As much as this game is fun, it’s nearly impossible to complete without gems. And gems are nearly impossible to get without paying actual money, which is dumb! I’m literally at a point in the game where I can’t complete any of the tasks because I have no gems, and I’m not willing to buy them! There are several pets, items, etc. that you need to buy to progress with the game and you literally cannot without buying gems. Also, one other thing I’m not a huge fan of is the fact that if you need to use gems to buy parts for a pen that you can’t complete, it says, for example, that you can use two diamonds to buy this and two diamonds to buy that, but then there’s a buy all down below which is like 50 gems? I think that’s just kinda strange, because who in their right mind would press the ‘buy all’ if there was a cheaper way to do it. If you’re going to implement the ‘buy all’ to begin with, add it as the same amount as buying them separately would cost. But other than the gems thing, this game is really fun and enjoyable, it’s well made and there is really a great variety of animals.

I found this game on the app stone one day and I wanted to try it out, but I was very disappointed. Fist of all I want to point out that this game is for ages 4 and up so it is kind of cheesy when it comes to graphics and sense. Like how people just walk out with their new pet practically stealing from you, or obviously how when a person buys a pet, the pet in their “habitat” the person buys doesn’t disappear like I feel it should. Almost like the pets you have are on display like a candy store in Disneyland. Another problem I found with the game that also doesn’t make sense is that there are more than one kind of person, like people have a bunch of triplets and twins that keep walking into the store. Anyways the real problem I had was with the higher type of money form the game offers, also known as gems. I feel that you don’t get enough, mostly because a lot of the pets and many other things cost gems. One of the things I found really wrong was when I was changing my store name and I found out that It actually cost GEMS to change your name, and I did realize that until I wanted to change it a third time witch led me to right this review and delete the game from existence, or at least delete all my progress (witch wasn’t a lot).

I’ve been playing maybe a week, and now every single animal I breed shows up with a “your baby is sick” message. So I can either forfeit all the coins that I saved up and the time I committed (sometimes days) to breed that pet and start over, knowing the same thing will happen next time, or I can use the last few gems I have. Gems are WAY overpriced considering the number you need to buy a pet or save a sick baby. I know in-app purchases support developers, but it’s not optional in this game, and it’s definitely not worth it for what you get. There are so many other games out there where you can make progress for free or with very affordable IAPs that actually give value for your money. They could at least add an option for people who can’t pay money where we can choose to watch ads to get gems. I’ve also had issues with having to buy pets multiple times because they disappear (along with the coins I paid) and completing quests that require a bunch of friends or a stash of gems to complete the different steps. It was fun at first but I literally can’t progress further now unless I pay a lot of real money. Not worth the download—as soon as you start to enjoy yourself you’ll be stuck.
