Gun Movie FX Reviews

I know other people have mentioned the bright flash the developers recently added. They basically took everything that was good about GunMovieFX and put a censor over it with the stupid flash. GunMovieFX is now unusable unless you only plan to edit flash bangs into your films. Even smoke feels the need to melt my eyes.

(Only five stars so you would read)You have to pay twenty dollars just to pay more. Why the heck do you have to spend ten dollars to get blood or bullet hits or blah blah blah. Also is just me or is it NEVER WORKING. It’s like I get on GunMovieFX to make a movie, I put in the video and it just wouldn’t work. Loading, and loading, it’s never working. If it worked and all the other effects were not a fortune maybe GunMovieFX would be decent. But the makers of GunMovieFX need to change it. It might be worth it if you have really great internet. If you are a hardcore movie maker like me, spend your time on another app. GUN MOVIE FX NEVER WORKS

I’ve used GunMovieFX for years and I’ve stayed patient throughout the various bugs and glitches however this time nothing has changed and the bug hasn’t been fixed. When I add any visual affect it blows up the image for a few frame turning up the exposure all the way. App is not usable until this is resolved.

I am writing a 4th review. I saw that you guys updated the bug but I don’t know if it works because GunMovieFX won’t load any of my videos it just loads for hours never stoping even for very small videos. It’s completely broken again.

I love it when it works hasn’t been working for a few weeks now and support isn’t responding to my messages. I also hate the fact that after buying GunMovieFX for 9.99 you have to purchase everything else. I have bought 3 other add ons that have yet to be restored after reinstalling GunMovieFX . Would love support to get back to me sometime soon seeing I’m $40 plus invested already and will gladly amend this review when their support team responds to me, GunMovieFX is working again, and my in app purchases are restored. But to be fair, it’s great when it works.

This is a good app for starting out editing movies with guns… but it does have problems, it has recently been adding a weird yellow glow to my videos when I try to add an effect. And when I updated to iOS 18 GunMovieFX just stopped working for me.

there is a bug right now. That really needs to be fixed when you put down a gun fx it puts a big flash in the background. This is very bad because sometimes I don’t need that flash, but also it does the same for shotgun shells. Bullet shells and bullet hits. I would also like more angles for gunshots. and fire FX along with explosions, dust explosions, and gas explosions.

Every time now I try and make a movie it just loads and loads and loads and so on. Why? Y’all got to fix this problem. I want to make a movie for my channel and it won’t work I don’t know why but it’s just so annoying. Please fix it. Tho it’s amazing when it works. But fix my loading problem. It’s really annoying.

This stupid app keeps making everything light up and doesn’t show the mussel flash so screw GunMovieFX

Projects don’t build, don’t know why. And I’m GunMovieFX used to be cheap for effects, it’s way over charging for effects. Not everyone is dropping $70+ for effects. If it was all $29 I would buy it, if it lets me build and export a project.

why did i have to pay 20$ to also be charged for the 10 individual packs of fx? then also be asked if i wanted a membership for 9.99 a month so access the packs if i didn’t want to buy them individually? 20$ for a bunch of muzzle flares and a few sound fx? it’s a good app and do enjoy it but 20$ is a little steep to just charge more money with only 1 pack of fx

The sound on my app quit working so I had to uninstall and reinstall and it made me repurchase GunMovieFX and I lost all my purchases, anything can be done about that??

GunMovieFX is fun and cool to make movies with but when I created one that took me SO long to make and edit, I clicked build movie and it JUST WOULD NOT BUIlD. I would like wait for 10 min and In that 10 min it would just cancel on its own. I don’t know why or how but it needs to be fixed.

I just downloaded GunMovieFX and I’ve been wanting it for a very long time but I can’t even play it like a bruh just fix GunMovieFX right now I need to use it for my movies never mind it’s been a few days now finally works

GunMovieFX is great don’t get me wrong, but every time I put an edit down, there’s a weird flash, even when it’s just a bullet going into the ground, plz tell me how to fix or fix

Newest Review: I had an older review where I gave this a two out of five stars. The problem I had was GunMovieFX wasn’t loading any of my videos into GunMovieFX . My friend told me that it probably only worked on an iPad. Luckily, I had an iPad, or else it would have been a waste of money. GunMovieFX is totally worth it if you have an iPad handy! Even if there are a ton of add-ons that should probably be included with buying GunMovieFX . If you are getting GunMovieFX, warning, GunMovieFX only works on the iPad. It does not work on any other device. Really good app and look forward to using it more! 5 out of 5!

From what I have seen from my friend’s phone, GunMovieFX is pretty darn good. I decided I needed this for my stop motion career. Minus how you have to buy GunMovieFX , only to have to buy add-ons, it’s great. But there is one issue so far. Loading. Has taken way too long. If that gets fixed I’ll be set. Also, a little side note to the developers. If you want to make GunMovieFX better, make it free and keep the add-ons same price. Also, respond and look at feedback more frequently. Other than that, a pretty darn good app so far! Four out Five stars.

OK, so where I wanted this I wanted to make my movies with it but then after when I do an effect there’s like this stupid flash how do I remove it? Please respond!!!!!!!!!!

GunMovieFX is wonderful and hope it gets more and better updates, very fun making movies and using all the different fx.

I’ve waited years for GunMovieFX to work like it used to and I’m so happy to have it back!
So far it runs very smooth with no glitches.
I’ll be buying the new fx soon too.
Thank you guys for not giving up on it!
