NIKON IMAGE SPACE Reviews

In the beginning all worked perfectly but after a few weeks I noticed I would always have to login into NIKONIMAGESPACE when it use to remember the login. Now it constantly shows a “under maintenance” type of message at the bottom of the login screen and no matter what I’ve tried (even changing the password, and deleting and reinstalling NIKONIMAGESPACE ) I can no longer login. After many attempts and lost of frustration I finally get into NIKONIMAGESPACE but it will not automatically upload the photos taken they just sit on my phone and I have to upload them manually. Nikon troubleshooting hasn’t helped at all I’ve just stopped using it and will not buy another Nikon seeing as IMAGE SPACE was the deciding factor

At first, Nikon ImageSpace seems like an awesome idea. Photos done, transfer through SnapBridge, smart phone, and ImageSpace. Not really - it is buggy, not all transfer, and management is not the best. Now, why 1 star? I have been a Nikon customer for a number of years. I had another ImageSpace account. Apparently Nikon was doing something, I had not logged into the account for a period of time (sorry - was not aware attendance was required), I missed email notifications on an old email account, and Nikon deleted all but one of my photos. Yes - all. I was not at capacity, I bought their product(s), but all was not good enough. I contacted Nikon and got “sorry - we can’t restore”. Be cautious with their apps.

NIKONIMAGESPACE is appsolutely worthless!

Can't even upload a picture after following the directions.

When I tried to write a review it didnt even know I had it downloaded..said I had to have NIKONIMAGESPACE in order to review it (I've had the worthless app for over a week).

So I deleted it, then downloaded it again, and it's still not working.

A nice camera, but since I can't download any pictures, it's essentially worthless until they fix this.

Looking at the reviews I won't be holding my breath.

NIKONIMAGESPACE requires an update to use but the update is noted as “delayed” for iOS. This is ridiculous when you pay extreme amounts for a camera and can’t access something because NIKONIMAGESPACE isn’t updated by the developer

Got a message that they will be updating NIKONIMAGESPACE . The update was going to be 2 days and be done. Well it is almost a week later and still not working for IOS. You buy Nikon because you trust the name. Well lately that is not the case Nikon apps are not reliable.

Wish I could figure out how to get this thing to work as advertised, on my third hour of screwing with it.

I would not have bought Nikon camera if I knew this would not work!

Camera features are impressive, but what got me to buy it was the so called easy connectivity, Too bad, I did not do my research!

The desk top version is intuitive and user friendly - gets five stars and is a definite keeper. The mobile app - not so much. I can only up load one photo at a time, there’s no way to delete unwanted pics and, ironically, the online help refers to the desk top version - making it essentially useless for my iPad. I’ll check back for updates. Hopefully, the developers will fix this mess of an app.

I am so upset. I used NIKONIMAGESPACE for the last three years, including just a few weeks ago when I proposed to my fiancée. Nikon sent me an email saying I need to login to my account a week later because it is inactive and will be shut down... but it also said that if I have already logged in recently (Which I did!) then to disregard the email. Today I just found out all my pictures I have taken in the last three years (including the proposal) are gone. I HATE NIKONIMAGESPACE. Save yourself and don’t use it, trust it, or even waste your time downloading it.

It’s nice that you’ve got a way for us to back up our photos, but I actually can’t upload any more than let’s say 15 photos without NIKONIMAGESPACE crashing. I’m not gonna relaunch and re-select all the pictures I want to upload every time NIKONIMAGESPACE crashes, I’ve got over 1500 pictures on my phone I need backed up do you expect me to re-launch and re-select every image 100 times? I think not. Dropbox does exactly what it says it does so if you also thing NIKONIMAGESPACE is garbage go get dropbox

NIKONIMAGESPACE has some good features: it’s pretty and syncable, and photos are downloadable to other devices, for example. I’m grateful to Nikon for trying and giving NIKONIMAGESPACE away for free. And they’ve fixed some of the bugs that I’d complained about earlier (so I deleted those statements from this review). But its failures are too serious for it to be useful. The main problem is that it does not save full-resolution images. Worse, its interface is so confusing and spare that it doesn’t seem to allow you to add photos from an Apple Photos album to an Image Space album that was created earlier.

disappointing that after nearly 10 years of using photo stream in the apple world that Nikon doesn’t have a clue how to design or execute an app that will allow transfer of phones from their cameras to the cloud for easy access. two abs are required for your phone an additional app required for your laptop multiple logins multiple settings adjustments to pair via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth which needs to be done multiple times for a single upload of 100 photos. after four hours I still have only been able to upload 38 photos out of 100. do yourself a favor and don’t even get started on using NIKONIMAGESPACE unless you want to waste a lot of time and experience multiple stupid loops

I’m Experiencing the same thing as Drew… I’m getting an error message whenever I’m trying to upload 20 or more photos.
It would be nice if there was a phone number that I could call to speak with someone about the problem so it possibly could get resolved!

The image info is being lost during the upload. NIKONIMAGESPACE doesn’t allow selection from the Photo’s Favorites album.

I always have problems opening NIKONIMAGESPACE - once I get it opened, it works well!!
I’ve tried deleting it and downloading it again. It just doesn’t want to work about 40% of the time.

When I can login- I love how NIKONIMAGESPACE ties everything together and it’s so easy to share photos!!

There’s a problem with following:
All Photos
Click to view all photos and movies currently uploaded to NIKON IMAGE SPACE, which total to the number shown.

It only shows one picture of the uploaded. To see all photos I have to select Recent Photos then it shows all pictures.
It used to work but not anymore not even video.
This latest version needs to be fixed.

When NIKONIMAGESPACE works it’s excel ok Ent. Connections are tricky and lately it has not been working well.

I have been using Nikon Image Space for longer than I can remember. It’s effective, easy and intuitive to learn, and rich in features.

Nikon has done a great job here of developing an app to hold and share photos. When combined with SnapBridge you don’t even have to separately upload the images; SnapBridge does it for you. All in all NIKONIMAGESPACE serves an important function for the casual photographer.

Works as intended after 5.0 update, thanks Nikon ;)

Everything works so well on iPhone 13 pro !! :)
