ContactsDusterPro just tries to make you post on Facebook for it. States you can do thousands but it never will delete all the duplicates unless you upgrade to pro. So I did upgrade and would you know it still will not clean the rest of my contacts. Always leaves about 13% duplicates. If ContactsDusterPro would actually finish the job it would be good but as it stands I say garbage. Give me back my money for Pro since you still will not do as advertised. I have tried several of these apps. This is the worse by far.

I tried multiple contact merge apps and this is the only one that worked and automatically merged my 300 duplicated contacts. The other apps had me to it one by one or I had to upgrade ContactsDusterPro for auto merge.

I actually paid money for ContactsDusterPro to create hundreds of bad contacts in my address book. It took several hundred of my contacts and inserted MY address into these records. So far, I have found 6 more sets of dozens of contacts with another persons address added. ContactsDusterPro is probably fine if just have a few hundred apps, but I urge you not to run ContactsDusterPro if you have several thousand contacts. My iPhone has 64Gb--plenty of room to perform any task. BEWARE.

I used to have a positive attitude towards ContactsDusterPro due to its usefulness, however lately you get inundated with ads and force-fed redirects to Facebook and annoying video ads whose sole purpose are to line the pockets of this unscrupulous developer. This is annoying, new customers beware!

This tool did most of the heavy lifting. I did some manual changes but was expected due to a pretty jacked up contact list

But is also deleted some of my contacts. I had some duplicate names with different phone numbers that it didn’t merge. It just picked one and deleted the others.

Does not do what it says it will do. Every time you use it, you get those stupid pop-up "ads" for some idiotic game that you can't get out of for 5 or 6 seconds. I will never ever respond to that kind of ad. They are terrible and are dumbing down the populace.

Bought the lifetime back up only to find out I can’t set up an account. My data is not in the right format? No contact info. Useless. Hope I can get my money $20 back.

Deleted 95% of my NEEDED contacts---absolutely caused me more work and bother than my individually deleting unwanted duplicate address book entries...even deleted backup on iCloud....this program screwed me royally--I hate it!!! Would give 0 stars if I could!

I wanted ContactsDusterPro to make my phone book clean and organized, but instead some of my important contacts were deleted!! I'm definitely not going to buy a subscription. I'm disappointed.

It's a virus; all it wants to do is get in your pocket. Heaven help you if you really need a back up restore it. I paid for the subscription, backed up 500 contacts, and then was unable to restore them no matter what I did next.

Amazing.

I have never seen so many ads constantly popping up every 5 seconds so you can't even learn how to operate ContactsDusterPro . I hope you enjoy looking at ads cause it's going to force you.

Poor app, meant to get you to buy the cloud back up. Most of the functionality can be done inherently by your Apple iCloud account.

Contacts Duster Pro is a mediocre interfaced but useful app. Fortunately it includes a nice online FAQ/manual to help direct you in using ContactsDusterPro . With one click, or when opened, it automatically scans your sources and contacts for duplicates and presents them all to you. ContactsDusterPro even has the ability to graph the results. One can choose from which source to prefer when the contacts are merged and/or deleted. A handy backup is included to protect your contacts database just in case there are problems. From there, you can choose what you want to do with your contacts individually (includes a nice preview feature), or just click a button and let the process be fully automated by the duster. Export selected or all contacts via vcf to any email. My only recommendation is to make a setting where you can set the contact preference to Local, Cloud, etc. for all contacts, rather than having to do so individually. Straight forward and useful, although graphically plain and slightly buggy, ContactsDusterPro is recommended if you have a large set of contacts.

This is a cool app, the idea is cool. Great for people that have hundreds or thousands of contacts from their phone, email, etc. ContactsDusterPro will clean the duplicates and zombies for you. But I am not sure how the "group" function suppose to help. The only function in group is select contacts for this group. Not sure why we want to do this in pro version. And another problem I found is that the back up only back up once. After the first back up I cleaned it. Then I tried to graph it, there are still red zombie section in the pie (even though the zombie contact is already 0). I click on that red section, and it ask me to clean again with back up, which was the only one good option that I think I should choose from 3. Later I found that the my original back up was lost.

ContactsDusterPro does just what it says. It quickly identified contacts in my address book that were duplicates and had missing information. It is a little pricey due to the fact I don't know why you would need to use it more than once a year or even less depending on how many contacts you enter. Once you have ran it, there is nothing more for it to do. Also I was not fond of the Auto Dust feature, because I really wanted to delete one at at time not the whole group it identified, but I didn't see that as an option. I do like that it was able to identify the duplicates and merge them.

I have about 1000 contacts in my phone book. Some of them are deliberately duplicated as I require the information separately. ContactsDusterPro accurately found about 100 genuine duplicates and removed them. The issue I had was that, had I let it it would have automatically merged contacts I needed separately. This is a great app for identifying duplicates, however if you have sensitive contact details, you are far better using ContactsDusterPro to check manually.
