Useless

I’ve used this for years up until now. It once was one of the best I tried until I found that it would not beep if the screen was not up and running constantly. I’m a trainer that relies on this working consistently. If I navigate back to my notes the counter stops working and it never beeps to let you know the interval ended. My campers and I are frustrated with this useless app. Not realistic to only have that app open and nothing else running. USELESS. Finding something more efficient. Don’t waste your time unless you want to keep your screen on the entire workout and don’t count on switching screens at any point during the interval or it’s all thrown off. Crap in my opinion.
Doesn’t work when phone locked

I have loved this app and have been using it for years when doing the run walk run method. In the latest update, the app will not run in the background when my phone is locked. It won’t even run in the background if another app is pulled up. This is highly inconvenient and makes the app useless unless you want to have it up and open during your entire run. This is not a setting issue either, I have allowed all notifications. Please fix this issue!
Update ruined it

I agree with others who found the recent update to completely ruin this app. I use it for breathing exercises (the sounds it makes tell me when to breath in and out) and like to have it on in the background while I do other things on my phone to help me relax. That no longer works as the sounds don’t sound anymore unless this app is front and center. I don’t want to have to find another app and reprogram all my exercises into it. Please just fix this issue; It was great before!
