game. It's quite enjoyable and I like to get on at least once a day, but now I'm encountering a new problem with item requests. Every time I click on a gift to receive it, or help a friend, it says there is either a problem with the network or there exists invalid data, and then I'm sent back to the title screen. Hopefully this does not persists and is only temporary.

Solid fishing game and lots of rewards to keep you coming back!

Love this game but recent update made app crash please fix asap. Other than that this game is awesome. So many prizes so much fun to play. Always a challenge.

good game

This is a great game, honestly it's the only game that I play on my phone. Leveling up takes some time, but the more you play the easier it is to make money. The only problem with the game is how unrealistic it is... A 4 foot long bass? Also, it would be cool to get stars for having one of the top 3 daily fish lengths (there really doesn't seem to be a purpose behind this other than self pride). Anyway, great game!

I love the Superstar series, and always have since some of the first releases on iPhone 4. I miss Soccer superstars it was by far the best game you guys had made. Maybe think about bringing it back would ya? I would love to play it again especially with the advancement of phones since then I bet you guys could work wonders! Again thanks this is an awesome game, keep up the great work!
