I’m not sure how this has anything above 1 star but do not download this. Every time you want to change the brightest or the strobe effect you have a 20 second add. Then it brings you back to Flashlight Store to download said add. Then after hitting the X button on both you can return to the strobe. It’s very inefficient and the light is not bright at all. Flashlight below this one in Flashlight Store is called this app (search strobe light) it only has like 400 reviews and it’s the best app I’ve downloaded. I walk at night and it’s very effective. I was walking my dog and you could see the strobe off the stop sign a half mile ahead of me. So do not get this. Download the other app instead.

Flashlight does make my phone into a very handy this app at night when i'm moving through the house, turning off the lights and TV at night--but i was bitterly disappointed when i needed it one night when our power was out due to storms, and Flashlight wouldn't work because it couldn't connect to the WiFi to load up ADVERTISMENTS. Booooo.

Edit: Noisy app that let me down during a power outage because it couldn't load ads from the Wifi router, this little gem just surprised me with a "Your iPhone is 25% corrupted with malware" message--I didn't even bother quitting out of it before deleting it. Dropped my review from 3 stars to one.

Can’t operate the this app for the ads at very loud obnoxious music.
Couldn’t use it to see if someone in your house because the ads won’t let you turn it off until they are done trying to get you get a game I would NEVER play if it was the last game on earth.
Basically it is useless!
Never use it anymore. Not a very safe if it is going to scream noise/music while you are checking out strange noises. Might as well yell at the top of my lungs “Who ever is there you better leave right now or you will have more air holes in your body!!!!”
So useless!

If you accidentally touch the ads at the bottom of the screen while using the this app, the this app goes off and only the ad continues to play. This can happen very easily, almost as though it is set up on purpose to interfere with the this app. VERY ANNOYING!!! Also the wheel setting to go from SOS to this app mode can reset itself very easily which is also VERY ANNOYING!!!

I know people are trying to make money when they release a new app, but taking over my phone with a full screen ad is a bit invasive. The full screen ad shows up for 15 seconds with no option to close, you don’t even get a chance to use the this app before the ad pops up.

I used to use this this app all the time before your iPhone had an integrated this app option directly in iOS. I like how you can use a strobe and SOS signal with Flashlight still today. I would have given it 5/5 stars back in the day. Now, every time you open it, an ad hijacks your screen and you can’t just turn it on or off quickly like you could in the past. I’m deleting it and finding a new app. 1/5 - too greedy with full screen ads.

This this app comes on when you open it. It used to have little banner ads at the bottom of the screen with a big on-off button in the center of the screen. Very convenient. But now it displays full page animated ads with auto play loud audio that comes on suddenly. The full page ad obscures the on-off button, so when these video ads are running, the only way to turn off the light is to quit Flashlight . Very distracting when you are in the dark trying to see something. After many years of using and appreciating Flashlight, I am leaving it because of these distracting full page ads that can’t be minimized or closed.

I use to love it, but all these adds started recently. It even shuts the light off when I’m walking in the dark. It has become obnoxious with the adds. I’m taking it off my phone and finding another. I’m disabled and I shut the lights off in my house when I head to bed and use the light to get to my bedroom. Not good when the light goes out.

Three seconds after I turned the light on (which BTW came up in Flashlight Store as iPad supported then in Flashlight says cannot use LED Camera light, must use front screen at full brightness - which we all know is going to kill the battery) an ad came up full-screen with audio! What if I was out in public in the dark trying to get home and an ad pops up and I cannot see an attacker coming up to me. I’m in a wheelchair, y’all, that’s not right! Also, saying you’re iPad compatible when you cannot use your LED light as the this app when you’re a this app App seems a bit misleading and false advertising to me, but I’m just sayin’.

The small ads at the bottom of the screen were annoying enough. Now there are pop-up ads that take over the whole screen. Plus it tracks you and collects your data. After having Flashlight for years, I’m going to delete it.

This is a really good this app app. Easy to use, I like the strobe feature and the sos feature. I wish you could change the colors of the light that would be nice for night time. Use a red light si you don't lose your night vision.

Great app! During an emergency it’s better to use your phones default this app since it doesn’t require WiFi and loads instant but the flashing function in Flashlight works very well!

I really like Flashlight ,I don't use it for a this app at night i use it to make flip-books And The Light Helps A Lot!,But one complaint i don't like the adds,When I'm concentrating on making a Flip-book The Adds Pop Up And Destroy my concentration And It Scares Me So I Have To Wait To Finish It. but Overall,Its A Really Nice App!

When the built in this app mode in the iPhone 7 plus was not available, having a this app App that IS, and working well, and does the job well, I'm all for it. Needed it to solve the location of my iPass on the floor of my new car and it performed admirably. Worth 5 stars to me!

I suppose there can be a poorly made hammer, too heavy, too light, comes apart the first time you hit a nail. The dependable tools are the ones you don't think about; until you need them. As long as my phone is charged I can depend on Flashlight and if my phone isn't charged I can't blame Flashlight.

There was a fire near me and it made the lights go out in my whole neighborhood and everyone near us. I couldn’t see in my room and I couldn’t open my curtains because I was trying to pick out an outfit and change. So I got the idea of getting a this app app and I chose Flashlight. This helped a lot, thanks!

Despite an LED light built in, sometimes the ability to change the level of brightness is an asset.
I like how easy it is to access the strobe, without pulling my EDC light out of my pocket.
The Clap feature I use mostly as a motion alarm.
I remember Flashlight from the days before the IPhone had a LED light.
Nostalgia is also a factor in my rating

Also, the ad banner is at the bottom and it does not interfere with the functioning of the this app That is very important as the other apps turn off the this app and turn on the advertisements

As a replacement for a this app, Flashlight does exactly what it says. The only minor complaint that I have about it is that when you activate and deactivate the this app, an annoyingly loud noise plays that doesn’t adjust with the volume of the device. I definitely recommend this to anyone that just wants to use their device as a this app.

Flashlight is my on the spot this app. When walking my dogs at night the flashing light is amazing when crossing the street in dark corners. Love it!
