The top menu doesn’t work. Annoying ads that take up a lot of space. Unable to edit my player’s photo. Player contact info is not accurate and cannot be edited. Holy cow Teamer is a nightmare.

So frustrating to have an app that crashes every single time you want to open up a team chat. Bad user experience and very buggy

Teamer is clunky and noisy...too many ads and distractions.
It’s not easy to accomplish anything and too many clicks to get to where to want to go.
As a parent, there’s got to be a better way...

I have an iphone x and Teamer does not look like in the screenshots. Does not use the full screen, its scaled.

Cumbersome and clunky.
Spend the money in TeamSnap.
It works much better.

New update doesn’t support clubs. Doesn’t do notifications unless you open Teamer to look. Can’t search members. Very very limited. Notifications issue is just making our players choose a different app

More of a question than review.

Is there a way to get Teamer to actually notify the team when the coach sends a message or update?
I recently started using Teamer and my team sees the messages but only by checking daily for any new messages. Teamer is alerting them of any new messages.
Is it a settings thing?

Generally helps me notify team of events and times. Wish I could have a parents group and players group for each team as sometimes I need to notify all about something but other times only players. I don't like the ads and irbid frustrating to have to add $ to text after a certain number of text messages sent.

I loved Teamer, it was such a great mode for game time notifications and roster count until the 2 most recent updates!! We have had three games and for each one this app has sent out the wrong times to my team (all different times by the way) despite my inputting the correct times. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed. If the time issue was fixed I would give Teamer 5 stars

Teamer used to work perfectly. But recently I can’t get into Teamer most tries and if I can, it runs slow. Hate to find an alternative, but we need something that works.

It is “ok” but not great. It is not nearly as intuitive and user friendly as TeamSnap, and rather frustrating to use if you have gotten used to the functionality of TeamSnap. But… it’s free.

You could edit your accept or decline later

Teamer was working perfectly fine until a month ago, constantly lagging, slow to display my teams. Unless I got wifi on I kept getting an error message “please check your connection “ all other apps in my phone work fine without WIFI. I hope you can make some changes to improve Teamer performance

this app does a lot of things well. Team and event organization and notification are great. There is some work to do around performance and reliability but their support team quickly resolved any issues I ran into. Overall very useful.

Love it just wish it had instant group messaging instead of my parents receiving an email when I send them a message. I use this app for game info and group me for messaging my parents.

Works well. Great way to keep the team organized. a few things could be better though. The this app website supports document uploads. Would be nice if we could access them from Teamer , but as of now that feature does not seem to be here. Also, multiple emails per player would be nice. That way both parents as well as the player can be easily notified.

First, this app does what it says it does (with a minor glitch here and there) and is a very useful tool for any team leader. So, give it a try.

That said, they are so close to having an outstanding, indispensable app.

For instance they have the "team talk" where you can post discussions. You can choose who receives it which is good, but if someone comments on it, everyone receives an email, and my team rebelled against the email traffic. So, I still use TT, but it's mainly used as one-way broadcast tool from me to the team.

They have a nice invite system for events, and people can block out days they are not avail, but as any leader knows, to get people to proactively do something like that is not reliable. They have a "standby" system, but that doesn't take into account positions on a team (that who the replacement is can depend on who is missing). What's missing is an "availability poll" where you can ask who's avail and then choose a team from there.

All that said, I've been using the this app app/website successfully for about 1 month (with my work-arounds) and it's better than trying to do all this with email and txts and google calendar.

Give it a try and see if it works for you and your team. It's definitely worth the time to take a look.

Great app!

When my local league decided to drop Pointstreak I nearly panicked. The this app ap has really stepped in as a suitable replacement. I use it mainly to schedule games and know who can attend. My team really likes the Ap, Web, text and email options with simple check-in/out options.
