Deca stole my money and didn’t send me platinum and told me to deal with CelticHeroes Store instead of just sending me my platinum. Look on social media there are MANY reports of them doing this to people! SCAM ARTISTS! Also deca messes up their updates and STEALS the good items you won! They do this ALL THE TIME. Do not download their games and give them your personal information. They will abuse it! ZERO stars not even 1! Also there are many reports of DECA charging you for the next more expensive platinum purchase instead of the one you selected. Crazy anyone still plays this companies games. User response: Okay if you don’t steal drops then SEND MY GODLY BLOODLEAF CHARM OF TRANSMUTATION back that you deleted after YOU messed up one of your updates! PROVE IT. Also if anyone wants to see people claiming they stole their money and stuff just go on social media. I wouldn’t trust any deca employee with your personal information as they probably would steal your identity too. SUCH A BAD COMPANY DO NOT PLAY THEIR GAMES ANY OF THEM!

I’ve been playing this game for 10 years on the server of Donn. Now that server is dead and I have to start over on a new server just so I can have human interaction. my character is level 170. I almost made it to 200 but what’s the point when there is The server of Donn. Celtic Heroes please do something about this bro… I may just give up playing even though I LOVE this game, but starting over isn’t worth my time after all, I do have a life. And why would y’all make it so hard to level up? If we have to switch servers in order to play with people, why is there not a support team ensuring that all servers are active. From friends to clans to auction house it doesn’t even matter anymore because all this stuff is dead. If y’all don’t Problem well, let’s just say another customer lost…. SMH I am done Celtic heroes, with y’all in this long winded stuff at the 10 years all I ask is to be reunited with my colleagues from long ago, but no y’all want to make a different servers when there’s only 100 people this game. L Celtic Heroes. And L support team for not handling this situation 10 years ago because now all my hard work has been in vein. PS I wasn’t going to say anything at all because I usually don’t send reviews but y’all ask for it.

I can’t say that Celtic Heroes isn’t great, because I’ve been playing it for about 6 years now. However, no matter how great their updates have been, they are still lacking. For one, I keep getting bounties that aren’t easy for my level! How am I supposed to even get anywhere when I have to keep abandoning the quests. It’s a waste of time. Additionally, I understand Celtics is a free game but because it is so hard to even obtain the coins in the game, it makes it hard to even buy anything. I buy one think and I am immediately broke. I enjoy this game but I don’t want to have to use $10 a day or who knows how much real life money I need to buy the stupid platinum. In other words, unless you use real money (and a lottttt of it) it will take you a good amount of time to level up because you lack elixirs. It’s simply unfair. I feel like their point was to either scam us from our money (including those naive young players who don’t know any better) or make us play this game forever. It’s possible but honestly it gets tedious. I stopped playing the game so many times because either my account got stolen or I just got bored of taking an entire month to just go up 1 level.

I joined back in 2010 and have had multiple characters across Rosmerta, Danu, Epona, and Nuada. The game hasn’t drastically changed in many years but small events keep the game going. There hasn’t been any game updates in a long time, and there’s Connacht event items, carpets, sleds, and other things I’d like to see again as they’re nearly unobtainable in most servers unless you have several hours invested or a few hundred dollars.

It’d be nice to see a new class, more charms, a new level cap, another world with more bosses, more items to balance out the insanely priced items at the market currently. If there’s an engine change again, then maybe market it as a new game and give original characters benefits? This is an amazing game and could definitely climb the AppStore ranks again, but it needs effort, work, and time.. not just people sitting back enjoying the dying profit that’s slowly trickling in from the mega fans still buying platinum.

I’ve been a fan of Celtic Heroes since it’s release. And after a long heiatis I finally jumped back in. Things were going smoothly and I was excited to jump back into a game that felt fresh and new after the major update.

However once I had reached level 23 and was in dustwither catacombs. Were after closing the game for the night and trying to boot it up the following day, I was greeted with, instead of the boot up screen and menu, I was given I still image of the last place I was. No matter what I did nothing happened, and most terrifying, it wouldn’t let me return to the home screen. Only after doing a hard shutdown was I able to return to normal. But then after trying to boot up the game I was simply greeted with an infinite one touch mobile splash screen. Not even deleting the game and reinstalling it fixed the issue.

This is a bug of catastrophic proportion and needs to be looked into and fixed as soon as possible, if the dev team sees this please consider this a top priority, as a glitch like this can completely kill a game, thank you.

I have so many high hopes for this game, I just know that it can do better. I’ve been playing this since 2016 or 17 and I got really addicted because this is the type of game that I’m into and that the game play is perfect for me, I just wish that I’m able to find something similar to this. Although I have high hopes for this game I know that not everything can happen over night and since I’ve been playing for years already I’m tired of waiting. I’ve read some of the review and a lot show about how the game was once great but its not anymore. This game has so many potential to be great again but I’m just assuming it doesn’t have to right team or people for it. I really love this game and I won’t be playing anymore but I’ll never forget it, that’s why I gave it 4 rating instead of 3 or 2 because as of right now I know it doesn’t deserve a 5. But I hope it can get to there.

It’s a fun game. Easy to learn gameplay, a largely supportive community. For those who like the Celtic mythos they bring in a lot of names but (unfortunately) don’t do much with them.
There are daily quests and lots of ways to keep busy if you don’t want to simply grind.
My one big gripe is that they advertise the “shop” to buy extras. The extras aren’t necessary, but lots of them are quite nice. You buy them with one of the two forms of in game currency (“platinum”, vs “gold” which is used to buy more mundane in game items). They advertise that you can do surveys and stuff to earn “platinum”, but you spend the time doing the surveys and the platinum never finds its way to your account. The only other way is to spend real $$, which I’m just not able to do right now. Dissapointing, but not so much to keep me from playing the game.

So I have quit this game a long time ago since 2014. My in game name was both Serviceman (ik it’s trash) and LuvDeNinjaYay (also trash but I had more rep in that name) and it was easy in a good way to level up... until you get around level 80-90. Everything revolved around regeneration items and who had the most money to buy luxury items. For that you needed to be stacked with gold which was almost impossible to grind normally.

People camped spawns with high loot drops for hours just to have around 10k at the end of the day when things costed at least 90k. The new engine also kind of turned me off since it was too much, the older engine around the 2013 era was much simpler with animations and was perfectly fine. One thing I want improved in the game to bring me back is to up the gold drop rate per kill because it is ridiculous around 80-90 almost impossible to farm normally. Otherwise I give it a 4/5, with these fixes it would be 5/5

I’ve been looking for a MMORPG game for awhile and it took me ages to find a game that fit all my expectations. I was sick of the MMORPG games that would Auto Play or would throw tons of buttons at you and fill your screen up. When I found this game I was unsure weather it would be the same as all the other trashy games but I was shocked and amazed when I started playing this game. It is super new player friendly and the character customization is just right where it is not to much. The graphics are not the best to be as expected because it is an old game but it makes up for that in quality. I would recommend to everyone to try this game out. Now on to the things I would improve once you are done with the tutorial story line the game jumps way up in difficulty not to much to where it is impossible but to the point where you have to grind levels to complete one quest, not that, that is a bad thing but the side quests don’t reward that much exp. Also I would recommend giving out quests after the tutorial to be able to get a mount and teach them about where to buy weapons and gear. Also most of the side quests are extremely hard and annoying to new players when they do not know where to look or when luck is a sole base. Overall I love the game I would recommend everyone to give it a shot and I hope this review gave you some insight.

Such an excellent game! Glad I returned a couple weeks ago, hoping DECA keeps up the updates and new features (and a plat sale soon lol)
The only downsides I see as still there from earlier play are things which can be tweaked to help steer player behavior -

Dead servers vs busy servers? Maybe merge some quiet servers.

Economic imbalance causes situations where desperate end gamers in need of millions to gear up so they can join raids farm low level uncommon quest and skill book drops to sell to low levels for crazy prices after blocking access to those mobs. Perhaps having more No Trade drops or blocking drops if you are way over the level of the mob?

End game quests and drops on each server controlled by a handful of players dictating how other endgame players may play. This works to keep the peace but isn't how a game mechanic should work as the tone and culture of your game is then handed to a few players. Perhaps having top end gear drop in time locked instanced maps so that a player may only try that zone / be part of a raid in that zone once per time period but the zone is cloned for any raid group entering to try it. This would allow smaller clans to continue to play to end game without having all players leave to join the massive clan at the top of the heap.

I love Celtic heroes. The game helped me get through a lot of nasty times in my life through how supporting the players are. I have a lot of time put into this game and words cannot explain how much it breaks my heart to see less and less people on servers. Yesterday I went on at about 8 pm eastern time (I’m from Morrigon) and I checked about 7 zones, only found 2 other people on. I can’t do this anymore, this game has always been fun but that was because of the community that supported each other, the clan system, the fact that we could grind, hunt bosses and level with other players. I genuinely upset with the whole OTM betrayal and I feel like VR isn’t really doing much with Celtic Heroes. I think the only solution to keep us old timers playing and new people coming is to merge smaller servers together. Please, I really love this game and I feel betrayed.

I love this game and have been playing since December of 2011, I’ve grinded to 100+ on almost every server. But I took a 2 year break and now came back to start up a new character. Not even a few months in they banned my account. They say I broke tos....which I did not. So I ask them about it and they say that I had “received stolen items, which is indicative of scamming.” So now I come to find I was banned for buying an item from someone else, simply because the person I bought from supposedly stole it. They will not reply to my emails anymore and refuse to give any further info on the matter, or even state what item I received was stolen. I love this game but hate your service...it says few days for replies but I’ve been waiting weeks. I’m banned for something someone else has done and I hope it can be fixed. Would like to get back into the game as soon as possible.

I have been playing on and off for 4 years now. I can’t get into all of the game because it’s a very intense and somewhat complicated game but you can do so much on it. The graphics are amazing, on iOS anyway, and the competitive element on some of the servers (Rhiannon is where I am) is intriguing and keeps players active. Other apps such as BAND have been useful for keeping players in touch out of the game, and it’s a very realistic setting where people from all over the world come together and work as a team, young or old. Pick a clan, grow with them, and fight your rivals in a hopefully friendly competition. There are so many other elements of the game as well such as building your character based on class, collecting fashions, fishing and cooking, leveling, and killing bosses. This game may consume your life as it has mine and my sisters and fathers. We play as a family and I strongly suggest you play too. Just make sure to manage your time well :)

This game is great. It’s fun and has a lot of potential but needs a lot of work. Deca taking over has given me new hope for this game. What I’ve noticed since playing off and on since 2012 is that gold distribution and economy definitively need a rework. In mid game you are stuck relying on the mercy of clans to get the gear you need. There’s no way for a solo player to kill the bosses that they need to kill for the items. Even at level 100 or so mobs only drop on average 15-20 gold and gear that a player needs at that level is 325,000g at least. A gold distribution and economy change would be needed and allow for newer players (which this game desperately needs) to keep playing and not get bored after they figure out at a certain point you can’t do anything unless you join a clan and hope they give you the items you need to progress.

I ve been playing this game since I was 13 (I’m 21 now) the game was great back in the time and honestly is getting better and even more fun if you have friends to squad up, the thing is that the gold you get from the enemies is no enough! Please increase the gold rate drop a little, when you get Higher lvl, the equipment is up to 150k gold and you only earn 14 32 or even 10 gold per enemie :)) that makes the thing really frustrating because you really need to play for hours and hours and hours if you wanna get that gold amount, of course you can sell stuffs or any clan can give you what you need 🙄, but not all the people want to join in a clan just to get the things they need, some people prefer to get it by themselves and not all have good stuffs to sell, I don’t want to say it’s a pay to win game because you can get everything by your own effort but anyway...takes too long and will be better if you guys increase the gold drop rate :(

If you get into this game with some friends it’s so easy to get addicted I’m always a mage, wizard, or any other magic casters in games so obviously I picked the mage and I love this game I’ve been playing it for so many years. My cousin showed it to my brother and I so from there on we were addicted to it leveling up our characters, trading, getting rare objects, powerful weapons, spells just the best things in the game and it was the best time in my life playing this game. I always loved games and still do but this game hit different when I was much much younger than I am now this is a legendary game with amazing memories that can’t be replaced or replicated. Wish there was more you guys could add to this game to make it alive and thrive again but it’s the best game that sadly died out so now only the older players can have the memories of this amazing game in its prime. Might show this game to some friends and hopefully they get addicted and I can level them up with my old account😹. Thanks for all the memories. Keep up the good work.

Man this is still one of my fav game of all time but right now it’s kinda dead because the big clans are taking over the server. Back then before they add bt or Dino We were able to out lock them big clans sometimes like on prot or gele but later on after they add new boss like bt or Dino the big clan are way too op with gears so it get bored and yeh thays the end for us , rip to those new players tho, they try so hard but edl gears is the highest gears they can get because they would never out lock the big clans so that’s where we all starting to quit They should add more server so players can start and try to grind on new server because all the recent server are owned by the big clans or they should add personal quest where we can get op gears to keep up with clans competition so it can be fun and more players can start commimg back because if they keep it like this , more players will start quitting , and the legacy boss drops are trash compare to the end game bosses. I hope to come back to this game somedays .

6 years ago in july 2012 my friend showed this game he found to me for the rest of the summer my friend, his two sister, his brother and my brother played this game nonstop. After continued play throughout school some of us stopped playing but we all came back and played over the years. Now today i think back realizing that the amount of fun we had from the game in its prime will never happen again and that no game will ever compare to the memories created in the game. When i say this i truly mean it that this was and will forever be best game i have had and the most fun i have ever had playing one. I continue to play today trying to bring back some of the fun i had previously but it had its prime and that was years ago. If you’re going to play it is still an amazing game if you can find a group of friends that you can all become addicted to it then it could change your life. I do think they have been slacking lately on making updates and making the game its best but i guess with a loss of players they dont have many options. Anyway still the best game of my life. Fire mage for life 🧡

I’ve been playing my main account / character/ same server since this game launched. I’ve seen so many wonderful updates. But I really wish the new company would add things for players that aren’t to pay cash for and actually make events where you can get fashion or a mount easily and not be so difficult with out having to buy extra drops from players to barely be able to get fashion pieces not even a full set. The lack of content has really dragged the game down, you 100% need to do server mergers. Combine a few active servers to actually save this game! Got people having to start from the beginning again with nothing just to find an active server to engage with people in. I love this game. But between paying for chests, unobtainable event quests, and no server mergers this game is just gonna die more and you guys won’t have any revenue and would probably sell the game off to another. If possible when you do read this, please put some more effort into helping the player base out and make this game more engaging & enjoyable again please.

I’ve written a review before, just thought I’d write another since I have a better understanding of the game 😁

Let me just say flat out, Celtic Heroes is amazing! I’ve played this game for a year and a half, and it surprised me how good the quality and story was! I loved it immediately. But by the time I got to level 20ish, things started to get rough out of lack of gold to buy jewelry I needed. But in the end the more experienced players helped me get a better understanding of how to play and level up. Don’t listen to any bad reviews. Of course this game has room to improve, but what game doesn’t? Overall this game is pretty solid and has lasted since 2011. Plus the graphics are amazing, it is fun to play, and for the most part the people are wonderful. I would suggest this game to anyone looking for a fun and exciting MMORPG, as it is probably one of the best. All you got to do is save your gold, level, get through the early levels (which is real easy to do), and find some good endgamers and Celtic Heroes will leave you with memories that will last you a long time.
