With so much information online for free PennLive felt it necessary to charge for this information about Penn State that can be found anywhere for free. I loved the old app but will go back to google searches like the good ol days. Bad move Penn Live. The ads that come through on the old app should more than pay for expenses for PennStateFootballNews .
PennStateFootballNews used to be the best free app for psu football fans and now almost every good story is a subscriber exclusive that you have to pay for. I use PennStateFootballNews mainly for the alerts on new stories and then go elsewhere to read about it. Iโm not paying $5.99 a month to read two good stories. Complete rip off!
Used to be the best app out there. The non-football content is terrible and thereโs no reason to pay for the football content when you can find it elsewhere without paying for it. Bad move.
By seeing the pennlive articles, but not being able to open and read them is very frustrating. Only articles that can be read without charge should be placed on PennStateFootballNews.
Once it was my go to App for Penn State Football , now Im deleting it. Most articles now require a paid subscription now and most of the other articles donโt even have anything to do with Penn State.
I donโt understand the non PSU football content on here and now all the subscriber content. I get it, as a businessman someone has to make some money but just not a fan of all these changes.

Disappointed by latest update. Used to be one of my favorite Penn a state football apps. New version requires subscription for many articles and has non-football related stories intermingled.
