JapaneseDictionary came in so handy while in Japan. JapaneseDictionary and google translate together and you can get around

Nice layout of menu, and fairly easy to navigate. Translator dictionary is good sized, and display of Asian characters has been very accurate (as I've been told). The pronunciation audio option is a great offline feature and also works well without delays. However, the crucial feature to scan characters with phone camera isn't working right. Mine is stuck on English, and is missing the "Other" button as shown in the help screen. It does immediately recognize Romanji (English) with a red targeting frame, but I really need it to see the Asian characters. Emailed developer quite a ago but no response. Would rate higher if that feature worked, otherwise it's just like similar offline dictionaries.

Ok so don’t get me wrong JapaneseDictionary is the most amazing thing but I think it’s a little had to use but besides that good can you app a keyboard option ok that’s all bye

JapaneseDictionary gives the incorrect translation to words. I looked up 親切 but it gave me the translation for 不親切 instead.

I purchased JapaneseDictionary and it doesn’t work. Don’t buy it. I payed the 2.99 but JapaneseDictionary stopped functioning.

There is no dictionary for Romanzi. Can you add Romanzi to make this Dictionary more useful.

I really like the word of the day because it was something I tried to do with my Japanese dictionary but kept forgetting to do it in the morning before I left for school or work. I absolutely love JapaneseDictionary.

I enjoy JapaneseDictionary's convenience, but noticed a potentially misleading and detrimental fault; in the "hiragana" pronunciation section, sometimes there will be a kanji missing from the word entry; i.e. "不" will be in the hiragana section as "ふ" but the actual character will not be there; so for beginners especially this could be potentially very misleading; just take note of this as you use!

I won't pay extra to hear a single pronunciation - that's just not OK

If the charge is a one-time overall charge, then it would be worth it. But the messages are unclear asking for $1.99 to hear an audio pronunciation... It appears to be a charge for the single word pronunciation. In that case - outrageous! If it is for unlimited audio, then make that very clear and you will sell much more.

Good app, maybe better from JP into EN. Lots of words, 2/3 you will never use. Can't copy text, little to no help pronouncing kanji, search by kana doesn't always work... look up an EN noun and find only the verb... Frustrating, but I willingly paid to upgrade, and it helps me every day.

It's a nice app to have and use if you are studying japanese , especially if you need to look up a word or words, it also great that you get a word of the day. Hehe I am glad I have it ( ^ - ^ )

It might be a good program, with all the categories and choices. However, I am really turned off, after purchasing an app to have a multilayered sales pitch for added services interfere with me using JapaneseDictionary from the beginning. When I buy a book, nobody tells me I can't open it until I spend more money.

I like being able to search pretty much any word and see it translated to Japanese. It shows multiple ways to spell the word as we'll as how to pronounce it.

Allows me to learn new words everyday and even practice them. This is great!

I found the Japanese Dictionary by Google search. It turned out to be a great find! The "Word Of the Day" is great way to expose yourself to new words and increase your Japanese vocabulary with ease. Overall, the dictionary and "Word Of the Day" are a great supplement to the study program that I use.

JapaneseDictionary is wonderful and amazing, the downside is that you'll have to pay for some certain things, but it's worth it if you're trying to learn by yourself

I like how it gives you a word of the day and the games would be great if there were more people using JapaneseDictionary to play with. All around, I'm satisfied with all his app has to offer. It's helpful.
