Just subscribed a couple of days ago for both digital and print versions. I downloaded this app as instructed and all copies remain locked on preview only. After preview it said to either register or sign in. I thought I would be registered by subscribing however after 3 days of trying to follow instructions given , I decided to call customer service. I waited on hold for 30 minutes before somebody to me that I would have to follow the directions in the confirmation email. There is nowhere to “register” or “sign in” on the app to unlock digital versions. I will attempt another call tomorrow to their “tech” department.

TERRIBLE customer service. It took over a week for customer service to respond to my complaint that I could not access my digital subscription. After responding, they said I’d have access in 24-48 hours. That was about 4 days ago…still no access. Who cares how good the content might be if you can’t access it! Very disappointed in the process, or lack thereof. This seems fundamental. Don’t bother subscribing until this is fixed.

It’s a ripoff if you happen to subscribe through the app, and nothing through the magazine itself. NO WAY to restore purchases or contact the developer via the app itself. I changed devices because the old iPad from 2012 bit it, and am now without 8 years of paid for content.
And forget about contacting support through the app, it’s just not there. Contact developer through the Apple store just leads to the Magazine webpage, and they’re sympathetic but useless.
