Pros:
-seems like almost all the comics from IDW as well as the reprints from Mirage are available.(still no Bodycount mini series :\ )

-1 click purchasing available

-intuitive touch controls (tap left or right edges to go back or forward [depending on orientation], tap center for scaling, etc)

Cons:
-some items you want to buy say 'Waiting' , with no explanation as to what that means or when it will be available

-when first hitting 'Read' on some books you own it will flash 'Update Available', clicking it will start a download that doesn't complete or if it does, it will prompt the same update dialogue

-some books seem to have duplicate pages

-the store pages aren't easy to navigate. When you are first looking in the store you can see all the categories, but the only way to access it again is random ones shown at the bottom of the page for a book you are looking at. The only way to see the categories is to hit back until you are on the very first store page

-related to the store issue above, the search feature is only on the very first store page. That is inconvenient and a bad design decision

Overview:
-Comic reading is well done in TMNTComics

-Large selection of books from both IDW and the reprints of Mirage

-store has some functionality issues that make the user experience lacking (may be better to buy on the desktop site and read it on TMNTComics )

-the books always trying to update is frustrating

Pros: The discounts for reading the comics digitally are amazing. I don’t read any other digital comics, so using TMNTComics vs the IDW or ComiXology app is nice.

Cons: Since TMNTComics removed the guided reading feature, it is far less enjoyable to use. It seems to log me out often. To search for comics is annoying and convoluted.

Thoughts: I imagine they don’t make enough money from TMNTComics to have a highly paid development team. I follow IDWs main turtle series, but haven’t been invested enough to subscribe, so regardless of how I read them, digital is cheap and convenient. I also wanted to read some Archie and Tales of the TMNT, but not enough to buy at full retail and I care too much to illegally download because I want to support them publishing these.

I've been using TMNTComics for 2 years and I absolutely love it. Once a new issue comes out I can download it. I did have an issue with downloading and I would constantly try to download a new issue. Sometimes it would take 3-4 days just to download a issue. I would get so frustrated. After the update I haven't had problems so that's a plus. The only problem I have with the update is the guided reading feature has been removed and that was the best feature for TMNTComics. I have to constantly zoom in and out. It's a bit annoying. Please bring the guided reading back and TMNTComics will be 5 stars.

I love TMNTComics. It's great. :) but I am getting tired of TMNTComics continuously logging me out of my account. Every time I open it I log in to my comixology account and if I close TMNTComics for even 2 minutes it asks me to log back in. I don't know if other people are experiencing this issue, but I would greatly appreciate it if TMNTComics could keep me logged in to my account. Really, it's the only reason I can't give TMNTComics the 5 stars it deserves.

I’ve read #1-70 and most of the spin-offs. Easily the best series I’ve ever read. Of any comic. I hope it goes to 1000.

I was born in the year of 1990, so the only exposure I had to the turtles was the arcade game in a movie theatre, and the going out of style cartoon series. Regardless, I got hooked and immediately identified with Donnie. But as I grew up and heard that, like all the good superhero shows of the 90's, they started out as a comic book. This left me distraught, as I grew up in a small city with no comic/hobby shop that I knew of, even after moving, I could never find a comic of the turtles. TMNTComics is a great thing to have happened.

If you love TMNT, you should buy TMNTComics. It's easy to use, and doesn't crash that often (by that I mean once every few months, at least for me anyway). If you are new to comics and are not sure if you want to spend the 2-to-8 dollars on them right away, they do have a few free ones for you to get your feet wet. I have been using TMNTComics one year now, and have really enjoyed the great read all these comics are. Cowabunga!!!

I love and live for TMNTComics! I can read any of the Turtle comics I get whenever I want!!! (Seriously, the comics alone take up 1.8 GB on my iPod Touch, but it's totally worth it!) The only problem I have with TMNTComics is that it tends to crash pretty often. Otherwise, don't change a thing except keep adding the comics!!! 😆😆😆

I've been using TMNTComics for a while now and it works great for me. I haven't read any of the comics before so I started from issue 1. I appreciate the feature to purchase the next issue when finished reading previous issue.
