All this does is use certain surfaces as an absolute reference point by which to position and orientate a 3D object like an STL, and by moving the iPhone or reference paper you can reorient the view of the 3D model... poorly. As a very gimmicky way of "overlaying" a 3D view of an object onto the live view of the iPhone's camera, it's cute. As a 3D model viewer it is awful. I used it 3-4 times and uninstalled it because it serve no real function.

For some reason your app does not have an icon in the settings panel all my downloaded apps are there except for this one I’m not sure if this should be of concern because your app does list requirements needed.. ex: Location etc…

Augment use to have a search bar and I could use it for generac generators. Search bar has been removed so I can no longer use Augment for generators.

Fantastic, the realistic objects but almost everything I this app just floats where my camera was, even if I move, it still just floats and I can’t move it or scale it, I can’t do anything to it. Please fix this, it makes me me so angry. Please fix this!

I like Augment, but I have some suggestions... Can you guys make an update for Augment that allows people to pose ar characters' arms and stuff? Can you guys also fix the grey-out on stuff? Also, it shows an add another model option, but it just keeps only showing the one that was put in view first! I'd also like to see an upload background option. Can you guys also add the ability to equip ar characters with objects?

It's a great app. Great idea. Great technology. But the trackers don't really work. When you move around in the real world it doesn't affect the ar except for if you turn which isn't really that fun. It just needs some improvement.

It works perfectly, at least better then any other augmented reality thing out there. and especially considering the iPhone's limitations, it's not gonna get much better the. This for a few years.

Augment is great. The only things I have to say are tips:
-add a commenting section on each model
-make it a little more accessible/more explained on how to upload models and animated models. My models keep showing up all black :/ but I know it's pilot error.

this is the only AR app that let's you easily upload your own 3d models and use your own trackers. What would make it even better would be the ability to use more than 1 object with a separate tracker.

This really is the future. Make sure you create a tracker to really nail things in place. This is the stop just before holograms. I don't have a business need for it, but it really is an entertaining app. I do see tons of eval world applications for it beyond entertainment.

Augment is the most advanced app I've ever gotten in my whole life! It has tons of models that are put on by people and you can even put on your own! When I move the model back, it actually knows where walls are and go through them! I recommend this for ANYONE who likes REALLY COOL APPS.

With all apps there is something that could be better. However it is all personal preference. Augment is extremely fun and simple to use. Simply find a uniquely designed surface such as the back of a playing card, make it a marker, and boom. Magic. Very impressed.

Augment works great for displaying your own 3D models as well. Converted from Solidworks, my models can be held in my hand with the wallet targets, very cool for a customer to view it from every angle!
One recommendation would be the ability to video record what you're viewing... This would allow someone holding a target to explain a product while holding it "virtually" in their hand!

This is an awesome app/service that will truly add a new dimension to marketing our products. We are able to gone two dimension and one step closer to holographic visualization. The software is easy enough for our clients and all they have to do is take home one of our catalogs at trade shows. I think the tracking has potential and look forward with the ability to annotate parts in the 3d model.
