Motor Sport – magazine & news Reviews

I’ve been reading this publication since I was a teenager some forty years ago, immediately fell in love with it and have been ever since. My dad was the subscriber and pretty much had to wrestle it from me.
It’s got to be the only magazine in the world that’s so enjoyable, I actually read all of the advertising too 😁

I am a loyal subscriber to Motor Sport and consider it the best overall automotive magazine available, including in the US. It offers a unique combination of detailed racing coverage, historic perspective, and modern road car reviews. Barry Rashkover

Perhaps this is an issue with my understanding of MotorSport , but I do not appear to be able to download the magazines any more. In the old app it was straightforward. I read my magazines when NOT connected to the internet and MotorSport simply doesn’t allow me to do that. It’s very frustrating. this app is not cheap so this seems odd to me. I elected not to go with the print version for several reasons but am now regretting that choice.

With the new app, I can no longer simply pick up where I left off reading. Now, every time I open MotorSport , I have to bypass the "news" and reopen the magazine and then I still have to find the location where I last read. I use the website for the latest news, I want to use MotorSport to access this excellent magazine, but I am reading it less often now that it is more difficult to access.

I’ve read this magazine since 1960( looked at the pictures from ‘60 to ‘62)

Really there is no comparison necessary. This magazine is hard to put down. All the articles are brilliantly written with upmost research, and detail.

I love the Mag and decided to subscribe to the digital version as I travel a lot and miss the odd hard copy issue.

Now that I have, I’m almost sorry that I have. I’ve lost all my downloaded issues, and am unable to launch MotorSport . It starts with a welcoming flash, and then disappears as quickly as it appeared!

I would like to access the issues in PDF format to read the issues if MotorSport fix takes a while.

I Love the magazine...I have a monthly digital subscription. Why in the hell can’t I download the issues???

You say to click the link and I can’t find them. Plus I’m not sure you can read this. I assume it’s white font color?

use to be my fav mag but since the update really went downhill. I had purchased all the digital mags that they issued and was very happy . But since I had upgraded to my new iPad pro I lost almost all issues . Only was able even after the update yesterday to get the same 10 issues that I had since mid December . The other approx 40 to 50 mags will not reappear . I purchased all of my mags from my apple account not directly from this app 2 months now and still no hint of the problem being fixed .

MotorSport is gorgeous and the functionality is great. If you are a subscriber, don't hesitate to download this, you'll love it. If you've never read Motor Sport before, don't hesitate to download this, but be prepared to pay for a subscription because you'll likely end up subscribing after you read through the free issue and fall in love with the incredible digital presentation of the best motorsports publication out there. I know this because it just happened to me.

I've been reading Motor Sport for 40+ years and the addition of the iPad app is wonderful. I still like holding the beautifully published magazine in my hands but MotorSport will come in very handy. If you don't already subscribe then MotorSport should be all the incentive needed to sign up! In my opinion there is no finner periodical being published that covers historic and current motor sport across the globe.

Several months back, changes were made to MotorSport and its is terrible. The issues crash my machine on a regular basis. Also, having to scroll thru PDFs makes for an unnatural reading experience. While the magazine is terrific, their app should be throw out and they should start over. I've actually reverted back to the print version. Their excuse is BS as well.

I had a similar problem to yours and the fix is simple. Just delete MotorSport from your iPad and reinstall the new version (hold your finger over MotorSport until it wiggles and a black circle with a white X appears, tap MotorSport to delete). When I did this mine worked perfectly, no problems.

As far as MotorSport goes, it is just fantastic. Now, I get a sneak peak of the new issue before it arrives in my US mailbox. This just makes an iconic publication more special than it already was. Nothing worthwhile is inexpensive and in my opinion Motor Sport is worth every penny!

In the US I do enjoy your digital magazine and particularly the attached video. I would like to see less of the auctioned cars and more of the great historic events like the 1000 Miglia, Goodwood, etc. F1 coverage is good. Like that this gives very current up dated racing news. Like to see US events covered more like Daytona and Sebring. Like the “breakfast” articles with in-depth interviews of some of Motorsports greats. I do feel you could be more creative in your presentation. Magazine Looks very old -School and needs to have fresher updated appearance. In a nut shell: content good, but presentation needs to improve to look more current.
