Having problems

I purchased the digital subscription and it says I don’t have access. Company has known for two weeks but it hasn’t been corrected. Hoping to change this rating eventually when I get what I paid for.

Great content, app lacking

I'm a huge fan of the content of this magazine. In fact, I'd go as far to say that it's my favorite magazine that I read monthly. Great writers, topics I want to hear about and insight into the exciting and ever growing field of trail running. However, where it lacks is in experience. It basically feels like I'm just reading a PDF. This is not what iPads are for... I could read a PDF anywhere. What I want to see is a feature-rich app experience that has the articles in a vertical view with active hyper-linked content that links to other parts of the issue as well as external sites. I also want active content that updates throughout the month, not just a static page of content. Wired mag and runners world do a fantastic job at this, for example. Overall I still love this magazine and look forward to future updates to make it even better.

Good running magazine on iPad

One of the few magazines providing iPad version to print subscribers.
Not the best tablet magazine, but quite alright.

Great magazine; HORRIBLE interface

Short version: skip this digital version and stick with the print edition.

When it worked, TrailRunnerMagazine was okay. My main issue was the extremely poor quality of the images. The magazine was readable, but the images were extremely over-compressed (or something), and so very pixelated. A pity on a retina display (even a standard one, for that matter).

Then...TrailRunnerMagazine crashed, I had to reinstall and was unable to restore my purchases. There's a button to do that, but it doesn't actually do anything. Messages to customer support have gone unanswered. Terrible terrible terrible.

So now I have a paid subscription that I can't do anything with. I'll likely send Apple a note as we'll to see if that does any good, but it makes me sad that such a good magazine would have affiliated themselves with such a HORRIBLE digital magazine provider.

Great Magazine Great App!

I have zero clue as to what other reviewers are complaining about! TrailRunnerMagazine works as expected. All content is top notch and well researched. I can’t wait for the next issue and read it cover to cover as soon as I can. Have never had an issue. Please continue your digital content!

Can I have what I paid for?!?

1st years subscription never worked or downloaded my issues, then it auto renews and won't let me cancel! I wouldn't mind having 2 years worth of issues, if I could download ANY of them. It's says to hit the "restore purchases" option... and nothing happens.

DO NOT GET THIS!!!

Not unless they plan on allowing us to download the issues we've already paid for. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!! Go get the hard copy version at the store instead. :(

Very disappointing

This is my first pocket mag product. I should have listened to other reviewers. I had a lot of trouble downloading the first issue a few weeks ago but was very pleased when it finally worked. Today TrailRunnerMagazine will not open at all. I tried to reinstall as stated on the help page and TrailRunnerMagazine won't reinstall correctly. This was the only place I could find the digital subscription. The review is making me give it a star to post-

Doesn't work

While I can download TrailRunnerMagazine , it does not recognize me or give me access to my subscription. Customer service through PocketMag is not at all helpful.

Won't give a download of users choice

TrailRunnerMagazine description says TrailRunnerMagazine includes the download of an issue of the readers choice. It does not provide this. It gives a sample issue, but tries to charge for all others. It also doesn't appear there is a way to buy bundles of back issue like the description says. I'm a little peeved I paid two bucks for the sample issue most mags provide for few.

Trail Crusher

If you're a runner, this magazine is a must read. I feel for any supposed runner who doesn't read this. Oh won't regret this purchase...

The "go to" trail runner's pages

Everything is there from gear and gadgets to nutrition to tips to inspiration to places and more. As a trail runner you have to have it!!

Great but photos blurry

I really love this magazine. The text is sharp, but why are the images so blurry? I will have to cancel if this doesn't get fixed, sorry.

The best magazine for trail runners

Slightly expensive, but well worth the price for any trail runner. Always in depth and covers a wide range of topics.

Awesome

Trailrunner magazine is a must read for all those off road runners and those runners wishing to ditch the streets, cars, and noise

Great read

Amazing magazine!
