Perfect App before...

This Free recording app was perfect for me. I could record songs and playback with a mix function. I used it all the time. Then the App was rebooted to this pay app. Many of the functions were gone. Like the playback feature. You can playback one song at a time now. Very frustrating for me. I record songs. I like to listen to my recording at work. Offline. Without the mix playback feature this app is useless to me. And the ads were crazy. Couldn’t use a function without an ad playing first. Against my better judgement, I laid down my money to buy a subscription. There are still ads on my phone so when I touch play and miss, I’m now on some website I don’t want to be on. And still no mix playback. I feel like your a bunch of criminals. The original free app was way better than this one which I will not be paying for one more month.
Where in this interface can you trigger Edit/Trim mode (or how)???

The UX of this app is just horrible, but honestly, there is a difference in the quality of recorded audio (in my case quick guitar pieces). I would buy right now but for the life of me WHERE ARE THE EDIT CONTROLS? The tiny music note which appears in only certain scenarios (cannot identify as of yet) appears to become active on tap, and then what? No quick note or help found anywhere to direct me to the edit interface? Can support respond to this, it’s so frustrating. I’m happy to change this rating to a 5 if I can access this area.
Great with drawbacks

I love the ease of recording and playback. Since the update, I have been unable to create folders for storing similar types of recordings. The biggest drawback is I can’t get the recordings off my phone. Even the zipped files are too large to email and they don’t sync with my computer when I back up my phone. I’m getting a new phone and don’t want to lose important recordings. Wifi sharing doesn’t work with my chromebook either. Please help!
Update: developer contacted me and told me to create a new folder lower right corner button. I have an iPhone 6. There isn’t a button there. My screenshot doesn’t look like the one in the app store either- one less tab on top. Battery near dead on phone and can’t be replaced until I back up 12GB of recordings
