This is horrible marketing

I live in Detroit and am a huge Rangers fan. I used to use this Rangers app for the in-game alerts all throughout the season, it was my way of staying on top of the team because it instantly gave me score updates and highlights when I was at work or in class. I tried to download it again for this season, but it forces you to download the NHL app. I don't have enough memory on my phone for both and I don't want the NHL app! You would think that the NHL would be happy that a guy from Detroit is downloading both the Wings AND Rangers apps, but apparently that's not satisfying enough for them so they try and force you to get the NHL one. Nope, ain't gonna do it. Thanks for ruining what was once good, don't fix what's not broken!!
Absolutely pointless and ten steps backwards!

The old app actually had content not found on the NHL app. It allowed me to listen to games. I listened to the playoffs in London a few years ago. I tried to listen recently and no luck. I enjoyed the extra interviews the old app had. It was for fans! I rarely used the NHL app and see little use for it for Rangers content. I am extremely disappointed. As a season ticket holder for years I view this as a slap in the face!

I'm so mad they changed, or should I say, got rid of this app. There was a reason for me having both this and the NHL one, they were different and I enjoyed this one specifically because I'm a ranger fan and it was much easier to follow. The notifications during a game were simple. Now it's completely useless, I don't understand the point of even still having this if it just directs you to the NHL app. So stupid.
